I see last night that we were linked to Patrick Roberts of Fulham. I take it its pie in the sky stuff or could it be a Matthews/Ledley situation were the English team will have to pay an excessive development fee and we wouldn't have to pay any.

{Ed007's Note - Qarabag could be a potential banana skin, I've never seen them play but they had some decent results last season in Europe including holding Inter to a 0-0 when they hosted the Italians.
We can't get Man Utd or Monaco, we can only play against champions of other countries.}

ED007 I think if we get Qarabag it will be the travelling again that could cause us a lot of problems (could we not ask UEFA to move the away tie to Wales lol)

Well said mate! Think other than maybe the traveling this is a good draw! Sure these teams will be a step up from the Icelandic mob but if we can't beat teams like these then I'm afraid we don't belong in the CL! Surely we've got enough to beat either of these 2!

Yes and if we do get past them we can still draw teams like Basel Salzburg Maribor and Zagreb in the playoff so it won't be plain sailing unless we get the luck of the draw

We should be able to see off either if those sides after Stjarnan. My concerns though were with the last qualifying round. I'm not sure how much the team has improved yet this window and the lukes of Basel and Salzburg will be a very tough test.

If he is his 'replacement' it would look to me like an exercise purely to trim expenditure. Currently with Griffiths, Scepovic and Ciftci, and plenty of attacking midfielders, do we need this player? He's quite highly thought of but still a bit uninspiring.

If it goes to form and coefficients we will be 5th seeds and will herefore play any one of five teams seeded 6 to 10 so we cannot play Basel or Salzburg or Plzen. Physically impossible
