I know I will get pelters for this but I think we should go after Jelavic! obviously surplus at Everton and would not cost the earth in fees or wages.

1.) When we had a sniff at him I hoped we would get him as he had played well against him for Rapid.Now I would not touch him with a barge pole.First sniff of a move and the trouble would start.Remember he refused to play for sevco. green jhedi

2.) Couldn't see it mate, plus he was terrible last year rather get a young striker in or gee Watt a run oot.

3.) I think that is a good shout. He is a good player and he knows where the goal is. Proven at SPL level and would do a job in Europe. Don't know if we would pay the fee and wagesrequired though as he will be on more than 20k a week.

5.) If he could re-discover the form he had before he went to Everton I'd take him in an instant. He was prolific at Sevco, 30 goals in 45 games for them. That's almost Henke territory. The big difference was that Henke did it year after year after year. Not in Henke's class of course but it would be sweet to buy a player THEY couldn't hold onto. And then draw them in the Cup and Jelavic slaughter them! lol
Unlike to happen though, Everton would want too much for him.

6.) I would take him in a minute, don't care how he played last season or part of it. bang the goals in up here again (as he would do easily) wee bit experience, be great up here. no chance tho, he won't be short of teams in EPL or back abroad if he leaves Everton? So very doubtfull

7.) @Chrisbhoy: I don't think Everton would be that hard to deal with mate. For me he's not a Martinez player, he is also looking to bring his striker from Wigan.But as I said earlier I would not touch him. green jhedi

12.) Normally I would say no, but he does sound like everything we need tbh and might be quite cheap. So aye defently. Also sevco's rage would be hard for the Scottish media to conceal

13.) Not in a million years. He got an easy ride from Scottish referees while at Rangers but his theatrical diving and borderline offsides would be hammered if he played for Celtic.
