How do you lot think Aberdeen will fare next season? Unless something unexpected and dramatic happens, they obviously won't be winning the title, but do you think they'll be giving Celtic a good run for their money. Keeping in mind this is Mcinnes' first season and he had no/very little funds he's done a pretty good job. Will they and Dundee give the SPFL the kick up the back side it needs and some competition for celtic in the years to come?
1.) I think they will do well next season. They have had a good season so far and can see them building on that if they reach group stages of europa league.
2.) So the team that finishes above them are in an even better position? The 1 that gets major abuse from aspiring critics .

Who would you lot rather keep in the summer? Balde or Pukki?
1.) 15 Feb 2014 18:09:40
Neither m8 rather watt, grifiths, the fridge and sign some - els
2.) It doesn't really matter neither will get a run of games in what's become neils pals eleven
3.) 15 Feb 2014 21:32:56
Would want both to stay if it pushes the Greek Tragedy out the door. I'm havin nightmares that Samaras is going to sign a 3 year deal, don't think I could take it
4.) @fab 1 I agree mate, its getting beyond a joke. what's the point signing these players if they are not getting a chance
5.) Who would you rather shag, your ma or your da? It's just as tricky a question.
Balde. Purely for his goals to game time ratio and the fact he's something a bit different. Him and Griffiths with Watt as backup behind a quality forward. Sammy should have been punted in January and Stokes' time is up for me.
{Ed007's Note - Ffs Jim! I think I'd rather stick to the original question, we don't want to get all Larkhallesque in here!}
6.) Ha! Sorry dude. It is past the watershed though. I have never experienced Larkhall but I'm assuming there aren't many different surnames. Seriously though, it's dire times if we're entertaining such patter about two players who clearly aren't the answer. We should be loaning out 'projects' like Balde, especially if we're also bringing in the likes of Fridjonsson too (who apparently is "one for now", yeah). Pukki ain't a bad player but he's not a goalscoring penalty box type, the type who should easily be netting 30 playing for Celtic. We need to sign someone who, unlike Griffiths, should get everybody saying, you know what, this lads really going to make a difference this season. Enough squad players, there's still enough of a good basis here we just need the quality in certain areas. How much more comfortable would we feel going into CL qualifiers with a proven goalscorer at decent level, an experienced CB alongside virgil and a magician in midfield who can get bums on seats and get bums on the edge of them once the whistle goes.
{Ed007's Note - Surnames mean nothing up there, everyone is everyone else cousin or 'keezin' if you listen to them.}

Ed, roughly how much do teams make from winning, coming second, third etc in the spfl? I've seen that its ģ2.5million each for 1st and 2nd spot and ģ400,000 for 3rd-12th. Just curious as everyone says different things.
{Ed007's Note - Under the current set-up the the money distribution is as follows:
1. £2,405,000. (17.0%)
2. £1,718,000. (10.5%)
3. £1,460,000. (9.5%)
4. £1,289,000. (9.0%)
5. £1,203,000. (8.5%)
6. £1,117,000. (8.0%)
7. £1,057,000. (7.5%)
8. £1,005,000. (7.0%)
9. £988,000. (6.5%)
10. £902,000. (6.0%)
11. £816,000. (5.5%)
12. £730,000. (5.0%)

Any idea why NL was at the aberdeen motherwell game, ed?
{Ed007's Note - Probably because it was the biggest game in the country and we play Aberdeen in a couple of weeks time in the cup.}
Stuart Armstrong and Kris Commons for me!
Why? Wasn't he available for 6mil?
Schweinstieger, young?
Would most of the fans really want feruz back After he "betrayed" celtic. I personally like the kid, he has a big future.
He's rated a 4mil apparently.
There are still 97 calendars available!
Remember when MJ died and his album was at #1 and lots of his songs were in the top 10, because I expect the same thing to happen with Neil. The calendars will sell out quick so get them while you can!
Bendtner would be a solid player for you. It's a pity he's off to Madrid.
They probably assumed season ticket holders would have season tickets for their children too. I would buy one for my child, if I wanted to go to celtic games (if I was a fan) and I had a child.
Maybe st mirren are just a better side than celtic now
Thanks ed
