Hey Ed

Is it true Liam Miller has passed away?

Kev T

{Ed007's Note - No he hasn't. Just sick b@stards on social media making up rubbish.}

1.) 24 Jan 2018 20:18:00
Unbelievable, people in the world need to get a grip.

{Ed007's Note - Ghouls, Kev, sick twisted ghouls.}

2.) 24 Jan 2018 20:35:49

3.) 24 Jan 2018 20:36:44
Scum bags.

4.) 24 Jan 2018 22:57:24
Vile horrible creatures.

5.) 25 Jan 2018 00:56:45
What is the bloody point? What do you get out of doing that? Booody awful!

6.) 25 Jan 2018 15:32:07
Fake news. disgusting to even say about people passed away etc when total fake . same as those who posted about novo heart attack on sites.

Does not matter whether you played for rangers, celtic, aberdeen, hearts, hibs, ross county etc. these people who hide behind fake names on there computer too scared to say it face to face to anyone are bad people and bring there own decent clubs fans down on the same brush yes it is a minority but it tarnishes the full club and supporters from whatever club they support it about time every decent fan from all clubs stood together to get rid of these bad ones out of our game

Good luck all the best to liam and novo.

Tierney out with a broken leg or ankle.

Kev T

1.) 28 Oct 2016 19:47:46
All the best KT! Come back fitter and stronger,

2.) 28 Oct 2016 20:13:13
Awful news, hope he's on the mend soon.

3.) 28 Oct 2016 20:37:52
Celtic saying out for 2 months.

4.) 28 Oct 2016 22:43:09
He is a young fit guy, will be back as good as new .
HH. KT.

5.) 29 Oct 2016 02:13:24
Awful news. I'm gutted.
Who did it?

6.) 29 Oct 2016 08:30:48
Big Mental test for the bhoy.
He is a stand out performer who loves a slide challenge, hopefully he comes back with the same confidence to take on a tackle.

Is this his first big injury?
All the best For the recovery KT.

7.) 29 Oct 2016 10:14:27
Don't think it is his first big injury. Sure he broke his leg a couple seasons ago.

8.) 29 Oct 2016 15:10:29
Cheers kev
Roll on a full recovery then!

17 Aug 2015 21:35:11
So ave heard loads of people say the mystery player is the one and only Zlatan!!

Comments from player and club would indicate he may well leave.

And of all he players mentioned he is actualy a regular goal scorer.

Can't see it myself but wow if it was.

Kev T

1.) 17 Aug 2015 22:28:57
Would have been hilarious if he had joined us and put his ex team and where it all started for him in football Malmo to the sword haha. They idolise him and have a suite in their stadium named after him and everything.

Personally I still think the mystery striker will be Soriano if we progress to the CL Group Stages.

2.) 17 Aug 2015 22:41:22
On the other hand there may be something in the Zlatan one,in a recent interview ,when asked where his next move would be he said it may be surprising, and he is already on record as saying he would one day like to play for Celtic

3.) 17 Aug 2015 23:38:20
Lol Zlatan joining Celtic! Never going to happen!

4.) 18 Aug 2015 00:13:13
Ha - I stuck a fiver on Zlatan weeks ago at 50 - 1. Don't really beleive it but it's nice to dream.

Could you imagine if the board came out with £10m signed Zlatan, Grosskreutz and got Denayer back. Insisting big VVD stay till Jan. We would finally have a team for the CL that's not just there to make up the numbers and should be more than capable of last 16 possibly 8.

Call me mad but I don't think the above players are out of reach for the club and deals could be done if the board made them happen. But let's face it Never going to happen but a great fantasy. Lol.

5.) 18 Aug 2015 11:47:41
We all grumble about players coming to Celtic to top up their pensions but I'd gladly take a 36/37 year old Zlatan in a couple of years if he was willing to come just to tick it off the list. He's something else.

