Caught a bit of gossip from Embra, McGinn to Celtic for 2.5m plus Allen and add ons. Hibs also want a loan deal on a younger player. Hibs fan so who knows.

Kouassi, Miller or Henderson maybe?

2.) 13 May 2018 11:08:14
Kouassi!

3.) 13 May 2018 11:14:53
Oh and the Hibs boys fancy a 6-0 v sevco! What a laugh if they got three inside 60-70 minutes!

4.) 13 May 2018 17:49:34
Give them £2m, Allan and Hayes plus Christie on loan .

5.) 13 May 2018 19:51:57
i just spoke to John's girlfriends granddad there in the pub, there has been no offer off Celtic yet, but it would be more than welcomed.

6.) 16 May 2018 23:53:00
Would take £3m and Alan.

okay so we learned something today. Firstly if your a Celtic player you must be amazed at the esteem Henrik is held in, it's astonishing. That's what you get if you commit to the cause.

Second. Young keeper, thought he looked very good, been hearing his name for a while and excellent with his feet. Kouassi i thought looked very sharp, lovely work for the goal, there's a big player in that kid.

Reagan Hendry? Kept him quiet. looked a real talented boy with a lovely balance to him. This is a young team, growing together, they will make mistakes, but things are really bright.

fgjmarktwo

{Ed007's Note - Commit to the cause, are you having a laugh? Larsson was here for 7 years and after 6 he lied to the board, the board also lied to him and he cost the Club millions in a transfer fee and who ended up out of pocket - the fans as usual.}

1.) 20 May 2018 21:44:10
I agree the transfer thing was shady but my point was really more about the mindset of us. Any ex player who done it on the pitch, and he did, will always get a warm welcome. Compare the deal with Dalgleish leaving and it does not look good for example.

2.) 21 May 2018 16:03:19
jack hendry.

20 May 2018 16:33:36
Sorry to say it but Henriks finished.

He's still better than Morales ha ha.

2.) 20 May 2018 18:06:22
He’s nearly 47 lol.

Over the fifty odd years i have been following Celtic there have been some amazing moments and some serious downers. From Lisbon, which i just about remember, to the 1969 cup final when we towed rangers (il) 4-0,it was my first cup final, to ten men won the league to the Centenary double.

Flip side? Watching a dismal bunch of chancers nearly kill us through ineptitude and the tax cheating rise of rangers (il) . It was tough, at times it seemed it would never end, but we have been clever and shrewd and well managed fiscally. We are now living in payback, idaho. population EVERY TIM.

Some day, domestically this team will lose a trophy, just think about even saying that with a straight face, but when that happens they will still be the double treble team, still the invincibles. Players come and go from great clubs, some are legend some are forgotten, these guys will always be revered.

At the end yesterday, i allowed myself a moment of reflection and thought back to the ten year old me crammed in the Celtic end, with my aul Da and my (she loved the Celtic) , who thought it was always like this. It has not, but it has been joyous and sad and uplifting and depressing and always worthwhile.

I am not ashamed to say i had a tear in my eye yesterday, not all about the sadly passed old folks, not even entirely about Celtic. More a mix of everything because that's who and what we are. There is a few clubs worldwide who have that fan connection, we are one.

So thanks Celtic for always being there and delivering memories like yesterday.

I know exactly what you're saying Green Jedi. I recently turned 62 and have all the same feelings emotions, memories and love of Celtic.
Little did I know then, that when the auld-man first lifted me over the turnstyle when I was 6, it was going to have such a powerful impact and influence on my whole life; like all of us on here.
The bad times are hard to bear, but make the glory all the sweeter.
We are part of a very unique and fortunate Celtic family HH.

Right Toms song, found it, sadly not my work.

Waltzing midfielder, waltzing midfielder,
Rogics the waltzing midfielder for me
We sang and we watched and we waited till he scores again
Rogics the waltzing midfielder for me.

Beat that! Instantly linked with the tune. Clever stuff.

4.) 18 May 2018 14:07:35
A wee one I thought of to the tune of men at work

He comes from the land down under
Six foot two and full of hunger
When he scores you can hear the thunder
You better run, you better take cover!

Tried to get hunskelper in there but my song writing skills are not my best trait! Lol!

5.) 18 May 2018 15:09:32
What about

Hunskelper from the land down under

As the first line?

6.) 18 May 2018 15:22:43
Like that! I'll split the royalties with you. 95-5?😂😂.

7.) 18 May 2018 15:35:21
Six foot two and he ain't no hun ger.

That will be 95-5-5 Rab 😂.

8.) 18 May 2018 15:45:59
Calm doon Stan. Afraid that didn’t make the final edit. :)

9.) 18 May 2018 15:59:11
Rab got a good deal there 10% down and still gets 95% haha.

10.) 18 May 2018 19:11:09
Aye he will go far. Worse than Sony regarding royalties. :)

11.) 20 May 2018 17:37:16
what about the old Men At Work Song, He Comes From The Land Down Under.

I wonder what is in Armstrongs mind. The one thing about this team that's very noticeable is they are a proper team. On and off the pitch they do seem to have a bond, watch any goal celebration, if i was Stuart i would be very careful of my choice of club.

1.) 18 May 2018 08:21:00
Was thinking about his situation last night. I rate him very highly and would love him to stay long term but if BR is aware that he wants to play elsewhere he should be sold this summer. Others have signed up and it creates a feel good factor at the club. If SA does not want to be part of that then good luck to him. He has had some great moments in the hoops we will wish him well and move on.

2.) 18 May 2018 08:37:34
Spot on mate. Unfortunately Armstrong doesn't have Celtic in his blood and unlike players who have joined and then taken the club into their heart (like Brown and Lustig) he probably has always seen Celtic as a stepping stone to a so called better league and doesn't express the same emotions as those two when celebrating. That may just be his demeanour though.

I hope I'm wrong and he signs on for a longer term but I feel he will be gone in the summer.

Happier that Rogic has signed in truth.

3.) 18 May 2018 13:10:44
Armstrong will move. I hear its to Germany, read it somewhere last year but can't remember where? Think it was Bremen or Dortmund but may be way wrong? Rogic signed so over the moon. Think Dembele will still be with us but he needs to regain form. Hope we tie down Edouard. Need a sold centre back and a right back. Both difficult to find. I would be happy with that then clear out the ones we don't want but use the money to buy 3 class players not projects and we will be fine.

4.) 18 May 2018 13:36:19
He is my favourite player. Hope he stays.

5.) 20 May 2018 17:38:09
Theres a good chance tory bhoy wil leave.

Agreed, but. You cannot fault anyone for chasing cash, it's a short earning span so anyone would, far less guys who were not Celtic fans as kids. Some put contentment and a settled family life before cash.

As long as someone does their job to 100% in our shirt i wish them luck.

Thats fine mate because windyass will go for three plus add-ons. In fact some think they should hold out for five. that's the level of rank stupidity we dealing with here.

@RAW. Kinda swaying to that side of it mate. Big call so the wife must be happy for a start. Maybe a young Rogic born here soon would also help!

What worries me is that Robertson was let go. Surely the days of too small are over? Apparently the boy always looked like a player.

Actually your wrong mate. The rangers (il) strip was from greigs testimonial. He got into Celtic through Dalgleish and then when introd to Jock.

Yea, well played ED. Ten years, must be time for the Tommy Burns Academy. Forever etched in Celtics history, just what he would have wanted.
