Latest news I've heard is that Harkin and Howe will be confirmed as the new double act.
It turns out Richard Hughes was never in the running to begin with for the DOF role and the Harkin deal was done on a gentleman's handshake a few weeks ago with the club waiting to get everything in line in order to make one announcement for all positions in the coming days.
JK will be staying at the club although I have heard nothing definite about his new role. HH.

Great stuff if true I do believe howe will be manager one question I have ate you allowed to talk to or try to recruit players if not officially manager ie would howe be able to speek with josh King for example.

bestybhoy, all things considered I think Harkin and Howe (plus Howe's coaching team) would be a positive and fresh start.
A D. O. F is important, to put in place a lasting footballing structure and Harkin can bring a lot to the table.
As Head Coach, Howe is young, ambitious and looking to reestablish his credentials.

Yes Pedro, I think they would be good.
Remember though it's just a rumour and has absolutely no credibility until it happens or someone else is unveiled.
You'd like to think the club has things in place by now because if they're still looking around and considering other options after so long then it wouldn't be a good sign but I do honestly believe there is a lot of work going on in the background that we will never know about.

I think I saw in the betting that Howe is out to 1/ 16 with the nearest out to 10/ 1 usually a pretty clear sign it's happening when that happens.
