Man City and Arsenal interested in Van Dijk for 10 million. Hope this is B.S. I seriously think that he is our best player and will only get better. We have to hold on to a few our gems as well. We need our best players out on the pitch too, not just in the shop window.
1.) Think with the way vvd is playing its inevitable he will be away in the summer! Can't see any of they two teams trying in January with him being cup tied for CL and no need to add another CB to either squad immediately.
2.) Without a doubt, best player at celtic at the moment. Only a matter of time before he is away

Seen it on ssn this morning am assuming they don't just make up stories. Unfotunately we have become a selling club due to the league we play in. Hopefully he'll feel like staying for another year but doubt it .
4.) I would hope we hold on to him for another season but agree that him moving on is inevitable. I would hope though that we would get more than 10 million for him.
5.) He does look far too good for SPL and it is a huge problem that Celtic went out of Europe in such a dismal way as it does very little to convince our best players to stay.

He is very young still and may well decide to stay for his own development i.e if we qualify for champions league, I think he would be better getting another year at us playing 1st team football before moving on at the end of next season. At the end of the day money talks and if we get near what we got for big Vic then he will be away. 3 1/2 yrs left on his deal so I'm hoping the board would resist the money for at least another season. maccabhoy

No doubt that finances are all important. But in balance the team has to be strengthened in order to compete in Europe where success will generate more income and failure will leave is in the same financial wilderness as the rest of Scottish football. Therefore we must hold on to some of the "gems" evn if it means turning down potetntial massive profit on sale

Just wanted to congratulate Celtic youth player Calvin Miller on being named the best player in the world born in 1998 on FYT website. The future's bright for this young lad!

1.) Congrats to the Bhoy! Celtic youth is great but I hope we get to see him and makes first team soon. Know his dad is a fan and they say he is level headed I just hope it dosent turn into a Islam f that we lost to chelsea for nothing. Get him on a long contract so we can hold onto him, best young player in the world deserves that if he is like a bale player.
2.) Can you sign young players on long term deals {Ed007's Note - Until they turn 18 they can only sign three year professional deals.}
3.) We got 300k for Islam Feruz, better than nothing. And when you consider the character he's turned into then 300k for a total f*nnypad of a boy is actually good business by Celtic.

I must admit that Darnell Fisher is really making a case for himself. Looks really good today. IMO we have three right backs that could compete for a starting place. Thoughts?

I agree with majority of what has been said, but I don't think Forrest was to blame at all. He actually created a lot of chances (some were half chances).
Unfortunately, Stefan Johansen looked out of sorts on the pitch today IMO.
I have no idea why we played Sammy today. There will a lot of pissed off Celts because of that choice.
