1.) No Stefan Johansen?

2.) He's injured Mrs E
Tambhoy

3.) Injured already?

Thanks Tam

4.) He kicked the studs on someone's boot on Sunday and didn't recover. I am at a complete loss as to why Lennon persists with Samaras. If he wanted to be here he would have signed a contract. It's a massive slap in the face for Pukki or even Balde. We want people who want to be here playing. Not mercenaries who will only fight for a cause if the price is right.

5.) I never seen that Pedro, must have been doing my housework such was the excitement of the Hearts game lol

I wouldn't persist with Sammy either, if he'd had a decent season then maybe but won't sign AND a poor season is just ridiculous!

6.) I'm afraid it was only a matter of time b4 Ambrose made another howler. Van Dijk has been holding it 2gether at the heart of our defence for months now but it was only going to last so long, Ambrose is hopeless, plane and simple. We need and deserve a better CB in there beside Virgil.

I'm don't have a clue what formation that was suppose to b out there tonight. This is schoolboy stuff here, surely when u go down to 10 men u go 4-4-1?!

7.) How was it Ambrose fault, Stokes dosn't go to McGinn and Mulgrew jumps under the ball, the other goal was a peach
Tambhoy

8.) Agree Tam, said that to my mates tonight that Efe would become scapegoat tonight if we got beat after Virgil got sent off, from a couple a posts I've seen on social media sites it seems to be the case, not everyone blaming but a lot of people singling him out, Hayes goal worthy a winning any game, second goal was terrible but there was more than 1 that didn't do there job there, fair enough Aberdeen got the breaks tonight, they've done well against us this season even the games we beat them they more than competed with us, credit were credit due, a lot of people moan on here we no competition & iam no saying Aberdeen ready for title challenge but if they can keep lads like Pawleet (best midfielder in Scotland in my opinion), Mcginn & Hayes they no be far away. Just my opinion bhoys & ghirls

9.) @tambhoy ambrose shouldn't even been on the pitch. Bit of a fud statement trying to defend him

10.) We found out exactly how good this Celtic team is in europe, and it was against the worst Ajax/Milan team in decades. When we sold Wanyama & Hooper we lost our 2 best players, after them I really only think Lustig and maybe Brown could play for a top team. I don't rate Ambrose, never have, I have never seen him actually make a tackle, I mean a good old fashioned last ditch sliding tackle and winning the ball, which is an art. I know the modern defenders ideally like to stay on their feet, to avoid selling themselves, and I agree with that, but you should be able to do both. I also agree he is an easy scapegoat, technically Virgil is very good, but I think he is average defensively, not so much in the air, but when the ball is moving fast on the deck he isn't alert enough, he did something similar a couple of weeks ago at Parkhead and should have given away a penalty. But there is plenty there to work with regarding him, as for the rest of the team - I think we need 4 top quality players to be getting on with, also a coach with new ideas. I hate to keep going on about it but to have 3 coaches who all played the majority of their career under Martin O'neil is pointless. We need a progressive thinker like Brendan Rodgers/Martinez, we are obviously not going to get either of them, but we need the next one. I think if Manchester United could have one of them instead of Davie Moyes they would bite your hands of. Bottom line if you were to compare the coaching ideas of Moyes and Gaurdiola I think one would seem from the dark ages compared to the other.

11.) I cannot believe neil lennon is blaming the referee in my opinion van dijk deserved to be sent off and as for the penalty claim if it was awarded it would have took over a minute to stop play and for the penalty to be taken and scored you didn't get the penalty and scored a minute later so why is he moaning. you could understand if you had not scored after not getting the penalty. I think that neil lennon just got his tactics wrong when van dijk was sent off he should have went to a 4-4-1 formation and played stokes as a lone striker but he didn't. he just needs to think sometimes before he makes these rash statements.

