Celtic will need to back Brendan this time properly this summer, with a few experienced signings who can also make a difference in Europe.

Celtic have brought in 11 new players this season but yet NONE started on Saturday.

The same happened when Brendan achieved the proper Invincible with Ronnie Deila's team.

When Celtic Won the title at Tynecastle 5-0 in 2017,
Only Scott Sinclair was a new signing and the other 10 players that started that game played for Ronnie the previous season.

I have no doubt whatsoever that Celtic's recruitment will be significantly better than previously (obviously starting from a low bar) .

I genuinely believe we will break our transfer fee / record on at least 1 player (Possibly goalkeeper) and will significantly invest in other areas over the next couple of transfer windows.

We all know the areas that need the quickest improvement and we just need to be a wee patient as identified players may not be available at start of window.

The recruitment team and other areas of football department are currently changing for better.

Some of our fans want instant success but in real world this doesn't happen.

Look at Sevco. They are in a complete mess on and off park. The true blue media will tell the gullible something completely different.

The stories are starting to leak about what really happened in there dressing room at half time. ( ) .

When we are all united the club, team and fans are like no other.

Always Keep the Faith

i don't see it. our board like a close sevco. the spfl like a close sevco. sadly there's nothing to sell if they die AGAIN. i think well keep just enough ahead. but just.

I have zilch faith in our Board. I'll believe the proactive recruitment beyond projects when I see it.

Finance should not be an issue reluctance to spend is another thing. butcsurely after brendans frustration after the last window they'll back him.

Celtic I have no doubt will buy a couple of goalkeepers plus players to strengthen positions that BR thinks needs strengthening . Don’t be surprised if some posters are not happy with the window, as some people seem to think we need a new team . If we want to be successful next season we need to keep our better players, buy in some quality and develop some of our youths to play a meaningful role in first team games.

We have so many surplus players as well, so we have given ourselves a huge job to trim, ditch, recruit and replace and I think it might take at least 2 windows to get the squad BR would like.

Our surplus won’t be got rid of until these players have ended their contracts . The danger is in the couple of yrs it takes to clear out dead. wood, we will accumulate more especially, if we give new players salaries of £20k or more to attract them to our club . It’s inevitable that if we sign five such players one or two will be part of our unwanted players in two yrs.

Some of the players signed need imediate loans out for progression, scales is a clear example of that, the Scottish league takes time to adjust for certain players especially those who aren't used to fast and physical, but they don't all need to be written off, however we need improvements to take starting places off the first 11 that is a fact.

Funny how someone can make a speculative remark and it gets repeated often as if it is gossip. There is no evidence that Celtic Board wants a close Sevco . Having a close Sevco would be too dangerous game for our Board to play as having a close. Sevco would mean they would win league a lot oftener than they have . I am convinced that the Celtic Board, if it took Sevco into account at all, at close of last summer’s window, they would have been confident of having a big gap between us and Sevco . Many injuries to different parts of team, eg centre defenders and centre midfielders plus even more bias by refs and VAR officials than other seasons, brought Sevco closer to us than their squad and managers deserved.
