BR linked with Leicester.

1.) 16 Jan 2019 11:45:24
Can't see it but maybe will put a little pressure on lawwell to splash a bit but then again we can't compete with Leicester.

2.) 16 Jan 2019 12:39:02
Theres no way he would leave during season. Loves club too much to do that. Also I think this is bull as media are trying their hardest to unsettle us.

Yesterday I noticed Daily person transfer centre online opening paragraph put celtic and rangers in order "rangers and celtic". Rule of thumb with grammar is to list items in alphabetical order, but when its comes to old firm supporters tend to mention their club first. Also we are the champions so it would make sense to mention us first. Point I'm making is, this is what we are up against with media. Total biast attitude against us, will print any crap in hope it unsettles us. Really want this league title more than stopping them getting 10 in a row.

3.) 16 Jan 2019 14:55:59
It would be easier to list the clubs he hasn’t been linked with in the last couple of years.

Some bad tackles tonight, Izzy looked in pain hope he recovers quickly.

1.) 06 Feb 2019 21:39:36
That was a shocker could have been red.

2.) 06 Feb 2019 21:54:26
Too many dangerous challenges, I love a good tackle but in the modern game the speed of the play makes a bad tackle look worse, not sure what Scott was playing at with his high tackle after spinning and losing control of the ball, that also could of been a red, we need the bhoys to keep clear focused heads, we don't need players missing for discipline issues when we are suffering so badly from injuries.
On a more positive note it was a great match, the attacking threat Weah and Burke have brought to us is just an absolute joy to watch, Jeremy was great at RB, and finally Scott Bain is establishing himself well, he is far better on the ball than Gordon, makes BRs philosophy of playing from the back much easier with him starting the play.
Let it continues HH.

3.) 06 Feb 2019 22:03:44
If that linesman can't see that tackle is red then he has no business near any football match. It's a shocker of a tackle on Izzy. Not even close to any ball and miles over the top. Definate red.

4.) 07 Feb 2019 00:12:35
bbc report on the game mentioned izzy stretchered off after challenge.
Yet reporter said Brown was lucky not to see red for a nasty challenge.
Both were reckless but you wonder how the reporter can say Browns challenge is nasty and could have seen red yet the hibs man just put a challenge in.

31 Jan 2019 19:36:43
Does anyone else think it strange Lewis Morgan going out on loan? I thought pre season he looked excellent, I hope he gets a fair chance at the start of next season I think he could do a great job.
Also what's happening with Kouassi? I again thought he looks good when he plays, not startling but he never gets a chance to have a bit on continuous game time to develop further, what's your thoughts?

1.) 31 Jan 2019 19:54:35
Koassi is always injured.

2.) 31 Jan 2019 19:56:42
Both have potential but I'd much rather see them go out on loan to a SPL side. It gets them used to our teams plus they play against Sevco and not us. Done wonders for Christie.

3.) 31 Jan 2019 20:01:17
Kouassi not out with long term injury? I think for the season.

4.) 31 Jan 2019 20:12:13
Kouassi blew knee ligaments.

5.) 31 Jan 2019 20:50:32
Really not sure what all the talk about kouassi every time I see him he flatters to deceive more muney waisted.

08 Jan 2019 13:14:16
So who should we try to get in as defensive reinforcements, any ideas? I hope we don't look at loans we want signings, players that are on form in their current league, playing games making a difference.

1.) 08 Jan 2019 13:58:20
Portous from Hibs
Part exchange Allen and loan Morgan.

2.) 08 Jan 2019 14:27:09
Porteous is a great shout but unlikely to be allowed to leave offer cash plus Allen and Hayes. and make an obscene offer for Mckenna these two plus Ajer our defensive partership for years to come.

3.) 08 Jan 2019 14:43:48
Surely to god there are other options a lot better for what we would need to pay for him.

4.) 08 Jan 2019 15:10:11
McKenna is a cart horse. He is shocking. Another collin Hendry.
We need better than any CB that's plying their trade in our league at the moment because all the best ones at park head right now.

5.) 08 Jan 2019 15:13:55
Not sure why we would look at SPL for players - other than price. We have done very well in the past picking up a decent standard of defender in Scandinavia and Europe and there must be better options out there, if our 'scouts' earned their salt?

6.) 08 Jan 2019 15:18:33
Porteous has stuck out in a couple of the Hibs games this season, and based on what I've seen if we're buying another defender from this league, I'd rather we stuck in a bid for him than McKenna.

