If the reported fee for Bernardo is 3 million + 500k in add-ons. Then I say get him in, he is worth that and has good potential. Some of the things he done last season were top drawer. He just needs to find consistency now.

My worry is that the Board see him as direct replacement for MOR and the downgrading and profit priority continues. It happened with Jota and Abada last season and for once we need to bring in real quality in key areas and improve - especially in Europe.

I wouldn't have a problem with Bernardo being O'riley's replacement, I genuinely believe with the same amount to game time he can develop in to a player that is just as effective as O'riley is.
Got to remember that O'riley wasn't the player he is today when he first arrived.

I don't think he will be a direct replacement for MOR but could be for Hatate.

Has no one thought that Bernardo is replacing Bernardo in the squad? With the loan finishing we have one CM place to be replaced at this moment in time. If / when MO leaves we will need another.

How could Bernardo be a direct replacement for MO ‘R or Hatate . As far as I know the only people talking about either leaving are the SMSM and some Celtic fans.

Looked at Sanches videos, for 4 million euros he is well worth paying that for. Looks quick, tricky and can finish.

I am sure the people who speak of the next step also thought that would include playing for Denmark in the Euros .
I am not saying M O’R won’t leave us this summer, I just have no reason to believe all the talk, as I have seen no direct quotes from those who know.
