Hi ed phoned the ticket office asking for clarification regarding my seat for El games re yesterday's post. Was told Uefa may want the area that I occupy therefore my seat would be unavailable for said games, and would be allocated seat as close as possible to y own.Ed watching the news today and see that Craig Whyte is being questioned regarding his acquisition of rangers,if that is the case should David Murray be questioned as it was him who sold it for £1,it's probably wishful thinking on my part .killy.

{Ed007's Note - I can't help out you specifically buddy but I know my old ST in ES1 in the South Stand was moved during CL ties as it was in the UEFA VIP area.
Get an e-mail fired off right now and get on the blower tomorrow and give them hell mate, is it in the small print that you might be moved?

1.) 01 Sep 2015 17:30:31
I was moved before and it was due to advertising boards being bigger in ecl supposedly
They may just be looking to move you to free up a few seats weird that you are far up
Are you central as this could be a VIP seating area like ed said give them hell

2.) 01 Sep 2015 17:47:26
Thanks guys will phone first thing tomorrow, marco 10 I'm in line with 18yard line ,and have never lost my seat in the years as a season ticket holder.killy.

3.) 01 Sep 2015 18:16:28
The only thing I can think is they might use your seat as an extension from the heated seats for VIP can't imagine there would be segregation even with Ajax and fernabache fans Defo get onto them

4.) 01 Sep 2015 19:03:26
It's on the Celtic website on the ticket section . It's been on it since Friday explaining the different sections that are being given up for UEFA . They must be expecting decent turnouts as they never done it last year and that was with top section closed

Just hearing that wanyama has asked to leave Southampton, saying he is not happy there.Tottenham reportedly interested in him .killy.

Killy

1.) 22 Aug 2015 23:10:10
Wanyama was questioned outside Southampton's training ground the other day and he stated that he was not aware of any interest and that he was happy at Southampton. Koeman has also stated that he won't be selling anymore of his first team this window.

However, I would like to see him move to a bigger club as I think he has the potential to be one of the best defensive midfielders in Europe.

2.) 22 Aug 2015 23:50:54
Its all in the perception,George Best was the best player in the world except he was'nt because he never played in a world cup,I think Wanyamma is one of the best midfielders in Europe, playing for a 'bigger' club does'nt make him a better player ,it all smacks of elitism,he only plays for Southhampton,he's only your average midfielder ,he gets transferred to Spurs suddenly he has the potential to be one of the best midfielders in Europe, wheres the sickbag

3.) 23 Aug 2015 00:23:07
Rabmac - I seen that quote as well but there was another statement he made later on saying he would love to work with pochettino again. I wouldn't be surprised if he did hand in a request, the team he started off with at southampton has pretty much been ripped apart. I think money has a big impact in any players career, especially guys like wanyama

4.) 23 Aug 2015 02:01:29
Don't think Spurs are that much of a bigger team than the saints surprised arsenal and Liverpool aren't all over him!

{Ed001's Note - Spurs need a defensive midfielder, Brendan Rodgers won't use one at Liverpool and Wanyama simply is nowhere near good enough for Arsenal. He has been carried by Schneiderlin at Saints and is totally exposed without him. Far too reactive to dangerous situations, relying on his pace and power to save him rather than just anticipating danger like a top class defensive midfielder would. Which is why Saints were so exposed against Everton, he wasn't able to make up ground against the likes of Lukaku in a sprint. The goal Lukaku scores from deep was completely his fault as he sold himself up the field thinking he could just get back but Lukaku was quicker. A top class defensive midfielder would have blocked off Lukaku's run and stopped him getting in position to strike the ball. He will never be a top class midfielder without learning to anticipate and position himself accordingly, especially as his passing is so utterly awful he offers nothing when his team are in possession.}

5.) 23 Aug 2015 09:08:05
I'm going to disagree ed 1, granted I haven't seen much of him in Southampton shirt, but at Celtic he showed potential of being a top player, albeit probably a raw talent, yes it was spl but in Europe against barca etc I thought he was outstanding.

