There is a new poll up: Would you be happier to never have to play any version of Sevco or do you want to see them debut in the SPFL Premiership?

To vote just click here.

I have voted NO hope they stay in lower division for ever. Their fans will not be missed either.
PS ED007 can you issue a yellow card to anyone on here who mentions the phrase "old firm"
(yes I know I am the first recipient of said card doh)

{Ed007's Note - I'll delegate and leave you in charge of it Tim.}

A "firm" no from me! I have always shown my feelings on this forum about that sham set up across the city. As far as I am concerned they can rot. I cannot believe they are getting away with absolute murder! To still be playing in a fraudulent strip, training and playing at assets that should have been sold to pay debts to small traders, not to mention the government, or to still be calling themselves "Rangers" with the same knuckledraggers follow following them, the whole sorry saga is an embarrassment to everyone involved from theSFA

It would take a long time for me to be convinced that any version of Sevco had gained promotion to the SPL solely by honest methods . Not by having the road paved by the SFA and the referees and their assistants taking away the bends and obstacles . So I would not want them back .

I have made my feelings on this clear on these pages.Never would be too soon for me.

I have voted yes we sit on here talking about meaningless boring atmosphere lacking games of football. Then say we don't want to play rangers again I personally would jump at the chance of a Yellow card game Timalloy nothing beat it for atmosphere and that's what I want to pump them 4-5 nil again and ram our superiority down there throats. I also wonder how many of you who vote no would actually boycott such a match I think it would be very few. And ED it would be interesting if you waited a few weeks and worded the question differently its more skewed to a no vote than the independance question. I would suggest an unbiased would you like to see us play rangers in the league

{Ed007's Note's - I don't see how that would be interesting, I was asked to put a poll up and I did. If you want to be picky about the wording of it then that's up to you, most people rightly believe that Rangers don't exist in their previous form.
That includes previous Rangers supporters, managers, players and owners, not to mention the actual club's comments when they played Brechin in their first ever match.
It is all backed by official footballing statutes, the official bodies like UEFA and FIFA and business law. Whatever skewed propaganda that is now being peddled by the MSM is of no interest to me.}

6.) 16 Apr 2014
They, whoever they are no longer exist, about time we all accepted it and moved on. I have said on many occasion, the sooner Ibrox is demolished the better it will be for everyone concerned. They are like a cancer on football and society. The sooner a statement is issued by Celtic on the matter the better!

My only wish is the Board at Celtic and the management and players grow a set and start making a stand against this myth and fairy tale that is Sevco.
The support do not recognise or wish to associate with this band of imposters!

I have no problem saying Old Firm as Celtic need Rangers as much as we may need them. The television revenue and more sponsorship will only rise when Glasgow Rangers takes it's rightful place back in the SPFL.

Ed could you provide a link to where FIFA UEFA etc have clarified that they are a new club? I have a couple of mates who supported that old club and maintain the exact opposite.

{Ed007's Note - It's all been well documented many times before. UEFA's statutes and regs. are their for anyone to read and they have never officially commented on the subject either way, they have no need to it's all there in black and white. Although Paul Clark from Duff & Phelps after speaking to both UEFA and FIFA stated on 31-10-13.

"Following the liquidation of RFC today both UEFA and FIFA recognise The Rangers FC as a new member club once all relevant criteria are met in the future to allow the new club to join both organisations in the future"

On FIFA's official site it clearly and unequivocally states:

Rangers go under
14 June
Rangers’ perilous financial position had been an open secret but there was still shock when, after 140 years of history and a world record 54 league titles, the club was consigned to liquidation in mid-June. The Glasgow giants were subsequently reformed as a new company and granted entry to the Third Division, Scotland’s fourth tier, which they currently lead by nine points with a game in hand.

Cant understand fascination of that mob. As far as I'm concerned, our rivals died and couldn't give a rats about the subject.
