Heard we are trying to sign Lille's Croatian LB Domagoj Bradaric on loan with the option to buy in the summer.

Also trying to get two players signed on pre-contracts.
Albert Gudmundsson (winger)
Marc-Oliver Kempf (centre back)

1.) 08 Jan 2022 19:23:48
Where have you heard this kinghenrik?

☘ ? ☘.

2.) 08 Jan 2022 20:04:46
I think the Oliver Kempf thing was a Celtic page scouting Germany for potential signings we should go for and mentioned him as his contract is due to expire and he was a dominant CB in both boxes.

16 Aug 2021 20:42:02
Juranovic
Scales
Lovric

This will be our three signings before the window shuts.

Edouard and Christie will be staying.

Barkas, Bolingoli, Griffiths will be punted either permanently or on loan.

1.) 16 Aug 2021 21:19:39
Would b happy with that. Hail hail.

2.) 16 Aug 2021 21:22:44
I’d like to see the Japanese centre half come in from City as well.

3.) 16 Aug 2021 21:46:37
The japanese centre half from city would make it a perfect window.

4.) 16 Aug 2021 22:07:22
I’d take that but agree another centre half would be icing on the cake.

5.) 16 Aug 2021 22:17:44
Get the 4 mentioned in and a few more out the door and that would be a successful window considering the mess Ange and Dom came in to.

6.) 16 Aug 2021 22:41:56
Those 3 players in and we HAVE a Team.

7.) 16 Aug 2021 23:45:52
Still missing a trick with Doig and Nisbet though.

8.) 17 Aug 2021 00:26:58
So Eddie leaves for nothing at the end of the season? That can't be allowed to happen.

9.) 17 Aug 2021 01:53:25
Greentree - If no team comes in for Edouard there isn't much we can do about it especially if reports are true and he is looking for £85k a week.

10.) 17 Aug 2021 06:41:30
Bubs not seen much of Doig but we are definitely missing a trick with the lad Nisbet.

11.) 17 Aug 2021 07:36:13
If Montgomery was playing for Hibs week in week out we would be raving about the boy and saying we should sign him.

12.) 17 Aug 2021 08:50:06
Liamlennon absolutely spot on! Only difference between the two is game time. If Montgomery had the same amount of games as Doig, he would definitely stand out more. Let’s save our money there, and develop our own talent.

13.) 17 Aug 2021 08:52:59
If eddie stays and gets his act together and we will the league, it's 40 mill in the coffers he can leave for nothing.

14.) 17 Aug 2021 09:03:48
Mally, with tickets and TV its over £60m. As you say, Eddie, if he stays and helos us earn that, i woukd take it.

15.) 17 Aug 2021 10:11:23
I’d take Eddy leaving on a free if he puts in performances and we win the league which will give us Champions League money.

16.) 17 Aug 2021 12:33:47
What if eddy loves playing for Ange and then decides to stay and sign a new contract?

17.) 17 Aug 2021 14:30:22
I would let him leave for nothing just so PSG get heehaw!

18.) 17 Aug 2021 18:26:01
We need a pacy left back in as well, second half on Sunday they put Ginnelly on with a bit of pace, played balls in behind Taylor and we looked vulnerable, Taylor’s lack of recovery pace is a concern .

26 Jun 2021 20:45:38
Don't be suprised if we sign two players from Hajduk Split in the coming weeks.

Mario Vuskoic and David Colina.

kinghenrik

1.) 26 Jun 2021 23:46:16
Coming weeks? Then 10 days quarantine. That's them out of all the euro qualifying games. What's the point then?

2.) 27 Jun 2021 01:14:13
What you hearing about David Colina?

3.) 27 Jun 2021 01:16:02
That’s was all last years talk.

4.) 27 Jun 2021 05:51:11
Before this CL qualifier we need CB and RB at least will it happen well let's see this week any time after that they won't be fit enough.

5.) 27 Jun 2021 07:16:25
Richard Wilson tweeting Vuskoic next week. £5million plus add ons,13000 a week wage.

6.) 27 Jun 2021 07:54:00
No teams travelling at the euros need to isolate because of testing surely any new signing can have tests to.

7.) 27 Jun 2021 08:19:59
Who is Richard Wilson?

8.) 27 Jun 2021 09:07:04
A statement of intent if we pay £5m for young CB who can fit straight into starting line up.
Even if they have to isolate they can be given Gym equipment to complete a fitness programme, they can be included in tactical meetings etc through zoom and they will have a few days with squad before the 1st qualifier.
There will be opposition teams with similar scenarios with new players with different quarantine rules for each country but some as strict as ours.

