Lennon has said a few times that he wants another RB, CM and striker at least and another LB if KT leaves.

If everyone stays I'd say we only need another 2 maybe 3 tops.

A CB a RB and maybe an number 10 to compete with Christie.
Obviously if we lose an important player in any position then we'd need to replace them as well.

funny how only a week or so he said we were miles away from what he wanted now the squad is fine.

Lenny said before the game against the Estonians he hopes to have two players in by then which didn’t happen (albeit Elhamed arrived) . He then said he was hoping to have another two signings in time for the Cluj game. The deadline passed last night even though a wildcard can be registered. He also said they cancelled Simpson’s trial as another right back was about to sign, which hasn’t happened. Lenny is now saying he will wait until the English window closes before looking at signings. Now being a Celtic supporter we know never to get our hopes up when it comes to a transfer window. But the messages from Lawell and Lenny do not match the reality. “We always look to come out of a window stronger than when we went in” “our recruitment work started in February and there is a lot of hard work going on behind the scenes” and most recently the 5 hour transfer target meeting. What is going on why are we not making any decent signing?

If anybody thinks that Boli will be good enough to take over at LB may I suggest you get add the glue. We need a LB a RB as an absolute minimum. Turnbull in January and a CM.

We won’t get anybody, but that’s what we need. It seems Lawell has regained consciousness after the Julien fee and the tin is buried again.

Peter Complacency is alive and well and the abortive press conference shows us all we are looking to spend feck all more. I hope I’m wrong but after last years shambles we have been down this rubbish road before. Still, with the KT money Lawell’s obscene bonus is sorted. Rejoice at that.

Do you think that Neil has been told no more players until we sell some because his comments on the squad was quite questionable. I mean last week was he wanted 2 in for the next round but now it's the squad he is happy with. gambling with champions league qualifying again and if this screws up who takes the rubbish storm for it.

I think he has been told to sit tight till the English transfers window shuts that way we will know if Tierney or any other player is gone and how much we have to spend possibly 50% of what comes in.

We will then look at were we need to strengthen from the income at the same time all the clubs that never got rid of their outcast players we will look at the loan market and possibly pick up one or two loan signings.

I hope I’m wrong about Boli, but even Lenny was quoted as saying he was unbelievably off it at home. In street parlance that equates to utter pish. He was a bit better over there, but still miles off what we need. I would play Hayes first on Wednesday if there isn’t a massive improvement tomorrow.

Too much at stake to take a chance on him if he doesn’t get a lot better against St Johnstone. Could be another Hendry CL suicide performance if we play him. He looked as much a defender as Julian Cleary does a bare knuckle street slugger.
