Anybody know y Henderson wasnt playin ,I would have thought that game would have been perfect for him to try and stake a claim in the team

2.) 20 Jul 2015 00:35:56
I to was sorry not to see Henderson get a chance It looks like he could be going elsewhere as he is not getting any real opportunities with RD real shame as he has never let the team down whenever he plays

{Ed007's Note - Remember Henderson only returned from Rosenberg at the end of June and after being injured in his final game for them, he was on crutches 3 weeks ago.}

3.) 20 Jul 2015 05:35:46
Right, Ed. I can't see RD not taking an interest in this lad as, for example, he does with forrest.

4.) 20 Jul 2015 16:38:09
Henderson nodes need first team opertunities I think we should loan him out in the SPL to a good team like Utd! U can't gain the experience when your on a bench

was wondering what everyone thought of Commons performance today, I missed the first 20mins but from what I seen after that commons was very poor and in the second half he seemed extrememly lazy. I'm assuming he's not 100% fit because its unlike him, GMS struggled to get involved as well and I think stokes showed why he will struggle to get any game time.

I was impressed with Rogic again today, delighted the lads getting a few games under the belt andI was happy with him in the centre mid role. Another positive I think was Deilas substitution bringing on McGregor, I think that gave us the spark we needed.

All in all a good days work I feel

Oh aye. and effe ambrose, he's a player eh :)

Don't have a clue how he got man of the match was poor by his standards rogic and janko impressed most today imo

2.) 22 Aug 2015 19:46:45
Gave away the ball too often , doesn't pass when players are in better positions and looked alarmingly slow.

Wish we signed him 10 years ago , could have been a smashing player. Don't get me wrong he has been a great buy for £300k but it's time to move on.

Im not quite sure how we won that game by that margin if I am honest, not a great performance in my eyes. Griffiths probably the only player I can think of that would get mention, wee forrest is so frustrating though. He clearly has the ability and he had a few cracking runs today but his decision making is horrible. Ciftci again had a couple of headed oppertunities tht were weak at best. Defence still looking bit shaky but overall I suppose its a good win.

Says it all when even in a nothing friendly and Ronnie used 18 players that Scepovic was unused sub.

2.) 18 Jul 2015 19:30:36
Forrest is Forrest. Finalbawitis, incurable apparently.

How much longer can we out up with his inability to do what he should? Pass the right baw at the right time to someone in our jersey. He is pish. Flatters to divert.

So with 4 new players in the door I was wondering what everyone else thinks we need before the end of the window. What positions and do we have specific people in mind? For me I still think we need a top striker, someone like finbog would be ideal but I can't see it happening. Either one of the 2 blackburn forwards as well (rhodes/gestede) but again the money their looking for seems to be obsurred.

Other than that I think a centre half is all we really need to replace VD who I think will leave as soon as the qualifiers are done. I seen Vlaars contract expired but i'm assuming the wages he would be looking for would be sky high.

I was one of the people who were looking for a new left back as well but I have changed my mind and would like to see the young lad tierney be the back up to izzy.

Left back - Who knows, hardest position to fill it seems! (Any suggestions?)

Defensive midfielder - Kara

Winger - Juan Delgado

Van Dijk replacement - Brandon Mechele

2.) 12 Jul 2015 18:41:45
I've seen Kara a couple of times, he would be a good signing but I think there's a few premier league teams in for him so would depend what the fee was.

I haven't seen either of the other 2 to be honest. what kind of prices are we talking?

3.) 12 Jul 2015 19:05:18
£2million for Delgado and £3million for Mechele are the figures that have been quoted in the media. I think we've done well so far to get 4 in at this stage given there is still a lot of dead wood needing shifted! I think that could be the priority for the next few weeks of the window. Starting with Boerrigter - is he not on about £20k a week!?

4.) 13 Jul 2015 10:16:49
Kara played for norwegian side Tromsø for some seasons (dont remember how many though) but was the best DM in the whole league when he played. But I would go for Kristoffer Ajer. 17 years old, captain for his team and a real gem!

Right lads, travelling to florida for a 3 week holiday on sunday. Staying at the sheraton vistana resort in lake buna vista. Any idea of any locations to watch the games during that time?

Cheers in advance :)

RsK_bhoy

1.) I was there in 2009, and its a quality resort. Make sure and look a bit sleepy and tell them you have travelled from Scotland. They upgraded us to a massive apartment round the back of the main complex which had a swimming pool to share between tens of people rather than hundreds. I remember there being one Celtic bar, but I can't remember for the life of me what it was called. If you ask at the reception i'm sure someone will point you in the right direction.

MgC

2.) It all depends on the part of Florida you got to . Best to check celtic supporter clubs on the Internet . There is defo atleast 1 in Orlando went there to watch CL qualifier think it was against Rosenbourg a few years back .(think it was 5/ 10 dollars to get in )

3.) Cheer lads, I heard there's a place called the lucky leprechaun so I think that's the place to go.

I agree with henrik to a degree if i'm honest. Far to early to judge Boyata IMO, Izzy has been a good signing overall although he's not performed for the last year. The majority of celtic fans know ambrose isn't good enough but there's no denying there's a few on here that focus on negatives even when the overall is a positive.

I completely agree, I mentioned in a post last week that my preference would have been stevie May to Ciftci, I think the fees would have been about the same and I think May is a better player.

Would this be a loan or a permanent deal? If its another permanent deal I would be impressed. Looks like we are looking at top 4 or 5 EPL clubs to see what good youngsters they have who are ready for first team football and taking a punt on them (denayer, boyatta, Janko). This could be a good strategy I think as there's a number of top younger players in their ranks who never get the chance due to the money spent down there. I seen Josh Mceachran has joined Brentford permanently after years of being loaned out, if our midfield wasnt already sorted I would have liked to think we would look at that sort of player.

Would piazon need a work permit to play up here?

I actually ment to put my post on the suggestion about Honda, must have made a bit of a balls up. I don't think we need boulahrouz when the young boy signs. we have 2 good right backs, izzy and mulgrew at left back and then we have wilson, ambrose, van dijk and possibly a youngster like frazer for the centre half positions.

Very happy that for once we have gone out and got the signings required early in the window. Just a winger and then a replacement for hooper (if her leaves) and I will be happy.

Although I would love it to be true, its just not going to happen. Teams like milan are in for him and we cannot compete anywhere near tht level in wages.

I was told it was 10% of the fee or 25% of any profit, whichever gave us more. Either way we have already earned a good amount so I'm not to fussed.

I understand your fears for our team but as the Ed says why are you bothered about that other lot?

Depending on the draw I am confident we will still bring more people to celtic park on europa league night than most others. still gutted were not in the big one though

Rabmac - I seen that quote as well but there was another statement he made later on saying he would love to work with pochettino again. I wouldn't be surprised if he did hand in a request, the team he started off with at southampton has pretty much been ripped apart. I think money has a big impact in any players career, especially guys like wanyama

My thought on this is that next year Biton will be in a similiar situation to Van Dijk. I think several clubs down south and further afield will be looking at biton this season and if he continues to be as good as he has been he will be the next £8-10 million sale. This will leave that central mid position open for the taking and my guess is that the club hope Henderson will gain the experience to fill that role as a regular next year. I think henderson has the makings to be a cracking player for us, tall athletic and can pass a ball which is ideal in this day an age. when he left I was slightly worried about cover in that area but after seeing rogic in that position today I'm not so worried.

thats just my opinion right enough :)

I was talking about the rumour YOU said.

"if rumours that Ryan Gauld is been loaned out to us?"

I thought that was rather obvious.