9.) 27 Jun 2021 09:14:19
I don’t believe it.

10.) 27 Jun 2021 09:18:33
Richard Wison - 'I DO NOT BELIEVE IT! '

11.) 27 Jun 2021 10:21:58
Think Ange only had to Isolate that long because he came from Asia.

12.) 27 Jun 2021 10:36:33
Apparently this guys weakness is heading the ball, that sounds about right for our scouting .

13.) 27 Jun 2021 11:23:01
If we sign Vuskovic and Colina that would be a great start to the rebuild, follow it up with Mat Ryan and Valentin Rosier and our defence would be sorted .

14.) 27 Jun 2021 11:32:39
How would anyone know what a payers wages would be for a player we are rumoured to be interested in.

15.) 27 Jun 2021 18:52:59
Tell him to go to Majorca and then fly in and he won't need to bother with the 10 isolation.

27 Feb 2021 00:39:59
I mentioned a while back about our next DOF being Fergal Harkin, I have since been informed we have held talks with 4 different candidates who have also let the club know there preferred head coach as part of this new setup.

TBH i was quite shocked with number one, but i would be happy with any of the choices.

1. Ralf Rangnick - Free
(Jesse Marsch - Salzburg)

2. Fergal Harkin - Man City
(Enzo Maresca - Man City u23's)

3. Matteo Tognozzi - Juve
(Jindřich Tripišovský - Slavia Prague)

4. David Webb - Free
(Eddie Howe - Previously Bouremonth)

kinghenrik

1.) 27 Feb 2021 11:01:55
That sounds great Number 1 for me then Number 3 if not but that would be great but I think a lot of money would have to go with those pairings.

2.) 27 Feb 2021 11:10:54
Just to add Tripišovský was brought to Tognozzi's attention by no other than Pavel Nedved.

Nedved rates his fellow country man very very highly and see's him doing big things in the game.

Just incase anyone is wondering why this would be his choice.

3.) 27 Feb 2021 11:25:53
As much as I would love this all to be true, it is not backed up by evidence, other than you claiming to be in the know, which I strongly doubt.

Whatever discussions are happening behind the scenes will remain secret. We won't know until someone slips up or we make an announcement.

4.) 27 Feb 2021 11:41:56
I just hope LaW the appointments will be made sooner rather than later.

5.) 27 Feb 2021 11:45:43
Yeah heard this type of chat the last time and we ended up with Lennon. I hope it's true but will believe it when I see it.

6.) 27 Feb 2021 11:49:49
Agree with LAW here. But 1 would be the move every fan would want given the choice.

7.) 27 Feb 2021 12:41:17
Kinghenrik, can you give us an insight into how reliable your information source is?

8.) 27 Feb 2021 12:50:20
IF kinghenriks info is accuarate which is highly unlikely but I'll play along anyway;-

* Man Itd are said to be interested in Tognozzi therefore, that's a non starter
* Ralf may be out of our reach and our imagination but he'd be my No.1 choice by a country mile
* David Webb would be No.2 along with Howe
* Fergal - No.3 (last) unsure of him and not keen on an U23 coach

I'm not convinced we should go for an untried Manager.

9.) 27 Feb 2021 13:12:31
@Tony, I think we all want the decision to be made ASAP, so fingers crossed we hear something soon.

10.) 27 Feb 2021 13:52:13
So we will end up with Jock Brown and Jack Ross then.

11.) 27 Feb 2021 14:41:37
Pedro I'm the same, i feel a proven manager needs to be brought in, all this Lampard talk is nonsense. yeah it worked for sevco but they had time on their side to build and that gave slippy a couples of years to play with, Lampard or any other unproven manager won't be given that amount of time, no manager will, so needs to be someone that can hit the ground running and get the team firing as early as possible.

12.) 27 Feb 2021 14:52:36
You forgot strachan, with Kennedy as the coach .
Wouldn’t be surprised to see the cheaper option out of the other four, although I’d prefer any of them to the cheap option .

13.) 27 Feb 2021 19:44:18
I can’t see it being that easy but I think all off them look good but most off the chat is they want a experience coach and team, in my eyes that’s number 2 out, a undertaker 21s coach and a loan manager.

14.) 28 Feb 2021 11:07:54
@Pedro, my source just passes on information with the view of not 100%, some which spot on but also some of which doesn’t happen one way or another.

