Does anyone on here know if there's going to be a change in offside rule? I seen something about it going to favour the attacker. But no sure if thing a seen was real or no?

FIFA have backed a new rule.
( I think it was be Arsene Wenger’s idea )
The attackers FULL body has to be offside.

A few big countries e. g Italy will be using it in Serie A next season.

UEFA will probably make it mandatory in the future, for all the European leagues and competitions.

They are trialing the new rule in 4 different countries, Italy I think is one of them.
The new rule will be that there must be clear daylight between the attacker and defender to be offside.
This will be huge for the attacking team and its something Wenger (old Arsenal manager) has been wanting for a while.

Kyogo will benefit from that buzz as you say it's got to be the full body. I seen some examples of scenarios we're the attacker looks well offside yet when you look at it closely the attackers back foot is in line with the defender.

It will suit Kyogo if this time rule is implemented, looking into the future we should be getting some defenders now in with real pace if or we will get turned over in Europe big time.

So far it is only getting trialed in under 21/ 19 competitions. Not actually in the main leagues is Sweden or Italy yet.

I am in favour of the 'Clear Daylight' rule and I feel that should always have been how offside is called.

That's how it was years ago when I first started playing football. Seems like the law is coming around in full circle and not before time too ?.

The SFA will lose the registration forms for the new rules to stop Kyogo ruining their team.

I can imagine that there will be some very. very strange looking lines getting drawn by VAR in some games up here when it's introduced.
