I have been sent a link on FB that Yaya you're is on his way to Celtic any truth in this ed.

{Ed007's Note - I doubt it. Yaya Toure will more than likely end up in the US or possibly China.}

06 Aug 2016 16:44:38
Hearing from neighbour who's a youth scout for Celtic that it will be one more loan deal in then either a free and one huge signing CM that could even break Scottish transfer record. Rodgers had OK from above but this will be dependant on champions league qualification.

1.) 06 Aug 2016 17:23:37
I wouldn't hold your breath bud, mind that old team who's name escapes me spent £12m on tore Andre flo. can't see that record being broken in the near furure.

2.) 06 Aug 2016 18:39:19
Sounds like your neighbour's a looney.

3.) 06 Aug 2016 18:52:40
Rangers! That was the old team. mind them lol.

4.) 06 Aug 2016 19:39:26
The neighbour was just passing on what he had heard I don't post much on here. I don't have loads of contacts inside but posted way back Strachan was coming and more recently Rodgers was coming but they were from a reliable source. This one is just a rumour the neighbour heard. But he was sure Rodgers has one huge grandstanding signing coming up but only if he gains qualification.

5.) 06 Aug 2016 20:45:20
I hope we do but I think there's zero chance that we'll pay anywhere near the Scottish record.

6.) 06 Aug 2016 21:47:40

With all due respect anyone can come on here and spout what we are hearing from you.

BR had already said he wants 4 new players so with Sinclair looking to be tied up my 5 year old could tell me 4 minus 1 is 3. Anyone could tell us we are looking at 3 new players.

I personally would rather people came on with names. This we will get players IF we qualify is starting to bore me as much as hearing about Sevco being "back".

7.) 06 Aug 2016 21:48:46
Danny Ings?

8.) 06 Aug 2016 22:50:27
Niall sorry i don't have the answers you want i'm just sharing what I've been told by a Celtic scout. that BR has been promised a Marquee signing if we qualify for group stages. He stated BR was wanting it to be a CM.

9.) 07 Aug 2016 02:35:27
why are people moaning at a guy coming onto a rumours site and passing on a rumour believe or don't believe it but no need to moan at the guy or ask him to name names lol jeez people will be too scared to post in fear of a bollocking.

10.) 07 Aug 2016 08:58:22
Fingers crossed Rango mate I like the sound of your rumour.
You could see PL dangling a signing like a carrot in front of BR nose with an IF we qualify post it.

11.) 07 Aug 2016 09:25:50
I'd love ings at parkhead but is he much different to Griffiths or dembele. size and style seen pretty similar, still tho think he would run a mock up here.

12.) 07 Aug 2016 10:36:00
wot would 12 million get you in todays market?, not much i'm afraid.

13.) 07 Aug 2016 10:57:52
I think 12m would get you 3 Pogba pubes and an autograph.

14.) 08 Aug 2016 01:57:08
would have got you joe allan a few weeks ago.

24 Jul 2016 20:35:56
Seen on a few sites that were after Paddy McNair from Man Utd think that would be a great signing the last McNair we had did not to bad though was a while ago.

1.) 24 Jul 2016 20:56:44
Would this just b a loan? Would imagine a lot of teams would be interested, had a decent euros.

2.) 24 Jul 2016 21:55:42
I don't rate him at all, I think it was desperation on Van Gaal's part, every other centre half was injured. As for the Euro's - he only played one game (the first) and was the worst player on the pitch. He got subbed, I'm sure it was at half time, and didn't play in the rest of the tournament! To top it off - he must be the only Paddy in the whole of N Ireland that's from the dark side.

19 Apr 2016 21:51:02
Attempted to post this at xmas that a friend who has links to a law office that are involved in Celtics business affairs. Had said Brendan Rodgers had been offered the job at Xmas and accepted on the understanding he would be appointed in the Summer. The contract has been signed according to my friend and will be announced the week after the season is finished. Rodgers has apparently been studying various coaching methods and scouting players in the meantime. Hopefully it will be announced on cup final day to take away some off the shine from the Tribute acts day if Hibs can't win,

{Ed007's Note - According to Ed002 the job Brendan Rodgers would most want is at Valencia but they have someone else in mind -and the someone else has another job in mind. Next up for Rodgers would be the England job it might be a few years too early for both parties. Swansea could also be be open to his return.
I have serious doubts about any contract have being signed - why would Rodgers still be looking for jobs elsewhere if he's had one lined up since Christmas? The Valencia shout from Ed002 does make sense as Rodgers has always said his ambition is to work in Spain.}

1.) 20 Apr 2016 11:27:37
Draw a line under that one straight away. Breach of confidentiality, something celtic are sticklers for. Just lies.

14 Jul 2013 14:19:40
Hearing last night that jackie mac has told friends he expects gary makay stevens to be a celtic player by next weekend lennon needs to boost amount of scots in his squad and sees him as the best available.

1.) Fingers crossed. I'd have Makay Stevens every day of the week. Think he's be a great signing, fits the budget and another young Scottish lad.