I see that some people are not to keen on Harkin and Maresca.

This guy has been at Man City for over 10 years and a DoF role would be the next step in his career so I wouldn't just write him off because it's not what he has done before.

As for Maresca basically the same as Harkin, he's been assistant manager to Pelligerini for years, then moved to the Man City (EDS) as head coach.
In the grand scheme of things that is still a big job and his playing style has seen them hammer some English LG1 and LG2 teams.
A first team head coach job would be his next move.

15.) 28 Feb 2021 17:29:58
Accepted, fair points kinghenrik.
Like the rest of the lads on here, we can only hope and pray DD takes on the job of appointing a D. O. F. and then a manager as he hasn't failed us yet and oh, I want the title back!

16.) 01 Mar 2021 13:48:47
We are now going from waiting an age for our board to make the right decision. Now we are waiting for them to make any decision in time. I think waiting until the summer, with the overhaul we need, will be too late for the CL, no change there. The opportunity to compete in the CL is a major plus, not to give us a hope as has been our way for years, won't wash with a good manager and it shouldn't. 75% failure rate is horrendously inept management. Time for a change.

07 Feb 2021 08:50:27
Looks like the major shake up at the club everyone is hoping for this summer has the wheels in motion.

Dom McKay new CEO (done)
Ross Desmond new board member
Fergal Harkin as DOF
Enzo Maresca new head coach, with his own backroom team.

Also hearing that Gavin Strachan will be staying but in a new role with younger players (even with that laptop he is really update to date in the modern way of thinking not like our manager) .

kinghenrik

1.) 07 Feb 2021 09:22:05
Enzo Maresca? Utter nonsense or it should be, he’s never been a manager and Celtic is not the club to start at definitely not at the moment .

2.) 07 Feb 2021 09:58:44
What's harkin done to qualify for job.

3.) 07 Feb 2021 14:37:52
Harkin is at cash rich Man City. They would hardly have some unqualified man in that position unless he merited it.

4.) 07 Feb 2021 15:14:53
Harkins has been involved at several leaves at man city most of it to do with players recruitment, loans ect ect. Guy has a masters degree in business. This looks like the next natural step in his career.
The man city youth coach i can't see happening.

5.) 07 Feb 2021 17:10:38
I agree kev, think this is definitely the kind of boy for dof and hopefully we get a good coach/ manager to work with the boys he can bring in and they might need time but hopefully now the 10s gone we can give them some.

6.) 08 Feb 2021 01:05:36
keane as manager sorry but know way the guy is an absolute dick and in my opinion couldn't manage a piss up in a brewery if he gets head coach job then i will support my local team east kilbride.

7.) 08 Feb 2021 08:18:44
Fergal Harkin? A good DOF these days is hard to find.

There is going to be a major clear out of players with a new manager already agreed to come in (Howe's that sound) .

All loan players will go back to there respective clubs apart from Elyounoussi.
Celtic and Southampton are hoping to come on an agreement to get a deal done involving Elyounoussi with Ntcham going the other way.

Expect loads more players to leave.
Bain, Elhamed, Ralston, Laxalt, Bolingoli, Hendry, Duffy, Bitton, Brown, Ntcham, Christie, Rogic, Shved, Edouard, Griffiths, Bayo and quite a few youth players.

We are currently trying to get up to 7 players signed up on pre-contract agreements.

Marko Dmitrovic gk
Jonas Svensson rb
Tyrick Mitchell lb
Steve Cook cb
Ben Davis cb
James McCarthy cm
Ben Pearson cm

3 players we are willing to pay for are
David Moberg Karlsson rm
Nathanael Mbuku lm
Jasper Junker St.

1.) 22 Jan 2021 20:04:04
Looks like you’ve done your homework Henrik. 👍
I wouldn’t disagree with any of the players to be offloaded.

2.) 22 Jan 2021 20:27:17
Kinghenrik when Elyounoussi signed again on loan, I can remember his interview. I genuinely think he loved fact fans were desperate for him to come back. Hope he does sign.

3.) 22 Jan 2021 20:38:36
I’d be delighted if we signed Nelly Noosy.

4.) 22 Jan 2021 20:48:16
Not saying its not true but IF we are bringing in a new manager in the Summer would we really be trying to bring in as many as 7 players on pre contract? As the new manager will want to bring in his own players.

5.) 22 Jan 2021 20:52:03
Be happy with those signings hopefully not dragged on too long and lose out on most of them as usual.

