Hail hail bhoys n ghirls. I know the manager talk is a plenty but any players u think we should go for this summer. Personally I do like big bitton but I think we can afford to get rid to add to the new managers pot. The boy ajer is coming and Christie and Allen more than deserving of a go not to mention Armstrong is really a CM. Tell brown thanks for the fight and passion but time to go or take a back seat a bit and help the kids out. If love to see us go for a hooper type. Someone to compliment Griffiths. Sell scepovic and cifti. Surely some mugs out there will take them. Any major player rumours?

Worse season Brown has had in my opinion but still a player in there and if he willing to put he's body on the line for us when he not 100% then fair play to him wish the ones that where fully FIT gave same commitment as him.

I have this image in my head of Rodgers being named soon and ed in like a big sports coat with a big cigar quoting Alan partridge "am I right? " And we're all "you're not wrong". I am not actually fussed who we get as long as they play the celtic way. And please two strikers. Not because I used it in FIFA and fm and won countless titles (winks) but because I always feel if the one striker is having an off day the other one can dig out a goal at least. Relying on one is too big a gamble especially with the new co now among us. Just my humble opinion. Great site mate. Can't wait for the summer and wade through the fletcher finboggason rumours for something that excites me. Hail hail.

Same JimTim I tried to put £200 on it but max was only £25. Reading rumours still about Swansea so I'm relieved it only let me put on £25.

Hail Hail all. Two players made the team of the year. Shocking stuff. But true. LG there because of his goals and young Tierney there because he has been absolutely tremendous. High time we filled the rest of the squad with celtic class players. We have a squad of decent fringe players IMO. Well done to Tierney. Top class son. Here's to next season When hopefully the young left back is supplying two strikers with his crosses. One can only hope. Mon the hoops.

That should be a wake up call for the rest of the team, win the league (potentially) but find neither you, nor most of your teammates, have been mentioned as one of the better players in the league. This surely must be motivation for the others to go out and prove themselves. Or am I asking too much?

As much as it hurts to see so few Celtic players chosen - when we are the best team in the league - it's a true reflection on the inconsistency of the team and under-performing players - not to mention the poor standard of the opposition.
All season, we have very rarely played like champions or produced the quality of football the support expects from a Celtic side and although we sit top of the pile, we need to improve big-time.
The new manager should be a proven motivator and leader to come in and get more out of the majority of this squad and bring in real quality where we need it to replace the 'never-will-be's.

Anyone think we will carry on the current trend of waiting to the last possible minute and hire some relative unknown again? On that note. Any of the outsiders u rumour addicts would like to take the helm? Not ridiculous outsiders of course. But genuine contenders. with our current board I would not be shocked at losing moyes to villa and us with erik black. Not to mention ripping the spine out our team again to fund the new gaffer.

Lonesome we cannot lose what we haven't got . There is no sound reason why we should think Moyes is our new manager . Rumours Rumours, may be true but likely just something to put on a page.
The spine of the team, on the basis of recent games I am not sure we have much to worry as most of our players wouldn't be missed and probably not wanted.

Clough was a great manager, who got more things right than he got wrong but when he got the tactics wrong, he would come out with a quote like that, because in his own eyes he was infallible.

Hi bhoys and ghirls.
I'm not going to absolutely blast our side as it's not in my nature. I do have a concern though. I think it can be well argued we have got worse as a team since lennons departure in a timeframe where we were supposed to get a whole lot fitter (under the leadership of RD remembering how unfit he claimed we were when he took over from Lenny) and advance as a good possession side who pass and move with class and style so when rangers came back up we would be ready to hunskelp like never seen before. So now we face the zombie nation arriving back in our lives filling us with that gut turning old firm day feeling we had almost forgotten. Sure you may argue they are not the same team etc but to me it's the club their fans decided to follow so they are now our rivals again wether we abuse them for it or not. (let's not let them forget though eh) Full of energy and confidence and on a good run of form they are sure to hit the ground running in the new season. We however look like we have no answer to that. I don't agree with one upfront. Never have. I don't think we have bottle or any guts. We also don't have that one game changing guy. And brown is not a celtic captain. (Just one mans opinion, and it's my humble one) We have good triers. Good runners. And by celtics standards pre boruc a fairly decent keeper. But good runners and good triers are only good for an athletics club. Don't get me wrong. Young Tierney is all of that but also looks a player. That's the difference. Future captain if he plays his cards right. Absolutely solid. I do believe losing today was a good thing as now we can rid the club of the cobwebs, a real good spring clean. And more than likely now a new management team. Whoever comes in next has a bit of a task. Rangers ready to start the new season. Us lacking in every department and having to replace inadequate individuals and bed in newbies. And get used to a new style of play. So. When the new gaffer comes in, let's get right behind him and the side and hopefully we can return to those magical European nights when we actually fancy ourselves against man utd or barca.
We were not the better team today. And it's going to take time to better ourselves.
Onwards and upwards.

I actually do know he cancelled his sky lol. Believe it or not. But my mate works for them and said the whole floor was chatting about it. I dismissed it as there's probably more cartoons on Virgin hence the swap. But there u go. U know how these stories can grow but apperntly said he would have to move to his new place before phoning them back. I apologise as it's crap but actually true lol.

Knowing PL it's most definitely season ticket sales. Feed a few mistakes to the press through the odd "leak" via the pr department to fuel the rumour mill and get people excited
Whoever the new manager is I won't be excited or debating much more until I see the newbie on the back page with a scarf above his head.