08 Aug 2014 20:23:39
Jeff Louis has signed for Standard Liege

Kev T

27 Apr 2014 13:38:21
You couldn't make this up!

Celtic manager Neil Lennon says the Scottish champions will be losing a £5m player should forward Georgios Samaras leave at the end of his contract in the summer but has not given up hope of persuading the Greece international to stay.

Kev T

1.) In fairness I agree; if he had time on his contract that is what I would want.

2.) On the big stage Samaras never looks out of place, can be frustrating in the bread and butter issues but I agree with most, if he's not signing he shoulding be playing. £5 m or not

3.) 9 goals in 22 Champions League games over the past two seasons, including two in two seperate matches at Camp Nou. Who was the last Celtic player to have scored that amount of goals in Europe's elite competition? Larsson?

4.) If he's a 5 million player he defo won't be signing! lmfao

McGregor has been fantastic tonight.

At least your on here admitting it Kev T. More than a few should be joining you.

01 Jan 2018 09:38:09
Got to agree with Big Sutton’s comments today about the players being tired - total nonsense

Lustig, KT and Brown where the players he singled out as the only ones with a reason to be tired - spot on.

Kev T

1.) 01 Jan 2018 11:23:55
He also calls it mental weakness! A team that went 69 games unbeaten is not mentally weak! Everyone can see the players are jaded a good few of the bhoys have been playing international games as well. James Forrest has played a lot of games aswell we have a lot of fantastic managers on here recently knowing the best team selections. We will come back from this break a lot better for it.

2.) 01 Jan 2018 12:05:32
Get what a lot of you are saying but reality is the top teams with top players all play this amount of games

Ronaldo, Messi and Neymar play more and against far better opposition and never hear tiredness being used. Granted it’s unlikely these guys play 9 games in 27 days.

Just feel as a lot of others do that we are not building on last years fantastic achievement.

Today I see paper talk if 8 million in for Simo and we are looking at Hendry as a replacement - this mentality is not acceptable and will not allow us to improve.

3.) 01 Jan 2018 10:16:32
Happy New Year and all the best for 2018 to EDs and all the Celtic family. Apparently Dembelle went straight down the tunnel when subbed after his slow walk off the park rather than watch the game. Read into that what you will but for me BR should compile 2 lists not based on ability but based on who wants to be here and who doesn't. If that's Armstrong, Jozo, Dembelle or whoever punt them. I'd rather pay my hard earned cash to watch young bhoys come through who're proud to wear the jersey. Two lists Brendan identify replacements then start the clear out.

{Ed007's Note - Happy New Year mate.}

4.) 01 Jan 2018 14:19:33
A lot of our team had 2 weeks off in the summer at the most we had the cup final internationals then back for training and qualifying for champs league it was always going to be hard to replicate. I agree that we need to build on last years achievements mate and we always let them off the hook when we are in a position of strength!

{Ed007's Note - My mate sent me this from Tw@tter yesterday:

Including internationals, Kieran Tierney has played more minutes (3,607) in 17/18 than any other outfield player in any European top tier league. That equates to 40 full matches in 169 days, or 1 game every 4 days since July. Only Craig Gordon (3,780) has played more minutes. The 2 outfield players closest to Tierney are Scott Brown (3,220 minutes) and Mikael Lustig (3,137 minutes). Valon Berisha, of Salzburg, is the first non-Celtic player on the list, with 2,984 minutes - 7 games worth less than Tierney has played.

There's no Messi (2763 mins) or Ronaldo (2589 mins) even close to that so that puts to bed once and for all any talk about players at other clubs play the same amount of games as us or even the crazier myth that some play more! At other club's it usually 'keepers that have the minutes that our outfield players have.}

5.) 01 Jan 2018 16:11:17
Campsie Bhoy Happy New Year and All the best for 2018. I was down in your country at Schoenstatt for the Bells! ☘️.

