Heard that Charlie Austin is signing for Celtic on January 1st with a view to making his debut at ibrox. Gonna be a cracking signing if we get him. Austin, Stokes and Hooper will be great for them for at least 8 years.

Over heard this while in the Dolphin in partick that pat bonner is coming back as manager, with liam Brady is someone taking the mick
why would we want another rookie manager , bonner has never managed anyone never happening , the next manager is paul lambert if and when lennon fails
Where as i do agree with you that Packie should not return as Celtic Manager as he has not enough experiance with first team management i will state he was assistant manager to Tommy Burns at Reading and then went on to Manage Reading himself before returning to coach Rep of Ireland Goalkeepers.

David threlfall(?) charlie austin's agent spotted in the glasgow hilton earlier today.with hooper being injured are celtic trying to push through an early transfer?is this guy any good?
did some research looks like agoalscorer but hasnt ever played above leauge one so wouldn't be to sure about him except i think he would definately be better than kris commons who up untill this season was a bit part player and for some reason we are linked to but to be honest we need someone with pl expirience if we are going to win the leauge and with hooper being only injured for a month or two i think we should be looking for a loan also i have high hopes for stokes {ed's note - I watched Swindon a fair bit at the end of last season (they had Darby on loan from Liverpool) and Austin looked outstanding, he was the best player on the pitch in almost every match. Definitely has the ability to play at a higher level than League One.}
