Not really celebrated Xmas this year, and not been on this much, but I hope everyone and their families had a great one, and I hope 2019 will be another treble, and a great year for you all. What would everyone's team be for the skudding at the crumbledome? And do you have any transfer rumours? I've seen about weah, and castagne, other than that I haven't been keeping up to date. Thanks.

All the best fifetim, this time of year can be hard especially when things are as recent like your situation. Hopefully get you back on here and the live chat for some banter.

2.) 27 Dec 2018 22:52:34
My team on Saturday although it won't be.
Bain
Lustig
Boyata
Benko
Hayes (if no Tierney)
Forrest
Ntcham
McGregor
Christie
Sinclair
Eddy

Think Broony will probably play instead of Ntcham and Gordon will play. Would prefer to see McGregor in Broonys position.

3.) 28 Dec 2018 10:38:27
For me broony has to play. This will be a war in the midfield and he's our best warrior.

4.) 28 Dec 2018 11:36:55
100% Broony over Ntcham. These are the games he thrives in whereas Ntcham has been well off it all season.

5.) 28 Dec 2018 12:16:32
I agree to a certain extent but I think McGregor is more effective dictating the play. We have far more footballing ability in the middle of the park so no need to be dragged into a war. I'm sure Broony will play and I won't be too disappointed if he does, we"ll beat them comfortably either way. 😁.

6.) 28 Dec 2018 22:56:03
Cheers everyone, and agree Kev, we need broonys experience.

I'm wary about us dipping into the Scottish market, but with the likes of Stuart Armstrong, there are some gems to be found, the question has to be asked, Florian Kamberi? I think he'd pump them in for us! Or, would he not cope in a club the size of ours? 18 goals in 34 games is not too shabby, small, fast, and has some shot on him.

If I'm honest FifeTim I'd be setting my sights higher than Kamberi. Having said that I do think he's a decent player and wouldn't be gutted if we signed him. Good movement and work rate with an eye for goal. Although he ain't small the guy is 6ft2.

2.) 20 Dec 2018 13:30:57
If we are after 2 strikers I wouldn't mind him being one and another one in the mould of Dembele that has that physical presence like Krmencik or Boakye.

3.) 20 Dec 2018 17:41:02
No chance of getting kamberi guys.

4.) 20 Dec 2018 18:18:36
What's your thoughts on him Hibsboy?

I think people need to remember Brendan was only here for part of the 8iar. We managed before without him and will manage again without him. Good luck Brendan, thanks for the memories and hail hail. Here we go 10 In a row.

Yes, it's sore, yes, they deserved it, but we are still top of the league WITH a game in hand, they'll slip up again, don't listen to all this "were on our way" they aren't, they bet a team without one of their star players. Johnstone is to lightweight and shouldn't have been thrown into that game, Christie, good but again, game to big for him, but our usual big hitters, Ntcham, brown, boyata, absolute dire, Gordon kept it to 1. Hail hail, keep the heads up, we're top of the league.

Let's hope we get Genk, Villareal, Zagreb, Betis or someone of that Ilk, tough none the less, please not Napoli, or Chelsea, or arsenal etc. Rangers fans, who are you hoping to get? 🤔.

FifeTim

1.) 13 Dec 2018 23:18:19
I'd say easiest from Europa league would be Zenit. Scored 6 conceded 5 but got 11 points? Maybe Brugge Benfica or Galatasaray would be the easier of the CL drop outs. Don't want Napoli, Arsenal or Chelsea.

2.) 13 Dec 2018 23:28:26
They’ll be watching eastenders Tim.

3.) 14 Dec 2018 08:15:57
Pity we couldn't get rapid because they're rotten.

You're on your way, you're on your way, out of Europe you're on you're way! 😊 Mon the celtic.

I'd be much happier with that kev, great that we have connections with PSG, and city, can't be a bad thing.

Always said congerton was the weak link! Even Sunderland fans didn't rate him, we should be doing a lot better than that.

Steve Clarke, let's be honest, we aren't going to make the last 16 in any euro competitions unless it's by luck, sad but true. Clarke would do us well in the domestic league, which is all we really want (the board) course the fans want to compete in Europe but chances are that won't happen much. Also, Lennon wouldn't be bad permanent, has the passion and I'm sure he brought VVD and wanyama to the club, also a few big victories in charge too, Barcelona being the main one, with Rodgers let's be honest, we didn't even beat AEK.
