Ralston? Seriously? , Lustig is a better player, more experienced and our best right back .

Its a wee point aindoh. LG has improved his around game. He has said he wants to be a celt for life. Personally I'm wanting BR to look at 2 up top or a real fancy front 3. LG will have to be able to play a different role this season for game time. Our dead ball first 11 skills aren't giving us enough goals. It's bizarre as a few of them have done it better at international level than for us.

Sorry I didn’t read it right, but regardless of that I don’t think Ralston is ready for playing in CL games for us, I think that Brendan is more likely to play Hendry at right back, not that I think that’s right either .

No chance will Ralston have the RB slot. What possesses people to think he’s ready, or indeed good enough for the CL? Wishful thinking or his agent, apart from that there is no justification to think he could replace Lustig, never mind a new RB that we desperately need.

We need the real deal both at RB and CB and Ralston is not in that class, no matter how much we wish he was. Even if the scenario of players still away happens, I would play Gamboa or Hendry and that just shows you how vital it is we get players in.

We always take an age and players hang off committing, especially if we are going for players at the WC. Let’s hope we get class. The last two defender buys have been poor. We can’t afford to waste money on no better than we have, never mind worse than what we have.

Even at Liverpool Rogers was heavily criticised for buying crap defenders, and with his acquisition’s in the same area here, is continuing that. He needs to get it right this time with players who go straight in. Another couple of projects will be an utter balls up.

What positions are we all hoping to see arrive this season to bolster our squad?
For me the top half of the pitch is nailed, Morgan and Christie will provide much needed competition, add in their Johnston and Miller to develop with our first team I think we have an exciting attacking threat.
If we could pick up a CM to challenge Brown and Ntcham then great, somebody accomplished that can pick out a pass and score from time to time, I think the prospects are already there in Henderson and Hill so don't think we require a project signing unless they fit Ntchams credentials.
RB for me is a must, somebody that could get straight into the team, Ralston I think is the future answer but another loan this season will hopefully bring him on massively. Someone with pace but have a great defensive presence.
Another CB in to challenge, with experience as again I think Hendry could be great as time goes on to be Ajers partner.
LB is a must, KT has no real back up and to be honest a project LB would be substantial as they could work alongside KT to develop nicely.
Finally I'm not sure Bain is the answer in GK position but I'm not confident another keeper will come in until next season.

So if you were BR what players would you bring in to fill the following positions?

CM
RB
CB
LB
GK

I don't think McGinn ìs the answer for CM simply because I think paying £5m for him isn't value for money.

Great hearing the dirty half ecstatic about their transfer activity, but let's face it it's just more shite replacing old shite.

No way, or will we pay 5m for McGinn. 2-2.5m plus Allen, maybe a few add ons.

RB and CB - first team quality only is a must otherwise Europe will be another eye sore this year

Sinclair and Forrest need proper competition so a winger that is capable of playing both sides would be ideal

Imo Morgan or Christie won’t be the answer especially in the bigger games and neither will get ahead of McGregor or Rogic in the 10 role

I just hope this season in terms of entertainment and performance is a few levels about last season and would love to see our strikers get the service they need and be clinical.

Gordon Bain hazard should be enough cover at gk can't see br buying another until he deems Gordon too old or past it
Think rb is ok lustig ralston gamboa
Need another lb
Ajer boyata simonovic biton commper (cover for lb? ) If we buy here he has to be head and shoulders above these 5 or it's wasted money imo.
Midfield . brown mgregor allen (if staying) ntcham kouassi (if staying) rogic Christie. like cb if buying here it needs to be better than already here
Wings. Forrest Sinclair Morgan hayes Johnstone enough here as Christie and mgregor can cover here
Fwd. dembele griff eduard. enough imo
Where would I buy
Lb
Cb 1
Mid 1 when armstrong leaves.2 if Allen and kouassi also leave.

I’d like a RB in, but can’t think of anyone that’s better than we already have who would tick all the boxes.

Centre back is an absolute must. Ideally a proven performer who will be someone Ajer learns a lot from. I’d be happy if McKenna came in from Aberdeen to learn his trade in addition to someone who will be a first team starter straight away.

John McGinn is the most common sense signing we could make - but have heard a few English clubs have expressed an interest who’ll offer £5m+, while Celtic don’t seem keen at all. Hope this changes, I’m sure a deal could be done between the clubs that could be mutually beneficial.

Another create midfielder would be nice as well, would be a real sign of intent that we are going for it in Europe. Meltdown across the city would likely see Murty back in charge for Halloween.

I am worried if we are depending on someone who wasn't deemed good enough last year for our coaches to develop to be a good stand-by player for us last season and also someone we haven't seen in the hoops.
I am amazed how so many of us know exactly how much a possible target is worth and how much we should pay . At the end of the day, surely if we really want a player and his club wants to sell, then we have to pay the price.

I heard £2.5m + Alan and we would loan McGinn back till next season.

A left footed solid cb that has pace and can cover LB if needed. If we find one then it solves a few problems. That's my non negotiable transfer target. We can limp through, and will in other areas.

Centre back, Right back a total must. Someone to fill the squad gap of Armstrong, wee Paddy after he realises he wants to come back. Rogers went for Masonda for more creativity so that went tits up so he may still be looking and if so hopefully a player who doesn’t look like an under 14 player.

Defending on what big Moussa does another striker if he leaves, fingers crossed he stays.

Would still like a goalie but that will never happen.

Mcginn could come in to replace Stuart too.

But a Centre back and right back or Europe will be another couple of games getting our stars handed to us, and qualification will be more treacherous. Get them in soon please.
