So if rumours are true then why we looking at

Denayer
Izaguirre
McGinn - will be a sub unless Brown gets injured

Arzani - obviously signed on potential

Where is the quality in any of these signings if not one of them would get in the starting 11.

Could have said same about edouard last season kev.
But ultimately we don't know how good a player will be till he's playing for us.
The Izzy situation is different. We only need back up for LB because we ain't going to get a better one than Teirney.

Denayer - seen him at Sunderland and he was awful - not sure how it’s been with Galatasaray but they don’t want to sign up other than a loan again so not sure what to make of that.

Kev T at Sunderland there were a few factors that hindered denayer.
The club was in turmoil
He was continually played out of position
He had injuries
He done ok in Turkey picking up a league medal and winning a cup.
