Seen the sturridge loan rumour come up not for the first time. Would be a cracking signing but can't see that one happening.

Aye and he took him to Reading too I really hope not cause I think Christie could be the answer there but am no BR who we all trust in.

{Ed007's Note - I'd have Christie all day every day over Hayes, it's a no contest for me there and I'll be majorly disappointed if stories of using Christie in a deal for Hayes, who turns 30 in July, are true. Hayes is just James Forrest in 4 years.
Unless Hayes is a replacement for Forrest....... hhmmm

Nae can't c that' happen he seems to like Forrest. for me I think he played Paddy For so long is that he was trying to win him over so not sure that he would bring in an older version of what he's has to replace the younger version if you know what I mean.

I think Gamboa will be a great signing, was brilliant in Costa Ricas run in the World Cup linking with Joel Campbell, could create this kind of partnership with Paddy!
However he hasn't played in a while for WBA so give the bhoy time! It will take him a while to get back to fitness and get into the swing of things at Celtic! We (me included) are too quick to judge players in there first couple of games and for Gamboa not having played in a while it could take longer so BE PATIENT!

He was born and bred in Dublin and has never stayed in Glasgow in his life? Unless it was in a Travelodge on a weekender, and he also picked up a hamstring injury on his first appearance of the season , so wouldn't pass the medical.

This is Brendan's first year in charge brining in some signing he wants and begining to add his style of play. Look at the difference already! Imagine what it will be like maybe 2/ 3 seasons from now!

Personally think Lustig is a CB Janko more of an attaking threat and quicker (fits modern day full back role) . Dembele more of a presence in the box adds that little extra option. Forrest unrecognisable in the last few games, what a player he has become under Brendan! Toure superb at the back tonight, Brown back to his best, Tierney same old consistency from him, I could go on!
Really pleased with tonight bhoys were excellent, this seems to be a very exciting campaign!

I hope we are not a stepping stone for BR back to EPL. I do fear that with the cash down south and our limitations up here, he will be tempted away to struggling clubs down there.
He has us buzzing right now and it's just beginning.

Thought we looked weaker at the back when Lustig came off for Janko. Any news if it was a tactical substitution or did he pick up an injury?
