You pay more for goalscorers that's just the way it is Turnbull got 17 in his debut season from midfield in an average side that's why the 3million could be justified.

Liam we just sold a full back for 25 million mate.
Taylor was a part on one of the best defences in the league last season if I mind right and is now an international. 3 isn't that far off imo.

I think with only just over a year left on his contract we could get Meling for between 3-4 kev. not saying it’s fact, just what I think. and if it means paying that bit more for Meling I’d do it.

A full back who was playing in the first team at 17, 3 player of the year awards and proven at champions League level it's nuts to say Taylor is anywhere near 3million mate it's getting desparate stages now that's the only reason anybody would think he's anywhere near worth that sort of money.

We can't moan and paying £3m for a first choice LB when we got £25m for our own.
We can't begrudge teams trying to make money to compete, it's only fair.
However the lad is a person I wouldn't touch him, simple.
There is plenty left sided defenders out there for a similar price bracket, Melling gets himself a few cards and still doesn't look the exact long term answer.
Let's hope the board get it right.
