Hopefully a keeper in asap, there’s stories of Dubravka, who I admit I didn’t mind. However, loads of geordies are calling him a hologram, and he hasn’t played well at the euros from what I’ve seen him. Especially in one of the group games, he was shocking. Hopefully we go and buy a no 1. From a team and not a reserve keeper, such an important position for us especially in Europe .

We have to remember Barkas was a first team GK and Hart was a reserve GK when we bought them however i'm not overly impressed with Dubravka if he is indeed a target.

Butland was a reserve GK, Fraser Foster was a reserve GK. Your argument doesn't hold water.

I'd be disappointed if we signed Dubravka as our number one. Guy is less than two years younger than Hart. Would rather we went with someone more long term 30 or under.

His age doesn't matter, every player we sign is a two or three year signing.
If successful he's sold and if he's a failure he's loaned out or sold if poss.
There are very few long term signings nowadays, team is being recreated season by season.