2.) We are talking about loaning out two players with better ability. I do think watt needs his wings clipped but Stokes has had the slack too

3.) This is 2013, the days of buying scots are over if anyone thinks there is naebudy better oot there, take up cricket. al geri.

4.) He should have signed Russell? I'm surprised he didn't fancy him as a player to sign him, maybe I'm wrong, maybe Russell didn't want to sign, rather go South>?

5.) Good news but personally I'd rather get the winger barbosa free transfer and well experienced we need experience more than anything IMO. Gandalf the green

6.) Well see no post against the loaning players with better ability.

Really, Tony Watt and Dylan McGeouch have done nothing. Tony scores a goal against Barcelona and he has done nothing since. Glad to see them both go and get a full season under there belts elsewhere.

GMS or Helder Barbosa, a left footed winger is needed with some pace. Mind you a striker as well, as so far Balde looks too raw and Stokes is SPL at best, so CL will be a nightmare if no one else is bought.

7.) @4. Have it on good authority that Russell was desperate for Celtic to come in, hence the reason he delayed his medical for 4 days. To offer 750,000 in January and then not offer the same come summer is baffling. 20 goals for Dundee Utd would have been at least 25 to 30 for us. Young scottish talented and celtic supporter. As I said baffling!

8.) Kev, you are aware he hardly got a game after the barca game. NL dropped him to reserves because there were/are too many first team strikers.

I see Pedro got last years flops in at seven in the morning training as punishment. Let's be honest if it was midnight it still would t improve last years team but this years would need to be excused because of the sheer numbers that would be attending midnight mass.

1.) 06 Jun 2017 16:52:31
According to Derrick whales on there page there are going to be a different beast next year scary time to be a Tim.

2.) 06 Jun 2017 16:55:40
It will be fun and games at training sessions with the outcasts.

3.) 06 Jun 2017 21:40:15
It should be fun if they put the new bhoys in one team and the flops in the other for training. I'd be booting the other half in the air to make sure they had no choice but to play me and pay my appearance money.

23 May 2017 20:38:44
So what's everyones idea for the NEW HOTELs name

I am thinking something classy like

it wouldn't upset anyone would it!

1.) 23 May 2017 21:11:32
oooh like that, what about
Paradise House Hotel:
Caesars Hotel:
The Kings Hotel:
Hotel 1888:
Walfrids Retreat:

{Ed007's Note - I've said it before but I'd simply call it The Kerins after Brother Walfrid's real name. Sounds quite classy imo and still Celtic related. If we're going to get the best out of it we don't want it called something too tacky or commercialised. Even the origin of the name would be a good way of getting every person that stays there reading something about Brother Walfrid and why/how the Club were founded.
Paradise House Hotel sounds like a brothel in Bulgaria! The Kings Hotel, is that Charles, William or George that's after? Walfrid's Retreat sounds like something middle-aged women go to for a spa weekend when they're going through the menopause and Billy McNeill's nickname is spelt Cesar.}

2.) 23 May 2017 21:41:17
The Kerching money making hotel
Suites The Lisbon Suite (with a Jinky jacuzzi/ rowing boat)
The Jungle Suite (old fashioned toilet facilities) )
The Invincibles Suite (with 24 hour super hero movies)
The Brendan Suite ( with FOUR tanning beds)
The Sevco Suite (must pay in advance)
The Cesar Suite (head and shoulders above all the rest)

3.) 23 May 2017 21:45:27
the take money away from the playing budget hotel.

4.) 23 May 2017 21:50:27
I heard Sevco are open a Hovel Lodge.

5.) 23 May 2017 22:00:05
Was asked before bhoys so can now be answered

Whatever you choose to call it, I call that a nice BIG earner in my book :-D (Y)

{Ed007's Note - We should install a floating pitch just for a laugh next.}

6.) 23 May 2017 22:32:29
Ed thanks for that, it was something out of the OK Coral, shot down at Noon for every reply to the hotel name. lol .
Fair enough: ( idiot style ) . engage brain before posting lol.

{Ed007's Note - Reading that back it does come across a bit harsh, sorry if I've hurt your feelings honeypie.}

7.) 23 May 2017 22:11:22
The Connaught, because brother Walfrid was born in Sligo.

8.) 24 May 2017 11:11:21
F@ck the crown plaza.

9.) 24 May 2017 11:11:57
Heard sevco have plans for a travelodge!

10.) 24 May 2017 10:11:07
Ed have we got planning permission.

{Ed007's Note - We've only applied for it.}

11.) 24 May 2017 11:47:06
I hear that we are thinking of using EBT'S for this hotel

12.) 24 May 2017 11:48:05
Anagrams of Paradise - Paid Eras hotel, Raids Ape Hotel, Para Ed Is Hotel, haha.

13.) 24 May 2017 11:48:05
Cheers ed dyu think itll be successful.

{Ed007's Note - I don't see why not if it's marketed properly. It'll hopefully be used by people attending and participating in events at the Velodrome as it's bread and butter, visiting teams to play us, travelling supporters from opposition teams as well as well heeled Celtic fans who travel to Glasgow for matches.}

14.) 24 May 2017 12:19:11
Thanks mate sounds spot on.

