Feel sorry for the lad, he is a decent player but didn't get a chance to prove how good he can be. Unfortunately that happens when you come to a club like ours, you have to hit the ground running or you don't get game time, you get loaned out or sold.
Now BR is going to get the chance to build his own team, the players he did not ask for are probably all heading for the exit doors, like Lager and Narowski.
We have players we really need to get rid of and can't, which is frustrating when players that looked decent are heading out the door.

The wee man was carrying a shoulder injury and come January, with the league too close for comfort, we brought in Idah, who was playing in the reserves at Norwich, and he blew OH out the water.

I wouldn’t be too sure about the £4m bid on OH by Ghent as window doesn’t open for two and a half weeks .
If by chance figures quotes for M Johnstone and OH, £6 and £4m respectively are actually correct and are borne out by other players of similar talent sold at same sort of price, maybe we will have to pay £10 m and more for a player we expect to do a good job for us.

I am the same. We simply can't afford to spend £10m on a player to sit in the stand for a good part of the season, no matter who he is, or how good he is. Having said that, if any assurances can be given in a loan to buy deal I'd be all for it.

Every club on earth puts in an opening bid. Geez peace, man! They will either accept £5m or we move on.

Ridiculous post. No one was complaining in '94 when Fergus and John Keane saved us. Since then we have splashed money a few times. most notably to find the MON era. We are a great club run properly. Lots of money being spent on infrastructure. I have no doubt we will spend big this window (By our/ Scottish standards) . Lawwell has to go. Not going to bore people but the man should just go!

I agree with you mate, and would love to see it. However, we will not have top European players at Celtic. We just won't pay the money, and to be honest. should we?

Yeah, the blonde one was definitely the worst. Still can't believe what he did. I was 15 years old and our modern studies teacher told me days before it was going to happen. I told him he was talking pants! No wonder he now resides in the USA. Reviled!
