Hi Ed, i have just seen about the game for cancer that's coming up in September. Do you have any details on this? Coincidence that i see it the same day that i find out that my cancer is back. Looks like a good time to take the missus to her first ever Celtic game.

arrowh

{Ed007's Note - Oh God mate, I am so sorry to hear that. I'm sure I can speak for everyone in hoping that you beat this again and that we're all behind you 100% in your battle. I'll keep you in my prayers, may God bless you and your family and give you the strength & courage for the long road ahead.
Here's the link about the charity match:

5.) 21 Apr 2018 17:22:31
Hi Arrowh, just like to say all the best and good luck with your fight against that bastard disease. It destroys lives but there are always good news stories nowadays regarding Cancer. It's not the sentence it used to be. Keep the faith bud, you can get through this again.

6.) 21 Apr 2018 20:29:31
Sorry to hear that news arrowh, stay strong friend. 🍀.

7.) 21 Apr 2018 22:34:26
Thanks for all your prayers guys but this WILL NOT be terminal. As i said on here earlier, i have three years to wait for ten in a row then twenty years of gloating.

A belated thanks for that link Ed. I just picked it up. I have tried to describe to my wife the hairs on the neck feeling when the whole ground is singing “you’ll never walk alone’ when we played Liverpool at Celtic Park.

arrowh

{Ed007's Note - I thought you might have missed it on the banter page if it had went down the pages quick so I put it on the rumours page where it would be seen longer at this time of the season. Get her along for a sing song, she'll love it.}

1.) 21 Apr 2018 16:51:14
Walk on through the rain Arrowh brother! ☘️.

2.) 21 Apr 2018 17:23:54
Arrowh. Best of luck buddy. In my prayers. Will keep praying for you and the family.

3.) 21 Apr 2018 17:57:52
Thanks guys. I don't plan on going anywhere soon. Just not looking forward to the chemo and radiotherapy.

4.) 21 Apr 2018 18:34:55
Listening to radio snyde, Derek Johnstone is an embarrassment the way he constantly defends Sevco. 😂😂 big Sutton was spot on saying he was a cheerleader!

5.) 21 Apr 2018 16:51:13
I have had her there for the tour and for a couple of the comedy nights but she has never been to a game. I took her to a Bristol City tour and a game because her grandad played for them. She was chuffed because there was a team photo with him in it from the 1909? FA cup final against Man. U. MU won 2-1.

{Ed007's Note - Was the Bristol stuff part of the comedy shows? ;) Don't tell your Mrs I said that!
My first date with the Mrs was a Celtic v Hearts game, she was 14 and I was 16 - that's about all I can remember of the day, she got the train home and I went down The Gallowgate :-D

6.) 21 Apr 2018 22:20:06
She was pretty disappointed with the set up at Bristol City because i had taken her on the Celtic tour about 2 months before and the difference was huge. Their set up is probably on the same level as the likes of Dunfermline.

{Ed007's Note - The things us men do to get on their good side eh? You should get a medal for even going to Bristol.}

2 pluses from todays result. 1 we can now hump the huns next week and really finish off their season. 2 rangers could end the season in fourth.

1.) 21 Apr 2018 15:06:30
Very well put arrowh, I agree with that train of thought mate

But can I just say mate I really hope you beat the Big C again you did it before, you can again and hope and pray you get through it buddy

Am sure everyone can add there bit mate but we are all rooting for you buddy

God Bless and take care (Y)

2.) 21 Apr 2018 15:17:56
@Arrowh : sorry to hear that mate, as jamie said everyone is saying a prayer for you.
God Bless mate.

3.) 21 Apr 2018 15:23:10
@Arrowh, you and your family are in our thoughts and prayers. Its a tough road to walk I know, but you have done it before and can do it again.

4.) 21 Apr 2018 15:46:11
Thanks guys. I really appreciate it but i have no intention of going anywhere with 10 in a row looming.

5.) 21 Apr 2018 15:55:38
That's the attitude mate! My Dad was gave till Xmas. Stand up to cancer, Fight cancer. The wee man said I will give it the best square go it's ever had. 😂.

6.) 21 Apr 2018 18:38:36

We are looking at a full house this weekend. Levein humped. McCann humped, McInnes flopped. I hope we show the huns what we can do tomorrow to complete the set.

arrowh

1.) 10 Mar 2018 17:58:37
McCann will be back giving his expert opinions on sky when he gets sacked by dundee, after his performance today with Tommy Wright and another member of the St Johnstone staff.

2.) 10 Mar 2018 18:54:04
He was caught on camera lifting his hands to the face of one of the St Johnstone staff. The guy was about 6 or 7 inches taller than him and didn’t even take his hands out of his pockets during and after the incident. I won't be holding my breath to see if he is punished for it. Imagine the uproar if it was Neil Lennon.

Who the F sets out the schedule for our games. we had to play 9 games in December, then we get a much welcomed break of about 3 weeks. Then we play 5 games in 15 days, then we get 11 days off. Then we play 5 games in 14 days and get 9 days off. Then only play 3 games in the whole of March. Surely the powers that be could have scheduled this more evenly.

arrowh

1.) 06 Jan 2018 18:10:09
I’d imagine the gaps/ periods where we don’t play many games are spaces where Scottish Cup ties will be played. Schedule won’t be long in filling up again (hopefully! )

2.) 06 Jan 2018 18:29:54
Deadbeat Dad give me a break, do you know for a fact if he is the Father
She could just be starting trouble none of us know other than what's in the paper.

3.) 07 Jan 2018 00:36:07
different thread daz but the first line of LM67 post still worked 😂.

4.) 07 Jan 2018 00:38:24
whole LM67 post could be ingenious innuendo (if in the thread above) 😂.

5.) 07 Jan 2018 01:15:15
Meant it.

6.) 07 Jan 2018 22:41:39

Stop talking about ma da.

Hi Ed, do you think that the Caulker signing is looking likely or is it still speculation at this point.

arrowh

{Ed007's Note - It's more than speculation mate but as I said a lot will depend on the player himself and his recovery.}

I take it that he is the big target man that a lot of us have been looking for?

Our players are just not good enough, our management team are inexperienced at this level and our fitness is questionable. Are the players at fault? In my opinion, we have got what we paid for! Is RD at fault? Again, we got what we paid for! I think that it all comes down to the lack of investment and lack of ambition from the top. They are bleeding my club more than the old biscuit tin brigade ever did. When you then take into account the abysmal scouting situation, my club are in the worst state that I have ever seen them and the least competitive they have been and I have followed them since I was 5 (55 years)

@ Stevo, yes w got a good fee for him and it was good business but that does not convince me that he was a good player. Over at Ibrokes, they got around the same for Hutton ad he is, was and always will be crap. Also, the last thing that we need just now is someone with an attitude to disrupt the dressing room. I personally liked to watch McGeady when h was on his game but cannot see him training the way RD wants or him seeing "teamwork" as being a priority.
I would rather bring in nobody than risk disrupting the dressing room

I would like to see another 4 or 5 nil but if not, 1-0 and the goal comes from a deflection off Broonies bum in the 93rd minute just to piss them off.
