Here is a thought guy's who do we blame for blowing the ten? The board? The players? Brendon? Lenny? Us the fans?
Personally I think it is a bit from everyone, I mean can you imagine the reaction from us had the sold Eddy, Ajer, Christie and all the others that wanted away the year going for 10? There would have been bedlam at Celtic Park, I totally get the decision by the board to keep those guat the club even although they didn't really want to be there.

It's easy for us to say after the fact aye we should have just sold them, imagine for a second the board took the decision and the result was the same and we lost the 10 again there would have been bedlam at Celtic Park. The board really were on a hiding to nothing, they were dammed if they did and dammed if they didn't.

So imagine for a second we did win the 10 we would actually be about to win 13 in a row, if only lads eh.

Agree2 Disagree0

Nobody was blameless in the 2020/ 21 season.

It was a freak season, that seen strange outcomes and results all over Europe.
Juventus also failed miserably to win the 10 that season.

Celtic are now on the verge of winning 12 in a row in front of Supporters.

Board board board and board . the new manager to an extent but he then didn't appoint lennon . Lennon could have stepped down but how many in his position would have done that. fans are totally blameless and why you even put us in that equation is to me ludicrous. so to sum up board board board and board.

DRB, the fans hounded the team bus etc. I've said on here plenty of times they were well within their rights to be angry but there's no way it helped the situation. If the fans have the ability to help the team then they have the ability to hinder as well.

We made much of winning the unbelievable historic 10 in a row . Some people were near enough planning a celebration for 10 in a row before we had even won six in a row . We had truly rubbed Sevco’s faces, their fans, the SPL and SMSM were all sick of us gloating about 10 in a row before we won 9 . Sevco were determined that we wouldn’t achieve the 10 in a row record and called on all the powers that be in Scotland to prevent us . Government and Local Gov. regulations did all they could to prevent us, even changing seating regulations for our teams return from training camp .
Sevco must be getting satisfaction that 3/ 4 seasons later we are still going on about losing 10 . It makes their loan SPL title win all the sweeter for them
At the end of the day 10 in a row may give us some crowing rights, but surely 9 in a row followed by a blip, followed by another 9 in a row isn’t to be sneezed at.

The Board, the players and manager share the blame in some way but the absence of the Celtic support played a part as well, especially after the protests, friction and attitudes afterwards.

Think I can remember Lenny complain that they were not his players. It doesn't matter whose players they are - all are employees of the club and should be trained and motivated to give of their best. As a manager of a transport company - if the HR dept started new drivers without my input, and I didn't rate them and therefore didn't show any interest in them I'd probably end up getting my jotters. So in answer to your question I would say Lenny was to blame for a good part of it.

Kevbhoy. the only input the fans have is their voice the fans invest their time money and emotions all their lives not just for a couple of well paid contracts or a temporary / full time place on the board . we have no say in running of club so when the board mess it up as they do regularly (thankfully the Sevconian have been near bankrupt and rubbish for a decade) the only way to be heard is venting frustration and anger . and it's the board manager and players who got us into that mess . most if not all fans can grudgingly accept defeat if everyone else has done they're best but fall just short.

A QUADRUPLE TREBLE was a good consolation ?

10 in a row will eventually be done but a Quadruple Treble will never ever be achieved again.

Quite a few players downed tools and there was the usual poor recruitment ue laxalt.

No one to blame, for two reasons - firstly, the world (not just football) went completely loopy in 2020/ 21, all sorts of crazy stuff happened, and just look at some of the football results across Europe that year.
Secondly, perhaps more important to acknowledge, regardsless of how we feel about them, our rivals from the south side are a comparable size of club with enough resources to wipe the floor with the rest of Scottish football. If they adopt a "1 in 3" plan, which I believe they did on hiring Gerrard, they are always likely to win 1 in 3 titles. If they started now and put everything towards winning the title in 2027, no much we could do to stop that. Just a fact. Personally, I'm ok with us winning 2 out of every 3 league titles, I'll take that from now until I die!

A quadruple treble certainly was some consolation Buzz I don't think some Celtic supporters realise how immense that actually is because of us winning so many trophies in the last 10 to 15 years.

DRB I think us the fans just pit so much pressure on the club and team to deliver the 10 that mistakes were made that season that we probably wouldn't have made had it been 5 or 6 in a row.

I also forgot about it being covid that year and the amount of strange things happening all over.

The SMSM almost ignored our quadruple treble, as Rangers2012 have no chance of succeeding with any trophies in the near future.
