Just watched The Gamboa interview and he wants to be here that's what we all want to see I don't know much about him but I hope he succeeds for him and our selfs! Think Rodgers is going to go for Leicester style of counter attack in the CL COYBIG!

Last night was a very humbling welcome back to the CL! Maybe getting destroyed like that will help us become stronger as a team as the embarrassment even although the excellent opposition will let our players know what it's like against the big boys again this can hopefully help us compete better in our remaining 5 games and give a much better account of our selfs! Better to learn the lessons early and improve with extra motivation not to be embarrassed like that again! On another note ED another thread further down the conversation was about us signing players and the club backing Rodgers unlike RD! We made a good start with the signings made the keeper not included but Rodgers does need a few Windows b4 he can completely shape the team and clear out who is surplus to requirements. I think the board will back Rodgers to continue to improve but it's better to be done gradually and see what we have rather than signing players for the sake of it but we do need to accept there is certain amounts we can not reject for bids for our players but maybe the amount to replace said players may be more if needed.

Our fans are never happy! I do agree that there are a couple of positions needing filled but the board have spent money and not just spent but spent well! If we signed who we've signed after the CL draw u all would happy but because the board backed Rodgers first it's like u forget! It has been s good window so far and if we add say a McCarthy to the mix it's been a tremendous window!

We've only spent £4M SOSBHOY. Don't get me wrong, I think we've spent it very wisely but we haven't exactly pushed the boat out in terms of transfer fees. I'd like to see probably 2 more quality additions brought in, a CM and RB.

Totally agree.
The board brought a manager in that most fans thought was out of our reach.
They have brought in new players.
Looks like they have spent wisely.
We have reached the champions league which most fans would have said was impossible at the end of last season.
Now we are told AT LEAST one more signing this window and people still moaning.
Rogers was never going to build his team in just one window.

For once i'm seeing a bit of sense in this window, What if the right players can't be bought or aren't available do we just go out and spend it just for the sake of it. We have bought too many squad players over the last 5 to 6 seasons its time to stop that trend. Spend wisely on guys that are going to walk into the 11. I do think another 2 will come in before the window ends.

Only spent 4m? MYbe about that in transfer fees but then we have Kolos wages, sinclairs wages, dembeles wage and BRs wages! Do u think we pay them peanuts? I would like a CDM and a RB but a CDM of quality would round off an excellent window! We've added quality as said above and have a massive squad!

We played ok today! A lot have been moaning about brown but Iv always been an admirer of him but he's re invigerated! Young KT has got to be one of the best LBs in Britain phenomenal! Know he's not played much but would like Kolo to drive the ball 5/ 10 yards forward in possession would help playing out from the back. I complained when EC went out on loan last year because he looked a good prospect the boy oozes quality! I don't see why Rodgers is sticking with mcgregor? Rogic will thrive with the pace we have In front of him driving defenders back extra second or 2 to find passes! Last but least our new front 4 we are going to be frightening once we get out of second gear shame Roberts is only here for the year!

I think and I could very well be wrong that Rodgers picks Mc Gregor ahead of Rogic as he regards Mc Gregor as a better harasser than Rogic . Our midfield / attacking players are reguired by B R to keep the opponent defenders under pressure.

Superstition? Bit too paranoid! I get things go against us at times but they also go for us why is this a conspiracy? Our players and manager are not going to take their eye off the ball because of a monthly award! I feel a lot of our fans are looking for excuses already subconsciously! it's football games are won, lost and drawn mistakes are made against and for us and as we do know there is barely a part of life which isn't corrupt but why cling to such a negative perspective? If we play well we win we are superior but not invincible I think a few of u need to accept that.
