I have a feeling the Club will go all out get Keane as he would be the populous choice. The PR machine will be going into overdrive to win the fans back.

A name that has been mentioned on here in the past is Murat Yakin. Done an amazing job at Basle a few years back on a restrictive budget. I think they beat Mourinho's Chelsea home and away and he was ranked in the top 30 coaches in the world at that stage. He's a free agent after a short stint at Spartak Moscow so no compensation involved.

Murat Yakin is the name that sticks out for me just now. I would also like to see Jim Duffy brought in as the number two, it was mentioned on here a couple off days ago and i think its a good shout. Saying that, as long as its a manager who receives 100% authority on signings, i will be happy.

Red devil surely if any manager we get was to get full control over signings that would start with signing his own assistants.

Almost every player who has played under Roy Keane hates him.
To use winning the championship as proof he's been successful is a no go for me as Tony Mowbray done that to.
The next manager should be able to bring his own staff but Duffy would be a great shout if the club picking the number 2

Let's be very clear about something. Celtic fc can no longer afford the sort of manager we want/ require, we will not get a hugely successful manager we are just as much a stepping stone for managers (although as Lennon proved being successful at Celtic still doesn't mean you will get a good job at the end of it) as we are players. We do not have the signing budget to attract top managers or managers with huge potential to be world class, we will get the type of manager to suit our club who will have relatively low ''success''.
