Does anyone else think the cup final and game on Jan 2nd are too big for MJ? I'm fine if he comes on as a sub but to start?

If GG is fit will kyogo play LW? Forrest on the left? Or as crazy as this sounds- Ralston and Taylor FBs, with Jura LW?

i’m MJ biggest critic i fail to see what the fuss is all about, he can’t beat the first man when he does try, he’s selfish and always has his head down and to lightweight. He’s 22 so should be putting in better performances, granted he was injured but even before then can anyone say he dominated a game or even produced enough quality in games to merit any hype. i can’t but i’m happy to be proven wrong.

Very likely Ange will be thinking the same thing, but the squad is s paper-thin in quality middle to front and he may play some part IMO.

Kyogo out left is like a man down. Wasted no high press that he does superbly, can't beat a man and isn't good at crossing. His worse games for Celtic are out wide.
MJ is no Jota but yesterday first half he linked up well and contributed. Faded badly second half. If i was picking team and decided MJ wasn't up to the job. Forrest LW and Abada RW.

I thought MJ had a good first half yesterday but then had a poor second half.
He needs to be more consistent.

I don't think there is any doubt MJ is talented. He lacks game experience partly down to fitness issues and he seems to make poor decisions. Whether he can rectify that who knows but several managers and coaches seem to rate him.

IMO, MJ has not done anything to warrant a start particularly in a cup final.

Kyogo must play upfront with Forrest and Abada starting on the wings.

Chinks67, MJ lacks game experience - I'd say if Mikey is unable to contribute/ make an impact when he plays, at 22 years of age, then I doubt he ever will.

The Celtic jersey doesn't shrink.