6.) 22 Jan 2021 21:24:06
Be happy with those signings and getting rid of deadwood is the way forward 😊.

7.) 22 Jan 2021 21:55:10
Kinghenrik, that's some detail contained in your post. How did you come by this information?

8.) 22 Jan 2021 23:10:41
After months of disappointment and non-information; this sounds too good to be true.

9.) 22 Jan 2021 23:22:01
Doesn't anyone think big Jack Hendry is worth bringing back and having a look at again?

10.) 22 Jan 2021 23:41:05
Kinghemrick can't see that happening if Howe is agreed why not now?

11.) 23 Jan 2021 00:20:28
Does this mean the new players are still being picked for the manager?
Signing seven players pre contract may suggest Lennon ain’t going anywhere?

12.) 23 Jan 2021 00:58:35
A lot of specific info in there, that not even the papers have got a hold of. mmmmmmmmm.

13.) 23 Jan 2021 10:08:52
all speculation of course but what a midfield that would be along with soro turnbull mcgregor.

12 Jan 2019 20:09:19
James McCarthy on loan👍.

kinghenrik

07 Jan 2019 06:24:17
Deals for Weah (for 18months apparently) and Bayo to be completed in the next day or so and should be in training in Dubai.

We've not giving up on Castagne yet, bid of £6m to be made with a hefty sell on clause.

Also another three players could be coming in another ST, CM and CB.

kinghenrik

1.) 07 Jan 2019 08:45:27
Hope the Weah loan deal is an 18 month. Don’t see the point in these 6 month loans with no view to buying. At least with 12/ 18 month loans your getting the season out the player.

2.) 07 Jan 2019 09:09:43
The option to buy just means a fee is agreed prior to the loan. There's nothing stopping us putting in a bid for any player who comes on loan.

3.) 07 Jan 2019 09:13:58
All sounds very promising. Does anyone have news/ details of surplus players leaving in January - or are we building an extension at Lennoxtown lol.

4.) 07 Jan 2019 09:35:24
I'm feeling very positive about this transfer window but as with AOB the squad is becoming a bit bloated and we need to get rid of the deadwood.

5.) 07 Jan 2019 09:40:47
We will be clearing some players we do not need I’d imagine during this window. As noted by ED, Kalas/ Isimat Mirin have been enquired about. Castagne is in the works and it’s down to Atalanta, and I’m sure another couple will come in.

6.) 07 Jan 2019 09:44:53
I can’t see as many as 7 coming in. Burke, Weah, Bayo and hopefully a right back will be it I reckon. Unless Boyata leaves. If so we’ll need a centre half.

7.) 07 Jan 2019 10:53:18
Love your Optimism KH.

8.) 07 Jan 2019 11:02:47
We need a centre half regardless LM67. Bad planning from us if a centre back isn’t priority. We are definetley after a centre back. We are definetley after a right back. Bayo, Weah and Burke are imminent. A RB and CB are next. Hopefully a goalkeeper in the summer.

9.) 07 Jan 2019 11:41:32
Would love to see the back of Boyata after the shenanigans last autumn. I know he formed a decent partnership with Benkovic eventually, but he does not want to be here and when he comes back after injury, he needs weeks to get up to speed and initially, seems to forget even the basics of defending. Benkovic and Ajer would be fine until we sort out the position permanently.

10.) 07 Jan 2019 11:53:50
I can't see us not bringing in a RB and CB. I don't think BR will want to leave it to the summer when Boyata and Benko will be gone along with Lustig.
We can't go into the CL qualifiers with 3 out of the back 4 being new players. The need time to settle in.

11.) 07 Jan 2019 11:58:38
I agree we need one but not sure we’ll bring one in. We currently have Boyata, Benkovic, Ajer, Jozo, Compper, Hendry and Bitton on the books. Can’t see us adding another without a few departures.

12.) 07 Jan 2019 12:49:34
Long term Ajer is still going to be one of our 2 centre halfs. He still has a big part to play for us, this season as well as next.

13.) 07 Jan 2019 12:58:45
Compper and Boyata will be gone in this window so it would make sense to get 2 CB in now but I can only see the one coming in as we have Ajer Jozo and Benko too. Can see Gamboa leaving this window too to make way for a new RB but then that leaves Ralston in limbo so he may be loaned out.

14.) 07 Jan 2019 12:51:56
If we get Weah and Bayo over the line then I can't see another ST coming in, focus will then turn to the defence. A RB and a CB are a must this window for me. I take it our interest in Jean Kevin Duverne has cooled, am I right in saying he got a bad injury? I haven't heard his name mentioned for a while.