{Ed001's Note - he has been struggling without Schneiderlin, and I am not convinced you can claim one 10 man defence game as a performance. It was not like he had to do it all himself.}

6.) 23 Aug 2015 09:56:23
The whole team has been struggling without Schneiderlin. Not only that they are missing 3 of their defenders from last season (CLyne, Bertrand & Alderweild), so where always going to struggle defensively this season. Therefore, this probably is not the best time to judge him.

Wanyama plays best when he is told just to snuff out attacks and not do anything else. In this role there are not many better than him and I think he is far better than Coquelin in this position. For that reason I would have to disagree that he is not good enough for Arsenal and in my opinion, he is exactly the kind of player they are missing at present.

Finally I would like to add that he is well rated down in England and I have heard many of the pundits raving about him.

7.) 23 Aug 2015 10:46:14
As I say haven't seen much of him since he moved from Celtic, but remember against barca, he was a class above Song, in that game, still only about 23 I think, I think he would do well at a team like Liverpool, but suppose Spurs would be a good move for him.

{Ed001's Note - Song is average so hardly a good comparison.}

8.) 23 Aug 2015 11:46:35
Spurs only have Bentaleb and Dembele as cover they recently sold Sandro which looks like making space for Wanyama. Would be a pointless move as I reckon Southampton will finish above Spurs this season

9.) 23 Aug 2015 12:42:17
I must be lost Arsenal have Artita , Cockelan ( meant the spelling ) who are both average. Wanyama is better than both IMO

10.) 23 Aug 2015 16:13:18
But ed that's the point, song cost barca £15m from arsenal

{Ed001's Note - yes, I can understand your point, but he was moving from the English league, which adds to the price as people believe that means they are proven at a higher level. You can't really compare prices like that. Though I do agree that he is better than Song, who just doesn't bother turning up half the time, while Wanyama, even on a bad day is always trying.}

The Malmö manager will be going home a happy man tonight after watching this.killy.

Killy

1.) 12 Aug 2015 21:51:55
Happiest guy in the ground bar Razor McCulloch.

Play 3 on the right wing and don't worry about giving us half chances.

Few absentees but big improvement needed.

2.) 12 Aug 2015 22:21:55
If the Malmo manager thinks he has learned much tonight , I would be delighted as we have proved so often that on a European night especially in Celtic Park there is no comparison between that and playing a routine SPL match on a treacherous non watered artificial pitch.

3.) 12 Aug 2015 23:24:57
old bhoy poor results are NEVER good for confidence….

4.) 13 Aug 2015 17:16:52
Paradisewon. What I meant was that I personally would be happy if the Malmo coach thought , that Celtic will play next Wednesday as they played last night .

06 Aug 2015 21:40:13
Well that's the mighty dons out of Europe, played three at home won none, say no more.killy.

1.) 06 Aug 2015 22:22:12
they weren't good enough…credit to their fans however +20,000 isn't too shabby …. football in the north is going through something of a renaissance which isn't a bad thing for CFC

2.) 06 Aug 2015 22:27:21
Got to agree bud! Done the hard work over there aswell! Decent team they were playin but that's a chance missed! Down to us as usual! Give it another couple of years and our co efficient will be at an all time low! Embarssing so it is! 3 teams out of Europe before the schools go back! What chance have we got playin in the same league as this dross! Hate it so I do! Would give anything to get out of this 2 Bob league!

3.) 06 Aug 2015 23:03:58
It's a shame we need our teams doing well in Europe! It would have hindered them from any push in the league playing in Europe! Not that we are at risk!

4.) 06 Aug 2015 23:19:51
It seems the Dons only started to play when the game was nearly over . They need to become a team in Europe not a nearly team .

