Hi bhoys and ghirls hail hail, ed what do you think about Ryan Jack from Aberdeen versite defender/midfielder young home grown talent would be an excellent addition to the squad (espiceley) if Matthews goes back to Cardiff? P. s love the site long time reader first time poster {Ed007's Note - Welcome to the sites David.}
1.) I think Matthews and Ledley have been massive signings for us and are our Mr Dependables.
I don't think he would be a direct replacement for Matthews, does RJ not mostly play midfield?
He is quite a mature footballer for his age but I think we need a creative midfielder. An out & out commanding defender is a must for me in the Summer, I can't believe the amount of goals we have gifted this season ~ Mrs E
2.) Personally I think we should be aiming a bit higher than that.

3.) I think he's great I've seen him a few times 'with the Scotland U21's but would he get a game? I think he's one to keep an eye on but not to sign yet?
4.) There has got to be better out there,

Personally I don't think any of them will be leaving in the summer, especially ledley, he's got to be the guy that replaces wanyama and get us a guy for the left side of midfield, creative player is a must and that's where the young lad mackay steven would be a good signin for, he's fast, tricky to deal with and most importantly goes at players with no fear, will make mistakes along the way but he is still young and has potential. I agree with Mrs E with the defender we need to get a balde type that strikers and midfielders will see and fill their breeks, we haven't been too bad in defence, I just think 1 of them needs to be sent packing and replaced Ambrose needs to go, he started off well but has just went downhill since the barca games, even before the barca games he cost us a few points in the league with dilly dallyin on the ball, giving it away with ease etc I don't know who we could sign, but there has to be someone better than him out there somewhere! So as for ryan jack, I don't think we need him, would much rather see a tricky, creative midfielder that will open up a defence or atleast go at a defence and cause problems.

6.) Agree with S, Ledley could replace Vic and we should concentrate on getting a more creative wide player

7.) Why would Matthews want to leave? Yes, we'll be losing the likes of Hooper and Wanyama, possibly one or two others too, but Ledley and Matthews just concentrate on playing. And why isn't Ledley captain when Brown is out? And I hope Stokes gets a new contract. Sean
