Celtic could revive interest in Zimbabwe star Knowledge Musona after Hoffenheim couldn't agree a fee for him (Daily Record)

Where is this coming from? not being an antagonist but google news isn't bringing up any story of the sort. i know a fee has been agreed between the clubs just seemed kaizer chiefs were being funny buggers about the whole thing 10 days ago.

Looks a fantastic player but the problem is Kaiser Chiefs only allowing him to talk to one club at a time - a policy I really don't understand although it could be something as simple as a financial issue in shipping him between countries in Europe (which to be fair I don't even know if they'd pay for over the buyers). They claim it's ethics but they must be the only club to knock back equal/larger bids from clubs where there is no vested interest in preventing squad strengthening (i.e. a rival).

So it's really up to the player whether he wants to reject the Hoffenheim move and talk to Celtic or whether he'll just take the first offer. From what I've heard he's all but accepted the offer to join Hoffenheim but there are a few doubts/issues about the deal from all parties, in particular the structure of the fee on the end of Kaiser Chiefs (which might have something to do with Kaiser Chiefs wanting them to match what we bid for him at least in terms of a future sell-on fee).

All that can really be said is that the longer it drags on the less likely the deal is with them and the more likely he is to join us. Hopefully one of the issues is the desire of Musona to at least speak to us or other interested parties before making his decision as he'd get to do at just about any other club in the world.

Knowledge musona has failed to agree terms with hoffenheim and will hopefully now begin talks with us, we have also agreed a deal to take bouboucar sanago on trial after he was released by st-ettienne.

Roll on Sunday, hasn't even started yet and I just can't get enough

Much like myself, I feel that this year with the experience of not winning the league last year, that will inspire us to a double if not a treble this year, it's good to have kept a hold of our good players such as hoops, kayal, izzy but a player who I think helps our team tick is ledley, in my opinion he is a brilliant player and I think will be our player of the year or at least close runner up.

The majority of British/Irish players are happy to be playing at CFC and Rangers unless a big EPL team come in for them. The foreigners obviously use the SPL as a stepping stone to the EPL but Ledley and Matthews both turned down EPL clubs to come to CFC, also British/Irish players understand loyalty and the size of both clubs better than foreigners.}

At last, someone else who can see Joe Ledley's ability. The Dragon is gonna be awesome this season, took him a while to settle in but he was getting it going towards the end of last season. I was actually surprised he came to us but so very glad he did, him n Kayal are gonna be one hell of a pair.

ShaunBhoy, in my opinion the way he breaks up attacks and plays a simple pass to start the attack is just a pleasure to watch, when he got injuried we missed him dearly as much as when kayal was out.

But his future at our club will see him climb to the dizzy heights of our hero John Hartson, and speaking of him seen him the other night and what a pleasure it is to see him beat cancer and still involved in what he loves football and am sure everyone will feel the same about this too.

Have to say that Ledley is a crackin' player. I said it at the turn of the year to a few tims and was laughed out. Apparently he didn't seem commited. I guess they'd been listenin' to orc's bs about him wantin' to leave. Thought he was good at Cardiff, but at Celtic he has only got better. He has linked up well with the rest of the midfield and more importantly is consistent and gives his all every game.
As for Hoops and broony leavin', pi5h. Broony says he wants to stay to lift more trophys as captain and just look at Hooper when he scores. You can see he loves it. As a few people have said, You can see Welsh Joe stayin' the distance. But you can see Broony and Hoops doin' the same. The only reason the peeple stir this whyte is because they're scared. I don't want loads of signings. We've had that the past few seasons, while the dark side have been too screwed financially to buy, and look where that got us. We have a good squad that know each other and that have gelled. Add a keeper and another striker and I genuinely believe we have a squad to win the league.
Can't wait for Sunday. Just wish I didn't live 200 miles from Paradise so I could afford to get up more.
