Hi gents,
I know this is a football site but can I just
mention the passing of Rob Burrows yesterday.
He along with Doddie Weir and Kevin Sinfield have raised the profile of MND firstly to their rugby conmunities and then to the wider British public.
The MND community will be forever indebted to all three.
We should not forget also that our best player ever, Wee Jinky, died of this horrible condition.

Fernando Ricksen was another to pass away from the terrible illness.

Terrible disease that for years was ignored with literally no investment to find a cure but thanks to these strong, amazing, great people, money is finally being invested and hopefully people's lives will improve.

Although not famous, like those named above, a very special person in my family passed away back in 2010 as a result of MND.
God rest them all ?
