Idah is on £23k a week and has 4 years left on that contract.
For once the transfer fee is the problem and not the wages.

It’s great news if we get this done, boy has something and has development still to do, those critical of the offer or worse already mentioning Pl need to calm down and let club do what’s needed, personally I’d look at a free agent keeper this year, cb, lb, wide player, replace any 1st team sold, and no1 priority a solid cdm, and we need about 7 out the building and another few out on loan.

I don't fancy the Board but at any level of negotiation, you don't show your hand right away. Look at it positively, with any money saved through robust but realistic negotiations, that will fund our next Scandinavian project. You never know, it could be someone half as good as Henrik or Mjallby.