15.) 07 Jan 2019 13:05:39
I think most of us agree that we need a RB as Lustig is getting past his best there, but does anyone think he may be offered a new contract with a view to him playing CB? He's played there before and is more than capable, imo. His salary would need to reflect his new status though, of course. I'd like to see him stay anyway.

16.) 07 Jan 2019 14:04:08
LM commper will be Gone in this window, he can't even make the bench so in my opinion he won't even be considered to replace anyone that leaves, Henry will go out on loan I can imagine, and Boyata should never wear a Celtic top again, he has downed tools you could see that in the last couple of games, big Jozo looked better than him before he got dropped to be replaced by Boyata. For me a RB and 2 CBs have to be brought in this window and get rid of Boyata, take what's offered and run. who knows we might end up extending big Benkos loan in the summer, he seems to be enjoying his football up here. A replacement for Boyata is a must this window though, just purely so we can show him the door knowing we have the cover.

17.) 07 Jan 2019 14:17:44
Lustig or Gamboa will be off so a new RB will come in.

Compper, Hendry (loan) and possibly Boyata so we will need another CB, that would be leaving us with only Benkovic, Ajer, Jozo and Bitton who can play there.

The CM i'm lead to believe we are trying to sign is only 18 years old so won't come into the team straight away.

As for another striker, Morgan and Hayes may go out on loan Weah will probably spend most of his time playing off the left so another more experienced striker along with Edouard and Bayo.

18.) 07 Jan 2019 15:37:22
Would that midfielder be Tobias Christensen from Start?

19.) 07 Jan 2019 18:08:52
What CM?

20.) 07 Jan 2019 19:04:30
Correct LM67.

08 Aug 2018 10:41:41
Izaguirre
Denayer
McGinn
Roberts
Arzani

I would be more than happy with that.

kinghenrik

1.) 08 Aug 2018 10:53:46
Arzani has just passed his medical and expected to be announced on 2 year loan at lunchtime.

2.) 08 Aug 2018 11:22:42
Can’t see us signing Arzani and Roberts with Morgan also there and Sinclair and Forrest doing well.

3.) 08 Aug 2018 11:35:04
And Hayes Johnstone campsie.

4.) 08 Aug 2018 12:08:14
Arzani can play behind the strikers and on either wing.

5.) 08 Aug 2018 12:56:28
Arzani is a definite signing but he is not going to walk into the first team for a while.

24 Jul 2018 17:16:22
Valentin Rosier from Dijon. French U21 right back.

Have you heard anything on this one ED?

After Brendan Rodgers comments about young French players coming to Celtic and with our three French boys wouldn't be a bad thing trying to get another few in.

kinghenrik

{Ed007's Note - I'll need to ask Ed002 about specific interest - I don't know of any from Celtic and I would think he would be too pricey for us - but Dijon have signed Mickael Alphonse so Rosier could well be on his way out.}

1.) 24 Jul 2018 23:17:22
Looks a cracking player kinghenrik! Are we being linked with him? Or is he just a player you like the look of?

2.) 25 Jul 2018 15:00:34
Was told this yesterday that he is our next target along with a young Australian player called Daniel Arzani.

Apparently we missed out on a RB a few days ago called Cristiano Piccini, seems like the deal for him was almost complete for him to then end up going to Valencia at the last minute.

There not the type of country who come the person when there players are getting big moves.

Would love for us to sign him.
Mind first seeing him when we played Maribor and he caused us problems down our left hand side in those 2 games and he was only 17/ 18 back then.

Expecting Romain Perraud (LB) and Jack Stacey (RB) to be or at least one and the other being our wild card.

Its real.

I actually think some of the players on it would be cracking signings.

An experienced first choice RB and CB what we are crying out for in Smith and Jorgensen.
A back up RB which suggests Lustig could be away.
A back up LB who is a french u20 and was one of the best defenders in ligue2 last season.
A young CB who had a cracking season with Dereby in the Championship.
Two young full of energy CM who we can pick up for buttons.
A winger who has worked with Lennon before (probably my only disappointment on the list) .
two strikers one we probably have no chance of getting (Maupay) and the other (Mousset) a french u21 who hasn't really had a chacne at Bournemouth.

31 goals in 47 games for a right winger is unreal.

I reckon he'll go for more than £6m but he's definitely a player I would have if we could make it happen.

Forrest, Skov, Shved, Sinclair, Johnston, Arzani would excite me.
