Hope we can cash in on Forster before his bubble bursts. Can't see the fuss.

jonbhoy67

1.) Wot a difference a year makes, those responsible should hang themselves in shame, or do the right thing!

2.) Who would replaced FF if he left though? Personally, I'd try to sign Alex Smithies from Huddersfield or the big lad Warner Hahn from Dordrecht.

3.) I would go for Jeroen Zoet, 22 year old palying for PSV. Would say definate sell on value and potential Dutch National in the future! From what I hear wouldn't demand a large fee.

Amid all the fuss about Superswine leading The undead to 2 titles, one of which is unfinished, is it not time that our own Paul Hartley was given more credit for his achievements at Alloa, with 'limited' funds. He and Jackie are there if Lenny decides to move on.

jonbhoy67

1.) Agreed, if Lennon went I doubt we'd attract a "big name" manager. Hartley + Jackie Mac have both done great so far, so I'd be happy with either!

2.) Neil Lennon for me every second of every minute, every minute of every hour, every hour of every day, every day of every week and every week of the year. Just look at what Lennon has done for us, this topic is really a non starter, ., .kbarry

3.) 09 Dec 2013 18:10:44
Has to be Jackie Mac for me, just because he's at a higher standard Hartley would need to manage in top league first,
But am happy with Lennon

4.) 09 Dec 2013 19:38:43
Neil won't be going any place any time soon.
He'll certainly want the opportunity of putting that mob to the sword upon returning to the top league, if circumstance allows them to get there in the shortest timeframe that is.
Where will he go that's better than Celtic anyway? There are only a handful of English sides that can offer better and he's not going to get a mention on a top 6 side anytime soon.
Anything else is a step back for me and he knows it as well.
Lets just enjoy the fact we have a good manager who'll be here for the long haul. Stevo Dundee

5.) @2 Well knock me over with a feather duster, me and kbarry agree on something, hail hail
Tambhoy

6.) I'd hate to see him go too, but for how much longer will he be prepared to keep building, only to have his work undone. If Forster goes in the January window it may well be a step too far'

The baton is heading for the HOLY GROUND. Could we possibly be the people?

jonbhoy67

1.) Hope so, we could all get up and walk out of this corrupt land, out of Egypt.
Ipox getting its numerous plagues sounds good.

2.) I think Sammy at least resembles Moses ;)

3.) Wish he could part a defence like he could the sea

What about Joe Chalmers. It seems thatt he only way to become a success at Celtic is to start off else where. plus from what I'm reading, he's a bit blase about joining us. Not the message I'd want sent out.

Thought back four especially Lustig were excellent in my view. Don't know why Keyal was taken off. Best of midfield easily.

My brother always bet Celtic to lose, and Rangers to win, hoping it would be the other way round. He was always skint.

You guys are on my wave length. Our yongsters don't get a chance. I repeat what I said months ago. All the Lions except Craig and Chalmers played first team football as teenagers.

Just my opinion tambhoy, but with just over a year with us, I don't think of him as a great servant.I believe he attempted to use our club as a stepping stone to what he regarded as bigger things. I know he was superb in that time, and that he wasn't the only one who ever used Celtic in that way, but it sticks in my throat.

I believe that the fee for Gauld will be too rich for our blood,, but that should not deter us from seeking young Scots talemt. Armstrong, May, Soutar and possibly Fulton of Falkirk might be worth a punt.

jonbhoy67

{Ed007's Note - CFC are very interested in Gauld but after being told the sort of figures EPL clubs are talking they don't hold out much hope of completing a deal.}

Best for me was big Packy, with Andrews easily the worst.

In the old Celtic Park, there were always those who generated atmosphere, by leafding the singing. At that time people could stand where they liked, and the singers congregated in the Jungle. Those days have gone, and now the 'singers' are scattered throughout the ground. This is where a group such as the Green Brigade have a valuable function. The issue has been touched on by others.Their beliefs are shared by many of us, but nowadays Celtic Park is not the place to air them. A final word. How on earth did the group manage to enter the ground without stewards or police seeing the banner{s]