5.) 07 Aug 2015 01:02:42
The dons put up a good show I europe. No one expected the. To put that other team out and I 5hink they where just unlucky tonight. Good effort though. If all our other clubs put an effort I like the dons our co efficient will Def go up in the future

6.) 07 Aug 2015 01:55:18
Agree Marco Aberdeen put up a good fight that team had Tymoshchuk in their team ffs who's played with Bayern and Zenit over the last 5 years no mugs. People forget we scraped past Kazak opponents in the past. Btw Kenny McLean has impressed massively over these european ties for Aberdeen, should maybe keep an eye on him this season.

People are far too harsh on Scottish clubs in Europe imo, remember the actual budgets the likes of St Johnstone, Inverness and even Aberdeen are working on in comparison to ourselves. Night and day.

Aberdeen did well this season in Europe qualifiers just as they did last season, Inverness were very unfortunate against a side that just put out West Ham and had tight games with ourselves last season(Astra) and yes perhaps St Johnstone should have done better but couple years ago they put out Rosenborg and this year they nearly put out the Armenians but I'm willing to bet both teams budgets weren't that much different.

People are far too critical of Scottish teams in Europe Hearts were unlucky against Liverpool few years ago as well. Hibs right enough was embarassing but still Malmo have became a decent side last few years, qualified for CL Group Stages last year. Rant over lol.

7.) 07 Aug 2015 13:26:27
I think Scottish teams have had some good results in Europe but have really been far too inconsistent and over all many should be ashamed of themselves . Aberdeen got an excellent result away but really didn't do themselves justice last night . In Norway four or five teams contribute to their co-ifficence , where as Celtic contribute almost all Scotland's

You saw in the paper that celtic were showing an interest in ciftci, that's what the press do, they name half a dozen or so players that celtic are interested in, and when they don't arrive at celtic park, the press have a go at you and the fans start slagging the board. THe only thing true in press is the date.killy.

We are a big club but as I have said on numerous occasions we are playing in a league that is the pits and is so unattractive to quality players.with the possibility of the transfer cash reaching £1 billion in England on sky earlier today it had reached £700 million that is what we are up against.in scotland at the weekend only one game reached double figures other than our own match none of the rest came any where near double figures who in their right mind would want to play in front of three empty stands that's the reality of scottish football at the minute.the modern day footballer is only interested in money and we can't compete with the epl or for that matter the English championship with their sky money that's how I see it .killy.

Can anyone explain to me why is there this witch hunt regarding malky Mackay.im not condoning what he said, and as it was between him and his friend in private unlike Jeremy clarkston and phil the Greek who on numerous occasions have used the same language as malky, and some of it openly yet it is just laughed off as a bit of banter.the usual rules for one etc.what is the difference.killy.

It would appear that tony watt does indeed have an attitude problem.from what we hear, he was quite rude to Danny mcgrain and Neil lennon, and took his attitude to Belgium which we have all read about.now it would appear Ronny Deila has seen enough to sanction his move away from the club.i said in a post a few weeks ago that he had been given an opportunity to resurrect his career at celtic, but as the previous poster said you have blown it, good riddance.killy.

Robbie Neilson,John Hughes ,only two weeks ago openly on television slaughtered two referees for their performances ,and very little is made in the press regarding their comments.Leigh Griffiths voices his opinion and they want him dealt with by the authorities, typical anti Celtic country.killy.

DH88 how can you say Lennon would have got us through against the teams you mentioned when he couldn't beat the likes of ross co ,Kilmarnock,St miren and Morton in cup ties all played in glasgow.Im not on to defend Deila ,in all honesty you can't ,but to suggest Lennon would have done better is way off the mark.killy.

Don't think anyone can disagree with all the post match thoughts on today's performance,or thoughts on individuals. But and I'm not using this as an excuse Aberdeen should have been reduced to 8 men the penalty incident ,mc leans boot on lustigs head and Hayes .Mcleans kick was a disgrace when there was no ball to be won.just my thoughts .killy.
