I thought it was a penalty for sure. It could have cost us a great victory.

I did not think his hand was in an unnatural position.
I think ball struck his hand and he raised it AFTER it struck.
I think ref called it right.

Same with their goal.
Could easily have ignored the push (and it was a push) on Hart - and we know of many refs who would have.

I think ref had a fair game today (mind you, will get disciplined by the ludge! )
My opinions.

Anybody's game but we got a clear goal. HH.

It was a push on Hart. You don't put two hands on an opponents back unless you're pushing them. What a few of them can't stomach is that he didn't need to.

The Davies handball. Not a pen in my eyes.

Without VAR their goal would probably have stood, as referee probably didn’t get a good view of it . However with VAR it was certainly a push, that put Harte off ball . VAR couldn’t miss asking ref to look gain at incident and disallow goal.

The ref had a great game today to be fair. can't remember much wrong and got the big calls correct. We would be fuming if they got a penalty for that.

Must have broken Beaton's heart calling Walsh over to have a look.

You need to watch the clip again.

Davies arms were away from his body, i. e. making his silhouette larger, when the ball hit him on the arm. He quickly pulls his hand behind his back after the ball strikes him. When you look at his reaction he knows it was a handball.

I don't think it was a pen.

But after some of the pens that's have been given against us this season, Iwata and O'Reilly spring to mind it could have easily have been given.

But it would have been wrong.

We win we win fair no need to cheat.

What you need to ask yourself in a handball incident is:

Did the ball hit the player's hand or arm? - YES

Was the player's arm making their silhouette bigger? - YES his arm was away from his body.

Was the player's hand/ arm in an unnatural position? - This is the only debatable one. I would say YES as it was well away from body.

There was a similar one last season Celtic v Dundee utd. Bernabei tried to header the ball away and turned his head to try and meet the ball, this twisted his body and the ball struck him on the elbow when the opposing player headed it against him. It was given and our player got booked.
