celtic have made a surprise inquiry about adam le fondre the 24yr old who has scored 106 goals in 263 games has been watched by the celtic scouts and has had a glowing report with his pace and his finishing ability rotherham are looking for 400k... also panathinikos have been interested in samaras with the greek wanting to return home the fee roughly between 1.5m and 2m being mentioned..
also heard a wee rumour about timo hilderbrand coming as he is a free agent the 32yr old wants to be at a top club... you heard anything on these ed?? {Ed007's Note - I thought Hilderbrand was wanting to go back to Germnay, he was on the radar as a potential but I thought it was just that.}

Would take the hand off anyone willing to pay 2 million for Samaras. Just hope we can bring some quality in if he goes {Ed007's Note - They can keep their hand, just give us the £2 million!}

I'm sure we were linked with Hildebrand last year. Not sure if we made a move for him though.

The lack of rumours on the keeper situation are worrying. All we've really heard are Given (as per usual) and Westwood (as per last season but who's already a no-go) with Craig Gordon's name also flying around with no real basis for the rumour. My guess is we're still working away to get Fraser Forster on the cheap as he fits the current signing policy of a good young player with sell-on value and most likely would be interested in moving back up here.

Timo Hildebrand would be an excellent signing for us IMO, and has mentioned before he would welcome a move to Celtic Park. I would rather have Timo than Forster anyday of the week

I love all this, Im told, a close friend etc...

I do know a few hacks who tell me Bellamy will not be signing, its all just agent talk to try get him a move, probably to west ham or Blackburn.

They've also told me Rangers will sign up to 6 players and Celtic will sign 3 tops. Darren Gibson will def not sign on loan but the talk is Bobby Zamora & Paul Robinson

Jay Bothroyd will not be signing as he will be offered higher wages in EPL,

Is this Paul Robinson the Blackburn keeper? Or the hatchet man at West Brom (I think he's still there?) If it's the keeper then that would be an absolutely unbelievable signing, really really rate him. The full back not so much.

Also I can't see Zamora coming up here, he can kiss England caps goodbye if he does.

celtic have had a bid accepted from the kaiser chirefs for knowledge musona in the region of 1.6 million. Hoffenheim still are in pole postion as they have a bid accepted also and are om talks with musona but if the cant agree terms, celtic are next in line to try secure his services. This is and odd one consedring we were out of the running last week

O Shea & brown @ Sunderland.. Does this now mean Gibson could come to the hoops as he was supposed to be going to Sunderland aswell until celts mentioned.. LETS HOPE IN LENNON WE YRUST

I believe Gibson is on his way up to Sunderland today to join up with his former team mates. Source talksport. I don't really feel like we missed out on a star tho. He's distinctly average, but had a good grounding under Ferguson.

Took a "fare" to Parkhead this morning. It was a large leather case that had been mislaid from a flight last night. Had the Manchester City crest on the side... No idea who's it was and the Parkhead doorman, who was expecting the case, told me (politely) to beat it when I asked. Not sure if even he new

Living over in oz here and ive heard that liam miller may be headin back with the bhoys in a few weeks time as he has found it hard to settle here, apparently subject to kayal going to arsenal when fabregas leaves for barca 12m the figure being mentioned, would be good business if he could recapture his pre pre-contract agreement form.

The money grabbing little toss** wouldn't be welcomed back at paradise he burned his bridges long time ago celtic payed his wages through his constant injury problems then he has roughly 6 good games and decides to sign a pre contract with man u to become a squad player who couldn't get even get a seat on the bench

He can rot over there half a good season with us n he leaves grass aint always greener now wee man is it ,

Not sure this would be allowed as it would mean he had been on the books of three clubs in the one year. (Ed you might be able to clarify that point?)

Apart from anything else the wee bassa had his shot with us and blew it chasing the big bucks and now he found his level.

/BB {Ed007's Note - You can not play for 3 clubs in a calendar year as far as I know. As for Liam Miller he was another great young player that never managed the step up, to be honest I don't know what went wrong but he should have been playing at a top club with the promise he showed}

bellamy is in talks with cardif over permanent move. cardif have signed earshaw as well and are looking at hargreaves.
