There were a few turning points (disallowed goal, Referee/ Assistant mistakes) in the game but Hearts were well organised and had a plan. They knew we would tire in the last 15/ 20 minutes after midweek and we were chasing after that first goal. Lots of movement - did anyone else see Ralston’s touch map?
We had so much of the ball but the penetration wasn’t quite there obviously. I have read quite a bit of criticism of players such as Abada and Starfelt. Given a more settled team I think they would have slotted in perfectly. Same for Kyogo. Abada is still very young and I think he will be a tremendous player. Starfelt looked good! He made a mistake (s) but wow, he had 1 session with his new team in difficult conditions! I reckon he will settle well and same for Kyogo.
