2.) I'd take Lee Wallace especially on the cheap! Was a bit gutted we missed the boat on him when he was at Hearts. good LB!

3.) McKay Stevens would be a good signing for us. Armstrong as well, but with Ledley, Brown, Biton and Mulgrew its more of the same. Fletcher will never happen. Wallace in my opinion no better that boy at Partick or the left back at Dundee Utd. Jelavic - proven up here and is better that what we have at present.
4.) No Jelavic please, no ex rangers players.

5.) When it comes to signing players from Scottish clubs, the Deady Bears were always one step ahead of us, especially under Smith's return. The only one's I wish we pipped them too though were Wallace, and Naismith to a lesser extent. Wallace was the LB we were screaming out for years, Naismith has a good return rate at SPL level, but wouldn't add much quality in Europe.

Seen numerous sources saying a loan deal for demba ba has been agreed perdonally I think its a lot of tripe but just relaying what I heard and as I ssid a few days ago the ciani deal is almost there aswell as bannanand biton

S {Ed007's Note - People are jumping the gun in judging Sharp. If he is happy and settled he is a great poacher. If we sign him he WILL score goals, I have no doubt about it. Money is not his motivation either, he turned down EPL teams (and more money) to sign for Doncaster Rovers, personal/family happiness is far more important to him than money.}
4.) Well said Ed totally agree, Billy Sharp will score for fun up here, no he not what we need for europe but someone else be brought in to play along side him {Ed007's Note - He would rip the league up in Scotland and I'd bet with his attitude and approach he would become a fan's favourite.}

Heard lenny wanted a clause in his contract if a club comes in that he deems bigger than celtic he can leave and the board wanted a clause that they can terminate due to results (dont shoot the messenger) {Ed007's Note - There wouldn't need to be any such clauses in a one year rolling contract and no manager would EVER sign a contract with a clause that he will be sacked if the board don't like results. If he gets sacked all he will get is one years' salary as a settlement payment. More and more clubs are signing their manager on rolling contracts, it gives both the option to part ways at the end of every season without any legal ramifications.
As for leaving for a bigger club, who judges if it is a bigger club, NL could think it is and PL could argue it wasn't, just like opposition fans do. Southampton fans think that Wanyama moved to a 'bigger' club.}
