Not a regular poster but have posted a few times. Seem to be noticing a lot of people on here have developed a tendacy to call anyone who says anything remotely negative against celtic that they should go supoort sevco or tht they support the wrong team, surely everyones entitled to an opinion whether u agree to it or not for me there's some on here tht are willing to just go along with anything tht celtic do and say well we have won 7 trophies so everthing is perfect. My question to these people are do we not want to improve because as it stands we are getting poorer each year points and performance wise surely people can see this so maybe sum things have to change regarding signings or tactically or watever. im not claiming to know all answers but i do feel we need to try if possible as i know its not easy to bring in a bit more experience or up the wage cap and reduce the squad size getting a core of say 18 players tht we would all happily see play on pitch as just now our bench is poor as a few injuries make us so much weaker. I hope these new lads come in and do a job and perform well but for me burke is bit pointless although hope proves me wrong. Final point- many on here go on about how piss poor rangers are yet they are level with us some people whether like it or not need to see they are closer to us than they should ever be or should have ever been allowed to be rember six year ago that mob gt demoted to bottem tier yet are now pushing us tht should never have happened and tht sort of my point we should be so far in front of them but have rested on our laurels. Would like peoples opinions but al probably just be called a closet h*n 😂.

Only bit of your post I agree with is the last sentence. You are nowhere near us on or off the park as bank balances, the last 7 trophies and the something like 37-7 aggregate score between the 2 sides show .

Are we not worse off points and performance wise? Are they not level on points with us? Also they have just bet us for first time in years so again closer . All these are facts so why do some fans bury these facts away and just spout same pish about the past we should be looking forward every year to improve and get further infront. Trust me all a want is for celtic to be the best they can yet atm a feel we are stagnating and letting them closer than they should ever be.

Don't think I've heard folk on here that have used the term 'demoted' instead of liquidated ever before. However; Yes, there has been a tapering-off since BR's first season, because it would be impossible to go undefeated every year and it's obvious other teams have improved - apart from managing to stay in Europe - and part of the reason for the improvement is because of cash generated to the SPFL from Celtic's CL exploits, flying the flag for Scotland alone.

The transfer window has churned up lots of debate and it's no secret we made a coo's arse of it in the summer and paid the consequences, but a great recovery September/ November saw us lose only one domestic game to Kilmarnock and latterly score five goals twice and six goals against Hearts, Dundee and St Johnstone, playing with the flair and class that saw off Killie, Motherwell and Aberdeen only last month.

Injuries have been a major problem this season as well and no other club would have survived the amount of absences to so many key players at such a crucial time, while winning the League Cup, progressing in Europe and staying top of the league at the break.

Yes, we have questioned some selections and performances, but we have never doubted that on our game we are light years ahead of anyone and we are coming back refreshed, refocused and recruited.

am meaning a core of 18 tht we would all be happy with on the pitch players capable of stepping in and not weakning the team . On our day we are head and shoulders above the opposition in Scotland.
The Football we played against Hearts and Kilmarnock recently was at a level that I honestly don't think any other Scottish team can match.
I think the last transfer window coupled with the exit from the Champions league created a bad atmosphere at the club which affected our early season form and gave some other clubs a bit of a lift. Despite that we are still top of the league with a game in hand, we have won the league cup, and we are still in Europe, despite being in a far tougher Europa league group than Sevco were.
If that is what we have done whilst we haven't been at our best, then what will we do when we start firing.
It's the other clubs who should be worried about what we do, not the other way round.

Everyone is entitled to an opinion but if it’s a pish opinion it will be challenged. There’s enough sevco propaganda in the papers without having to read it on here as well. The fact is Celtic are in a very good place at the moment so there isn’t a great deal to justifiably complain about. Those who do are generally being unrealistic or they might be zombies trying to make mischief. They can usually be recognised cos they say things like ‘that mob get demoted to bottem tier. ’.

This mentality sounds a little bit "Animal Farm" to me - all animals are equal but some animals are more equal that others. I can understand how the establishment, SFA etc can leadone to such a conclusion. I defendyour right to write what you want but I also defend the right of others, including myself to disagree.

The team which was D**D (NOT DEMOTED but DEAD) are nowhere near us. There will always be shock results such as PSG losing at home 1-2 to Guingamp who are at the foot of the table was a shock but nobody things they are the same level. Why Celtic lost to the rangers has been well discussed - injuries, players playing out of position, El bufalo miraculously being allowed to remain on the pitch, very few Celtic supporters allowed etc I doubt if anyone (including rangers supporters) really believes they have arrived and are now at our level. BTW I would love to know what you said in original answer to Stevie HH.

Dez if your travelling from down south to Scotland there is a point where Edinburgh and Glasgow are 4 miles apart. However upon completion of said Journey you realise there is a larger gap of approximately 50 miles. We are at that junction in the league when we get to the end the distance well I'm sure you get my jist.?
