linked with a striker wout weghorst from dutch league, anybody know anything about him?,

looked into him a bit since posting ed, 22 in 60 odd games, 6 ft 5, would imagine BR will have his own targets in mind tho.

I asked all the Dutch lads at work about this guy when we were linked with him previously, they all said the same thing that he is there for a reason if he was any good he would be at one of the top clubs. A bit naive as a decent player can come through at any club but that was there opinion on him for what it is worth.

We were also linked with a striker Santos at N. E. C Nijmegen. They all rated him and said he will be EPL bound if Ajax or PSV don't sign him.

agreed ed, i would like to see johnny russel in the hoops, would imagine it be out our price range tho, fees and wages.

{Ed007's Note - Quite a few people say that. I'd be aiming a bit higher than that, would you say Russell is better than LG? I know we're a bit thin on the ground with strikers but I wouldn't bring in anyone that isn't better than LG, I'd just play the youngsters and spend the money elsewhere.}