{Ed007's Note - (yes)

15.) 24 May 2017 12:34:01
what about Davitt's, after Michael Davitt.

16.) 25 May 2017 00:38:48
J. Van a room nae hessil Tic
Cost a fortune for the neon sign though.

03 Mar 2017 22:47:47
At the restaurant next door to the bull fighting ring in Pamplona they serve the testicles of the bull that lost that day as a delicacy for dinner that night. Now that Rangers are about to sign a manager described in the Daily Rectum as a Bull Fighting James Bond. I suspect the restaurant in Celtic park will be keen to carry on this tradition on the 12th march but i think any one who fancies this delicacy will be disapointed with the small portions as like in Pampalona the bullfighter doesn't always win.

1.) 04 Mar 2017 07:38:30
Washed down with lashings of martini shaken not stirred obviously.

06 Feb 2017 09:50:14
Joe Garner and Dembelle on same goals scored total. Mind you it's taken Garner all season to score 3 and Mousa an appearance off the bench in the second half and he only cost less than a third of what Garner cost.

1.) 06 Feb 2017 11:58:35
Boyata is only one away from deadly Joe 🤕.

2.) 06 Feb 2017 13:34:16
And that's in his own net!

3.) 06 Feb 2017 16:51:10
Bit harsh JFP lol. He's had his moments (he coould continue to) but I've been clinging onto a hope Boyata will come good. If he can play to how I think he can, and find a level of concistency, we'll have a cracking CB on our hands.

{Ed007's Note - I'm a bit of a Boyata fan as you know, JT and if he continues playing the way he is working hard and learning as Rodgers wants him to he could save us a few million in the transfer market. Rodgers always told him if he got fit and worked hard in training he would get a chance, even Toure is helping him out .
2 or 3 from Simunovic, Sviatchenko, Boyata, Lustig and Ajer when he comes back isn't too shabby imo. I'd like to see O'Connell get a new deal as well. People forget that Boyata was injured, he wasn't dropped and would have went to the Euros with Belgium if he hadn't been injured. If we do spend on another CB this summer I expect it will be someone with a bit of pedigree that will immediately improve the squad.
People want to fill our squad with CL players but that's never going to happen and players like Boyata, McGregor, Henderson and even GMS if he can bulk up and find form are all more than capable at the domestic level and we need players like that when we're playing the amount of games we do.}

4.) 06 Feb 2017 18:21:37
with the profits we posted today we can buy CL players.

5.) 06 Feb 2017 18:06:45
It's not a bad dept. at all Ed. I'd personally push Lustig slightly out of that equation. As in, yes he's an option there, but unless another RB is signed, that's his main position, providing he can stay fit. We could always sign a first choice RB mind, that would change things. I'd then not take up the option on Kolo, and put his wage (plus Ambrose's) towards that pedigree walk into the side CB you're on about. I'd sign O'Connell up too, but look to loan Ajer out again tbh. I look forward to seeing Ajer eventually as a regular for us. But because he came with that next big thing reputation (I believe lots of big clubs were looking at him but RD stole a march) unless he's definitely playing regularly, loan him out. New CB, Erik, Jozo, Boyata, O'Connell.

{Ed007's Note - It's a good position to be in and one of the best bits of business we done in the summer was keeping Simunovic.}

6.) 06 Feb 2017 20:53:47
Couldn't believe we even allowed simo to speak to anyone, he looked quality under Rd, got good game time n played through an injury as most know, out for a while but what I saw of him felt he was class with big Erik alongside him.

As for boyata as Ed said he was going with Belgium as if u look at his form at that time, he was actually playing well, though u couldn't tell due to all the Rd haters finding fault with everything n constantly berating him among others.

As Ed and JimTim have already said we are strong in that department n with the players on board with the 24 hour athlete thinking, which they should already have been the last 2 seasons.

we should see many improve or at least everything is there to improve them but it's up to them if they want to be the best or just stay as they are, right building blocks in place can only benefit the club as a whole now n in the future.

7.) 06 Feb 2017 21:17:35
A guy i work with killie st holder raving about young ajer and then read today Lee Clarke doing the same.

05 Feb 2017 14:13:57
Dembelles third has to be goal of the season so far just for the build up.

1.) 05 Feb 2017 14:38:19
PMSL. 20min he was on.

2.) 05 Feb 2017 14:46:09
Shows just how much we need him or another quality striker if he is out. don't know what is going to happen to Griffiths? Hopefully he will knuckle down and fight for his place. Know he is carrying an injury but we could do with him back and firing.

3.) 05 Feb 2017 19:09:56
And only last week some fans were happy to see him go if the cash was right.

4.) 05 Feb 2017 19:52:07
Big Mikael totally taking the p*ss!

Strange mick I know for a fact big money has been offered by at least two huge clubs and he was made aware of this by club who told him they would rather he stay but wouldn't stand in his way. He apparently was insistent he will not be leaving before ten in a row are won.

they are going mental at the SFA in my work tonight it is so funny watching their veins popping out on their foreheads. When will it sink in it was the decision of an independent appeals commitee that overturned the red card not the SFA they were there to argue it was a straight red.

{Ed007's Note -