Don't doubt we could do something with McKenna, but I don't see a £7m defender there - what kind of wages would he be on with that fee?

I know he's a bit of a one off but Van Dijk was only £2.5m, must be other options out there we can develop.

7.) 08 Jan 2019 15:39:40
Wouldn't touch McKenna with a sh. t. y stick. There's got to be better out there.

8.) 08 Jan 2019 16:25:38
We shouldn't be signing players from our league as we regularly beat domestic teams with ease that had these player's. For example Hendry, Hayes, Mulumbu, Morgan, Alan all looked the part but when they pull on the hoops they flatter to deceive. Christie is about the only player who has shown his worth. Our Defence needs a complete overhaul this window and the next. Commper hopefully leaves. Hendry loaned out. Boyata will be away at some point. Benkovic away in the summer. Lustig and Izzy are past their best.

13 Dec 2018 21:39:38
I can't believe what I've just seen, he's pulled off some cracking saves then does that, I was just about to post saying how frustrating big Ed can be with his poor hold up play, but not half as frustrating as that error, hope RC is ok HH.

1.) 13 Dec 2018 21:43:48
We need rosenborg help now. Never scoring tonight. We could play all night and not score, even ajer is making goal line clearance for salzberg.

{Ed007's Note - Rosenborg have equalised......

2.) 13 Dec 2018 21:54:30
Full time 1-1. Thank feck.

3.) 13 Dec 2018 21:57:40
I tell you what if we had have went out tonight there'd have been no complaints from me. But we haven't, so there's still no complaints! COYBIG.

4.) 13 Dec 2018 23:56:45
Jim that was a tough group and we did great to qualify. I hate all the negativity just be glad to get thru, would it be better if we didn’t? Hail Hail.

5.) 14 Dec 2018 06:00:41
Ofcourse it wouldn't Tam. On the night we were poor and I don't think many would have predicted a down and out Rosenborg to get a result in Germany. With 5 mins to go it looked like we were out but the group doesn't lie and last 5 minutes suddenly become part of the several week campaign. We deserve to go through and it's a good achievement.

24 Jun 2018 10:14:55
What positions are we all hoping to see arrive this season to bolster our squad?
For me the top half of the pitch is nailed, Morgan and Christie will provide much needed competition, add in their Johnston and Miller to develop with our first team I think we have an exciting attacking threat.
If we could pick up a CM to challenge Brown and Ntcham then great, somebody accomplished that can pick out a pass and score from time to time, I think the prospects are already there in Henderson and Hill so don't think we require a project signing unless they fit Ntchams credentials.
RB for me is a must, somebody that could get straight into the team, Ralston I think is the future answer but another loan this season will hopefully bring him on massively. Someone with pace but have a great defensive presence.
Another CB in to challenge, with experience as again I think Hendry could be great as time goes on to be Ajers partner.
LB is a must, KT has no real back up and to be honest a project LB would be substantial as they could work alongside KT to develop nicely.
Finally I'm not sure Bain is the answer in GK position but I'm not confident another keeper will come in until next season.

So if you were BR what players would you bring in to fill the following positions?

I don't think McGinn ìs the answer for CM simply because I think paying £5m for him isn't value for money.

Great hearing the dirty half ecstatic about their transfer activity, but let's face it it's just more shite replacing old shite.

1.) 24 Jun 2018 10:59:26
No way, or will we pay 5m for McGinn. 2-2.5m plus Allen, maybe a few add ons.

2.) 24 Jun 2018 13:08:16
RB and CB - first team quality only is a must otherwise Europe will be another eye sore this year

Sinclair and Forrest need proper competition so a winger that is capable of playing both sides would be ideal

Imo Morgan or Christie won’t be the answer especially in the bigger games and neither will get ahead of McGregor or Rogic in the 10 role

I just hope this season in terms of entertainment and performance is a few levels about last season and would love to see our strikers get the service they need and be clinical.

3.) 24 Jun 2018 13:38:25
Gordon Bain hazard should be enough cover at gk can't see br buying another until he deems Gordon too old or past it
Think rb is ok lustig ralston gamboa
Need another lb
Ajer boyata simonovic biton commper (cover for lb? ) If we buy here he has to be head and shoulders above these 5 or it's wasted money imo.
Midfield . brown mgregor allen (if staying) ntcham kouassi (if staying) rogic Christie. like cb if buying here it needs to be better than already here
Wings. Forrest Sinclair Morgan hayes Johnstone enough here as Christie and mgregor can cover here
Fwd. dembele griff eduard. enough imo
Where would I buy
Cb 1
Mid 1 when armstrong leaves.2 if Allen and kouassi also leave.