6.) 01 Jan 2018 16:35:05
Happy New year mate and happy new year to everyone else! Was it open mate? I wished I had known ad have ventured up! Am in Ma bed way before it bored every year! A used to moan and say footballers should try working a 40 + week then moan about tired until I read into it all. Rest and recovery is a massive part of a players game.

7.) 03 Jan 2018 22:57:23
It's complete nonsense to say other teams have played as many games as us in this season so far .
Those who have played about 5/ 6 games less have turnovers 3 times and more than Celtic and thus can have a far bigger squad of top class first teamers.

13 Dec 2017 22:23:05
Hope the McGinn talk ends again. Rank rotten as per usual. Anyone can play a few wonder games against the best team in the country but stand out against the rest especially that muck from Govan.

Kev T

1.) 14 Dec 2017 07:03:40
Doesn't seem any better than the likes of Henderson to me.

2.) 14 Dec 2017 07:20:39
McGinn is a talent, possibly potentially, the most talented midfielder in Scotland at the minute, don't know why people put him down because he plays for Hibs. People have casted doubts on Griffith's ability when he played for Hibs.

3.) 14 Dec 2017 07:50:11
I like McGinn but that's based on his performances against us and in the recent Scotland v Holland game. To be honest unless you are watching Hibs every week it's difficult to pass judgement properly.

4.) 14 Dec 2017 22:54:15
Im on the fence but he has been the driving force in that team make no mistake. Not to be sniffed at for a guy his age. With better players round him he would go up a level again without having the pressure to do it all.

12 Sep 2017 18:21:31
Watching the youth game, some players look good and hopefully see them step up

The captain though seems to be a level below most and neither CH look remotely decent.

Kev T

10 Sep 2017 17:02:54
Ed any chance of a poll about the songs being sang as per Rodgers at Work and F Green Jhedi debate

IRA songs shouldn't be sang at a football match, end of.

Kev T

{Ed033's Note - In order to create a poll, please supply me with the question and voting options.

1.) 10 Sep 2017 17:28:43
Kev the next Rangers game at Parkhead can serve as an accurate poll of 60,000 Celtic fans. You'll here clearly the percentage of fans who sing them and the percentage of fans who don't. ☘️.

2.) 10 Sep 2017 18:06:52
I'm a trained tenor JFP so I just can't help myself.

3.) 10 Sep 2017 18:55:41
I'm on the daily record website showing bt sports turning music down. let the Rebs go loud and proud hh.

4.) 10 Sep 2017 19:16:32
ive only got a fiver.

5.) 10 Sep 2017 19:55:56
I'm born and bred Glaswegian but in a Hun part of the city which as a lot of you know can be hard growing up. I've now lived the last 20 years in the north east of England but I know where I'm from. My great grand parents came to Glasgow in the 1880's from Ireland and their stories and their mothers and fathers and Grandparents stories have been passed down. Some things are hard to forget. So I will sing what I want.

6.) 10 Sep 2017 20:20:24
Quite enjoy a bit of community singing myself! ☘️.

7.) 10 Sep 2017 20:55:58
Good man JFP.

8.) 10 Sep 2017 23:33:34
Why sing your bigoted IRA songs at Celtic? Nothing to do with football just idiots living in the past. If it was the other side you are the first to complain. It's now a joke at Celtic and I know of so many people that won't take their kids to games because of the idiots singing their "traditional" songs. Time to stop, living I the bigoted past and move on. It is all so detrimental to the club that It is embarrassing.

9.) 10 Sep 2017 23:50:13
Viking tim exactly correct. Too many offended people nowadays. Even as a celtic fan im not offended at the songs rangers sing.

Too many do gooders trying to look like model citizens.

But history is what it is and its entwined with the clubs like it or not.

Sang sing long before any of us were in our mums belly.

10.) 10 Sep 2017 23:55:01
jfp me and you are known for our community singing lol.

11.) 11 Sep 2017 08:16:15
U know of so many people who don't take their kids because of ira songs? Do these people think they'll shield their kids from being offended their whole lives. They will hear the songs regardless anyway it's up to them to make their minds up, just because they hear a song doesn't mean they need to join in or agree wae it.

