Hi Ed is their any truth in the paper talk that we are meant to be axing Izzy for Shinnie? I think that's crazy on his day Izzy is quality sure he has his off days but he is the only senior LB we have so he never gets a rest, if we get rid of him we will still have no cover unless he uses Twardzik at LB which isn't his preferred position. Reports were from The Scottish H** rag so its probably rubbish

{Ed007's Note - First I've heard about it mate. Birmingham City were up looking at him at the weekend, Aberdeen are the only other club I know with any serious interest but the chance to join his brother at Birmingham might tempt him down south.}

Good sounded a bit crazy to be honest cheers Ed :)

I could see there being serious interest for Izzy in January. He has the odd lapse, but more often he's our greatest attacking threat. Can't see Ronny letting him go with all the energy and enthusiasm he brings to the team.

3.) 23 Dec 2014
Im more concerned that Ambrose will still be there after Jan and no talk about bringing in NEW CENTRE BACKS.

We are meant to be after Kara Mbodj from Racing Genk maybe Ambroses replacement or maybe VVD is off and he's his replacement? The Izzy story was in the Scottish Sun yesterday and there's a story on news now Celtic both mention Shinnie and the online story meantions Hendrie too we can't get rid of Izzy. Not good defensively is because he's spent the entire game bombing up the park as we are usually attacking

Is it not possible that Shinnie at left back with Izzy left midfield going forward. This would free up the money we appear to be throwing away at the likes of Tonev, Boerrigter, Berget.

6.) 24 Dec 2014
Most Celtic fans would welcome that he will perform better as he will have less ground to cover plus being a defender he will possess more power in midfield compared to most wingers

The biggest problem with izzy is that he hasn't really improved since he got here. No one can argue that he's a real threat to the opposition. He is also seen as a real weakness by decent opposition. I don't necessarily blame izzy for this, where is the coaching? Why is no one working on his positioning when we lose the ball?