12.) KP1888, one question was he at fault for the goal NO, so why is it a fud statement as you put it, until last night, how many minute's did we go before having a goal scored against us in the league, was he not part of the team that broke the record?, I will admit at time's he can be a bomb scare but last night was not his fault, I will slate player's when it's due but he did not deserve to be slated last night, the one who should be slated was VVD, the way Broony was slated after the Barca game but no we will just blame the scapegoat, unbelievable

Evening ed fellow buoys and ghirls heard today people talking about stokes could be signing a pre contract with.west brom in January hope
Hey're talking shi# anyone on here heard that.
Dhman {Ed007's Note - West Brom tried hard to sign Stokes in the summer and in my opinion the only reason he wasn't sold was because Hooper was already leaving/left. I said a few weeks ago that if Stokes' new contract wasn't signed by January I would be worried we could lose him with West Brom leading contenders to wave a wad of cash at him.
I also think that Pukki and Stokes are too similar in style to play together, again and it's only my opinion, Pukki could probably be Stokes replacement in the team with a prolific goalscorer being a main priority for next summer, or a Bosman in January possibly.}

dhman

1.) It wouldn't take a lot more money to secure the services of Stokes, would be a pity to see him go . Well worth his place most weeks .

2.) On performances so far this season would much rather have stokes than Pukki, hope he just taking time to settle and will come good

3.) Ed am I right in thinking finnbogason's contract is up in the summer? An we could throw the kitchen sink to get him in along side pukki? {Ed007's Note - No Stuart, his contract runs until 2015.}

4.) We badly need a natural goalscorer and playmaker as most of us said during summer but per usual board don't deliver

5.) We required a top striker in the summer, Stokes and Pukki both want to play outside of the box. The Management team and the whole of the support knew this and still nothing was done, what is going to change in the future.

6.) Gony please tell me how you can sign a guaranteed goalscorer for Scotland, every signing has an element of chance. There have been goal scorers signed all over the place for more money than we spend and fail in there new league

7.) For monkeybhoy you start by signing a guy with a decent goal to game ratio not guys who (a) isn't ready (b)hardly played.
Jim

8.) Jim was pukkis goal per ge ratio not quite good. Point is players have signed for teams with a gr8 track record in scoring goals but fail at there new team

9.) Pukki at schalke 37 games 8 goals not great when we required a goal scorer to replace hooper and coaching team knew balde wasn't ready by the end of transfer window.
Jim

10.) See finnbogason and johannson 2 scored again in the Dutch league.the later surely at least we can afford along with stokes staying ajw

11.) That's in the German league and how many as a substitute am not saying its fantastic but not to bad. With HJK he scored 13 in 25 season before. Who was the last goalscorers with herenveen think that's where finboggason plays. The Brazilian boy who signed for Middlesbrough for bout 12 and flopped, Samaras who didn't go on to be a proligic goalscorer.
Just saying no gaurentees

Evening ed, have you any idea what's wrong with Joe ledley or how long he's out for I think we're missing him in middle of the park.
Dhman {Ed007's Note - He has a groin injury but I'm sorry, I don't know how long he will be sidelined for.}

Hi ed 007 this one is more for you not Celtic related but we know you also support man Utd do you think that moyes was the right man as new manager I know its early yet but already the man Utd fans ain't to thrilled with him, personally I thought it would be either Laurent blanc or the Dortmund manager who would get the job just wondering what you thought.
Dhman {Ed007's Note - I said as soon as Moyes was appointed that Man Utd would struggle to qualify for the CL in 2/3 years time and if anything it might even be sooner than that. I did think Blanc was the favourite as he had enrolled in a course to improve his English speaking, but Klopp from Dortmund would have been my ideal choice, closely followed by Marcelo Bielsa whom I think is one of the most under-rated managers in football.}

dhman

1.) All my in-laws are Manchester United fans so i've had this debate with them recently. In fairness they seemed happy enough with the appointment which I found strange.

As far as i'm concerned in football there are winners, journeymen and losers. Sadly, Moyes is not a winner. in nearly 20 years of management he has won sfa. All this nonsense of finishing 5th/6th/7th in a league is an achievement is b*ll*cks, that's a failure as far as i'm concerned.

I know he was once a celtic man but facts are facts, it was an outrageous appointment by a club the size of man utd. I wouldn't be sure about him managing us - and tbh I think he'll be our next manager, he won't last 2 years at man utd, will sit unemployed for a year then take over from Lenny after he goes to someone like newcastle.

2.) Got to say I totally agree with ed regarding Marcelo Bielsa very under rated manager why Bilbao let him leave is beyond me. I also believe it was Pep Guardiola who say that Bielsa was the best manager in the world. Davie C

3.) Don't hold back Gerry, tell us what you think. HH joe
