A couple of points
I read that the young lad Kelly and to a lesser extent Vata were open to talking about new Celtic contracts but as usual our Board were lowballing the kids, time for Brendan to step in and make this happen.
Also with the Euros taking place, I hope Celtic have players to bring in BEFORE they start, as otherwise getting players in will probably have to wait until end Auguat which is not good.

Tim we don't know what they've been offered maybe it's a playing time guarantee they're looking for. Iam sure if they were good enough they'd have played more. maybe a good pre season an they kick on presuming they sign. or they go to a small English club or abroad and vanish l8ke a few we know.

It's always nice to get business done early but if we're going to sign anybody at the Euros they won't be available until later on anyway so don't see it making much difference.

We all need to take a breath and not believe anything we read regarding what Celtic are or aren't offering players.
We should all know by now that nearly all of these so called reports come from Sevco loving people and will do all they can to make Celtic look bad.

It’s strange how many Celtic fans are so up to date with football valuations that they are prepared to blame the Celtic Board for low balling youngsters as regarding how much Celtic could pay in wages .
I have no idea if Celtic are low balling youngsters this season but history shows us that in the past if the Celtic Board were guilty of anything it was paying all new players signing professional contracts with Celtic too much . If we had been low balling them, Celtic could move them on after our manager decided they were not going to make it at Celtic . We continuously have up to 10 mostly young players, on a not wanted list and we cannot move them on because the clubs who rate the players good enough for them, or not going to match the wages they are currently on at Celtic.

We can't even recruit a head of recruitment and that's since February? So I think new players coming in will be done the Celtic way ( wait until the last day of the window and take what dross that's left) Good old board.
