Celtic to make a 5.5 Million bid for Danny Ings.
This guy is banging them in at championship
level and will be a real bargin.

newcastle won't buy him. they only buy french lol everton on the other hand need a striker and with talk of aiden going there also they could be the team to watch in second half of season if they get ings and mc geady in

we won't buy ings but would be delighted if we did

3.) I agree would love to see us going for Danny Ings, he looks quick, strong, good in the air & an intelligent player but there r 5 or 6 EPL teams looking at this guy aswell so financially I can't see us being able to compete.

Am not saying he wouldn't be a good singing, but what makes him CL class anymore than any other player that we are linked with or sign, is it purely the value .

5.) Can't see them acceptin 5.5m tbh they held out for about 8m for jay rodriguez even though he was unproven at premiership level so a wouldn't be suprised if they play hard ball and do the same with ings but would be a great signing

You obviously pay more attention to what you read as opposed to what you see if you rate Ings, even at that he's chip paper down there now. Surprise factor with Ings only - McCormack has out scored him last four years- should we pay £8m for him cause he's "banging em in" as you say?

Something tells me that Leigh griffiths will score 15 to 20 goals before the end if the season. Wasn't happy we signed him but he is proving a few of us wrong.

1.) Hows he proving a few of us wrong? Stokes scored a hat trick the other week and what's he done since? Griffiths is not good enough and that's not going to prove me wrong

2.) I honestly don't get all the negativity that's came with Griffiths signing. He's a proven goalscorer at Scottish level and he's pretty much nailed on for 20/25 goals a season. The only way anybody can deem him not good enough for Europe is after he's been given a chance. I've been sticking up for him in this site since he came but there seem to be a lot of our fans think they're whiter than white and want to write him off because of his personal antics in the past. Let's judge him on what he does in a Celtic shirt and if he blows it then you can all say you were right about him

3.) I'd rather he signed a new deal tbh, you all know how much I like big Sammy, but if he won't sign a new deal or actually try when he is given the chance to play then for me he shouldn't be anywhere near the first team.

4.) Ed, I think DN30 and Darrenbhoy's posts might have went the wrong way round?

5.) Strange lol. Maybe they were meant to go that way round and DN30's getting SFWA POYT (Griffiths) and Celtic POYT (Samaras) confused.

i was one who never wanted to see griffiths here also but since his debut I think its obvious to all he gives his all wheter it be chasing/pressurising the defence or making countless runs for a diagonal pass. the lad doesn't stand still and I thought by now he would of been involved in something negative but fair play to him he's kept his head down

also since he's came has anyone noticed a change in work rate in stokes? seems to be more interested in playing for the team now and not just himself

as for lg in europe. let's wait and see cause this year ronaldo would of struggled to score for us and I believe he griffiths will prove vital in pressuring teams into mistakes

7.) I'm another who never wanted him here Kieran and I still dont. It should be a given that any player that pulls on the hoops give their all.
