Wayne Rooney is returning to the UK when the MLS finishes because Colleen wants the weans to be brought up over here, given that he is a fan of our club and has made his dough do yous think he'd be a good signing for Celtic? He's only 33 and has all the attributes to be a great player in our league for a couple of seasons .

Why does everyone think every footballer is either a fan of Rangers or Celtic? I'm sure Rooney couldnae gee a duck about us😂.

I’d be more than happy to take Rooney providing he’s fit enough to give us at least 1/ 2 full seasons and not just a 6 month stint just to say he wore the hoops. I’m sure wages wouldn’t be an issue at his stage of career as the guys a multi millionaire, listening to reports it seems it’s about being back in Britain with his family.

id take rooney in a heartbeat -granny humping aside the guys a class apart and doing well over in the MLS a league not to far away from ours for level of playing i think. Take the likes of rooney, zlatan out of its a basic league.

Players who move to a club they 'support' in their twilight years never works out. Rooney's still a talented lad but I can't see it happening for at least 492 different reasons. HH.
