reports from Romania say that we are interested in two young players.
One of our scouts has reportedly been watching Steau Bucharest's winger Gabriel Iancu (19) and Dinamo Bucharest's striker Dorin Rotariu (18).
Rotariu has reportedly been monitored by Man Utd.

NFL was reported to have been down watching Charlton's CB Michael Morrison and striker Yann Kermorgant.
1.) Is Kermorgant not a little bit old, considering our signing policy? Needing a striker for champ league, don't think this boy is the answer.
Would love Snodgrass, Rhodes or Fletcher and Ciani brought in, one can only dream.

Maybe he will be another Yann(Jan) Vennegoor, who knows. Would still like to see this Fridjonsson getting a shot up front, apparantly he is wrecking the deck in training.

I would rather see Fridjonsson get a chance also, not like us to go for a striker in his 30's he also only scored 8 goals this season I believe no good enough, the c/b Morrison getting good right up's where as a lot of boro fans would seem delighted to get rid of Williams as his form has been shocking.

7.) Honestly have to laugh at the strikers we are looking at, we need a quality striker. Not Griffiths who is SPL at best, nor Kermorgant, he wouldn't even be good enough for Sevco. These english lower league players are not what we want or need.
Celtic Park will be a ghost town if these are the types of player to be signed.
Attendances are already falling, doesn't matter how loyal a fan you are, no one will waste hard earned money to watch players not fit enough to wear the Celtic jersey. And before any says we got Gary Hooper, yes there is always 1 player that will shine just remember where there was a Hooper there was Miku, Lassad, Bangoura with 3 untested players in Pukki, Balde and Fridjonson. So 1 good striker out of 7 to date proves we have to spend big on a proven goalscorer.

not so sure about morrison or williams. would be happier with our youth in there as both look suspect at many basic things. we have lustig and mulgrew who can play cb also so no need for these two. if we are after a cb please a bit better quality than this lenny
i believe we aren't after any of these players and its just lazy journo although I remember yann was scouted about 2 and half years ago but its a lb we need
9.) I still reckon that LB is Alex Buttner, not Manchester United class (whatever that is these days, sorry Ed) but definitely good enough to hold his own for us domestically, and probably in Europe. Can't imagine him costing us much more than £3.5m - seemed a cracking player at Vitesse but hardly cut it in the EPL?

Ed007 - You heard anything about a deal with Sammy going to Trabzonspor and Marc Janko coming the other way?
One of my mate txt'd me about it.
I remember that we were interested in him years ago when he was at RB Salzburg when he was banging them in but think he went off the boil since then.

10.) Not "too late" as in he's had his only chance. Too late as in I'd rather just go with Amido. On a one game basis he looks the better player.
11.) We went after him TWICE & he knocked us back, despite him praising the club! He's has his chance, after all he's now a 30 year old, (no sell on value which doesn't fit into our current buying policy) he can fook right off as far as I'm concerned, Lennon should be getting the kids involved as the league is already won, that way we will know what we have coming through! & therefore hopefully saving us from enduring more of the overpriced duds we have bought recently!

Not all players signed need to have a sell on value, a couple of experienced players could be valuable to the younger players

Hearing that we are looking to do a double signing from Red Bull Salzburg of midfielder Valon Berisha and striker Jonathan Soriano.
Figure I heard was £6M for both, sounded cheap to me but would love it if this came off.

NFL stated that it was a foreign striker that we're after since the LG bid has failed so far.
I've heard that it's Johannsson, the 23 yr old striker that we were watching from AZ. Heasrd that the fee is the issue with us looking to pay £3.5M with add ons and AZ wanting £5M.

Henrik's on record saying he wouldn't want Jordan to go abroad at the moment as he feels he's tto young.
So don't think Manchester United have a chance unless they buy him and loan him back.