4.) 24 Jun 2018 13:42:06
I’d like a RB in, but can’t think of anyone that’s better than we already have who would tick all the boxes.

Centre back is an absolute must. Ideally a proven performer who will be someone Ajer learns a lot from. I’d be happy if McKenna came in from Aberdeen to learn his trade in addition to someone who will be a first team starter straight away.

John McGinn is the most common sense signing we could make - but have heard a few English clubs have expressed an interest who’ll offer £5m+, while Celtic don’t seem keen at all. Hope this changes, I’m sure a deal could be done between the clubs that could be mutually beneficial.

Another create midfielder would be nice as well, would be a real sign of intent that we are going for it in Europe. Meltdown across the city would likely see Murty back in charge for Halloween.

5.) 24 Jun 2018 15:12:52
I am worried if we are depending on someone who wasn't deemed good enough last year for our coaches to develop to be a good stand-by player for us last season and also someone we haven't seen in the hoops.
I am amazed how so many of us know exactly how much a possible target is worth and how much we should pay . At the end of the day, surely if we really want a player and his club wants to sell, then we have to pay the price.

6.) 24 Jun 2018 16:45:55
I heard £2.5m + Alan and we would loan McGinn back till next season.

7.) 25 Jun 2018 01:54:10
A left footed solid cb that has pace and can cover LB if needed. If we find one then it solves a few problems. That's my non negotiable transfer target. We can limp through, and will in other areas.

I think Dominic Iorfa could be a great bit of business, we should also probably pay a small fee to get him released from his contract early, however because lustig is still here and Ralston in contention we most likely will wait till the summer.
Iorfa played a big part in helping wolves get promoted, and at one point was wanted by a host of clubs.
BR might be the man to turn him into the player he was set to become. He's still young and versatile.
If rather we spent our money on someone like benkovic and get players like Iorfa in on a free.
As I've said before there is all sorts of hidden gems going cheap in eastern Europe, hopefully Baso will come in and prove that we can scout Eastern Europe leagues and get good deals.
No point spending big and it turns sour, it happens to plenty of clubs
Start giving our young lads a chance as well, Ralston first choice RB for rest of the season he will only grow as a player.

There's no chance that mbemba will be any good, why would Porto want rid of him so quickly? Who would replace Ntcham if you let him go?
I would ask for more, Porto have the money, and in this inflated market we would get 18-20, buy benkovic outright and get some players cheap from the Eastern European leagues that we can sell on in the future, I've been checking midfielders with good attributes
AMC Tsonev 23 FC Beroe G7 A7
MC Travnik 24 FK Jabloneka G8 A7
AMC Mitrita 23 CSU Craiova G12 A4
We could probably get all 3 for 7 million and would make a great profit on them
And I'm sure there's plenty CBs cheap over there as well.

It's on HITC. com.
I actually think he has plenty potential, speed power and versatile, can play def mid, CB or RB.
Rodgers could probably unlock a great player here, but Leeds look interested in getting him on loan for their title push.

Been watching arzani videos on YouTube myself and the lad looks a genuine talent, speed, trickery, confident, would be perfect to challenge Forrest.

Watched a few highlights of the reserves, McInroy looks A right player, Karamoko is quality, for such a wee lad he looks so accomplished with the ball, very clever.
Future looks bright with the youth coming through, Aitcheson, Oko-Flex another 2, we may not need to spend big in the future, what do the rest of ya think?

Exactly kevbhoy, I do like listening to talk sport, but Durham pisses me off that much I start shouting at the person radio and my hemeroids start making a reappearance, he definitely gets the reaction he's after, and after my outburst I realise the person has just got another over on me by making me react, at the same time hearing ally mccoist eat humble pie and admit celtic are playing good football balances out my mood immensely.

I think Gerrard will be there for a couple seasons, he needs to build his reputation and I think jumping ship after 1-2 seasons, unless a top club came sniffing for him, would not leave a good impression.
If BR has been backed by the board for signings and chose Hendry, Gamboa and Compper as his top list of defence reinforcements then the man is clearly not a great talent spotter. Hendry might prove us wrong but not the other 2.
I think to be fair it's the same amount of youth players coming through as in the past like mcgeady Wallace odea error.
I think we have the potential to field more if they were given more of a chance than some of the absolute rubbish so have signed.