12.) 11 Sep 2017 15:24:19
The point is that singing theses songs is detrimental to the club. People don't want to be associated with it. And how will they hear these songs anyway? The only place I go that I hear them in at Celtic games.

13.) 11 Sep 2017 18:27:37
Edg, you should maybe rephrase that to "I don't want to be associated with it".

The reason I say that is because if people did not want to be associated with it then they wouldn't sing them. The fact that thousands of Celtic fans do sing them, suggests that they enjoy singing them.

You say it is detrimental to the club and you are partly right here on account of UEFA fines, therefore, if people only sung them at non UEFA matches then it would not be detrimental to the club. That being said, waving Palestinian flags was detrimental to our club as well but I did not see the club complaining about that one.

14.) 11 Sep 2017 20:07:43
They'll hear them at school, they'll be sent links on social media, they might even hear them in pubs when they're older and are lucky enough to find a pub that plays them. You've lived a very sheltered life pal if that's the only place you've heard them, u certainly don't live on ma Street. 😉.

15.) 11 Sep 2017 21:17:05
Edg, there is no reasoning with these people. We were either brought up differently or educated differently. So the knuckle draggers will continue to sing their offensive songs and bt sport will hopefully keep muting it so all the grown ups don't have to listen to them.

16.) 11 Sep 2017 21:39:42
Hahaha, these people? Am no knuckle dragger. Maybe u were brought up differently and have a masters degree in snobbery but your no better than me.

17.) 12 Sep 2017 12:56:27
Living in the past with totally irrelevant songs. Everyone has moved on other than people like you stephbhoy2. I have not lived a sheltered life. You know nothing about me but as usual when people have no excuses for what the do they will start getting Personel. Time to rejoin society and until you do, sorry, but knuckledragger is the appropriate term.

{Ed007's Note - And you don't know Steph, what gives a sanctimonious tosser like you the right to judge any Celtic fan and call them a knuckledragger?}

If we beat Zenit which I highly doubt even with there break then a lot of posters can relish in there confident predictions however if Zenit win and if they win comfortably then please be quick to apologise to those voicing there concerns at the season of regression.

Another loan, another prospect

Is there a kid on option to buy like the Edouard deal. We all know Celtic won’t pay 7 million for him even if he did bang in the goals.

Musonda heard good things but what kind of price would he command?

Jhedi that’s one thing I’ve always wondered

Many clubs with smaller budgets play fantastic football even in Europe against the better teams.

Celtic though rarely do. How can we not have a Moravcik type player? Is our scouting network doing their jobs right? I know it’s early but for me Musonda looks like a McGeady - nice feet with limited end product.

Calvin Miller was meant to be our next promising attacking player? How can this lad not get his chance to shine?

Niall - just 🎣🎣🎣 mate for a laugh

I think people are missing a point we should have kicked on from last year. I honestly expected us to sign better players and go unbeaten again with more wins this season.

The drop in standards albeit still winning IMO is alarming and if . yes a big if the sheep or the monkies where a bit more consistent then we would be under pressure.

Zenit will comfortably beat us home and away - they are far better than Anderlecht and they schooled us at home and thankfully they where in a mess for the first game.

Wow, Niall stating he is fed up reading tripe.

Pot Kettle Black

Niall is one of the Green tinted specs brigade where he is happy just to be a better team than Sevco. I bet you also think we can beat Zenit!

It’s simple we have fans delighted with being number 1 in Scotland and the regression from last year is nothing to worry about and we have those who like me and JJ and many others I know who are concerned with the obvious regression and is becoming increasingly irritated by BR refusal to stick to a winning team and formation and may I add his recent interviews where he himself is talking a load of tripe.

If we all shared the same opinions the world would be a boring place

All I want is to win and win in style with a Lubo or 2 in the squad.
