I would prefer this isn't posted but can my whole thread be deleted or at least this sentence below taken out, it's in extreme bad taste and can only imagine it was an over- sight on an Eds part. If I'm banned for writing in about this then so be it but a 15yr old going to the football and not coming home is not something I find as 'banter'
'My parents would never have allowed me to go to a game alone whilst I was school age. Who do you think the parents would blame if, God forbid, their kid never made it home. I'd hazard a guess that it wouldn't be themselves'
{Ed007's Note - I won't be deleting anything, it wasn't an oversight. It's a valid point about what could happen if children are allowed to traipse round the country and do what they want without proper adult supervision, and it's relevant to the thread, to say it could never happen is just naive in this day and age.}
Aw diddums, did the big bad wolf upset the sanctimonious self appointed conscience of the site?
It's a pity you never got offended enough to answer any of the questions I asked you all day.
But then we all know what supporters (and people in general) like you do, it's deflect, deflect all the time until you can pounce on ONE single thing to get on your high-horse over. You will grasp at anything to avoid anyone questioning you all the while trying to look down your nose at people.
It is a hideously ugly trait in people.
Every single normal person who will have read the thread would have seen the relevance of what I said, and I 100% stand by what I have said in the context I said it.
You've shown yourself to be no better than a spoilt child who doesn't get their own way and runs to the teacher.
And then tries to tell the teacher what to do, that's twice in 2 days you've done that.
I'm sure most of the readers and posters on here seen through you long ago. I know I certainly did.
{Ed007's Note - Right that's enough now, you've both had your say and it's going nowhere.}
Have the rest of us missed something here? This thread stands alone and both posts are way out of context.
{Ed007's Note - If you read down the page you will see they had a minor disagreement earlier today. It is babysitting money I should get in here.}
Wow, Mrs E, certainly on fire here. Guess I m missing something and need to check the rest of posts. Still, just reading this, too many parents don't take responsibility for their kids and then are amazed when they get into trouble, or wors!
Would rather see threads addressing on the field, management and board matters.
Fireworks etc are a matter for the police. They get paid enough to provide service at matches. For me, if any incidence regarding fireworks occurs at any game the buck stops with them. No one else.
{Ed007's Note - I'd be delighted to get back to talking about CFC's own problems DN. The pyro stuff isn't just about our club or supporters, it happens at more clubs than just ours. Until the rules change it's a tireless argument but I will say that if the rules ever change the club shop will be selling CFC branded pyro within the year.}
@DN30, you keep on about all our problems on the field!
Can you name them, and MORE importantly can you give us the solutions.Seems you have all the answers lol.
Haha, Just caught up on "Thee Thread"
Ed ends it rightly, as it was going knowhere!
Restarted ALMOST?! And a comment thrown in from knowhere, could another one start up again? :0
Spot on DN30
@rayman I can actually- Stokes, Griffiths, Samaras, Forrest and Ambrose. And yes I do have a solution.Sack lennon. Does that answer your questions?lol
Again no solution only the negative. Griffiths? only played a couple o games scorin a hat trick wow what a problem, ambrose? part of the best defense we had in years, sack Lennon? name a replacement or there is no solution lol.
Ambrose definitely needs sorting! ;) Good squad player at best.
DN30s team selection
. wanyama.
wanyama wanyama wanyama wanyama
wanyama wanyama wanyama wanyama
Wanyama. Wanyama
Coach wanyama
Coach owner wanyama
Hamburger stall wanyama
New owner of London rd tavern wanyama
Friendly to be played against a wanyama selection
Stokes is too inconsistent.
Griffiths looks fine if he can keep his form.
Samaras is like Stokes. The only difference is that Stokes still tries.
Forrest is useless most of the time.
Ambrose is fine. I think he's a decent player.
I think we should sack Lennon and appoint DN30. He could always do loans and swaps with his friends over at Sevco! lol
Hail Hail
@rayman sacking lennon who is the negative, who is responsible is the solution. Is that a bit clearer for you now?
@ttts stop living in past with wanyama
@chrisbhoy good shout, wouldn't be hard to do a better job.
@DN 30 sacking Lennon means we have no manager. Still no solution, you just berate everything without thinking what the reprisals will be, who will be the replacement and who would you have signed. Considerin going by recent signings our max seems to be 2 million.
@rayman your talking bs. You should think before u state things. This is old ground, I've debated time and time again. Lennon should never of got job. Not an apprentice position. Any manager with experience and has tactical awareness, we welcome.
I think this is typical case of "lennon blinkers"
You seem to be forgetting £2m release clause paid to WBA for mowbray, no excuses to up wage cap for manager.
You don't have to break bank to sign quality. Lennon is not a big enough name to attract these players, because he does not have reputation where these players want to play for him, hence griffiths.
Norwich City fans are dreading the thought he is being linked with them.
I talkin BS lol. Think its you, I have asked for your solution YOU havnt given any. Sackin the manager is not a solution, finding him a better replacement IS. Naming players you don't like is NOT a solution naming better options IS. Instead of just moanin about what you don't like here is a better idea. What about constructive criticism.
@rayman your talking bs again mate. So basically what your saying is it is NOT a solution to sack an under-performing manager? I bet you were on the other side of the fence with mowbray, calling for his head. Clear case of blinkers here.
Players I have listed are simply not good enough. Majority are underperforming. don't think griffiths is answer, if he was that good how come none of the bigger clubs in england were after him?
So we can take it your quite happy to field sub-standard players and have an under performing manager in charge just cause you have an emotional attachment to them?
Says it all about you really
Again criticism without reason, now its me lol and you assume and make up things ie Mowbray. "if he was that good bigger clubs in England would take him" are you serious. You didn't say that about wanyama or vvd or hooper etc. You already havin a go at Griffiths andhe hardly played.And to my knowledge there ain't many clubs bigger in England now who is showin a small club mentality.
Criticism without reason? What the hell are you smoking? Everything I have said has a reasoned explanation.
Making up lies about mowbray? If he was that good a manager as you are implying, how did we sack him? Why did we not keep him?
Wanyama- when we signed him we had competition from standard liege, racing genk, aston villa as well as interest from germany. All top flight teams with good reputations. I never needed to say anything about him. Clearly evident he was a good player.
Hooper- better stats than andy carroll, a £30 odd million striker in the championship. Clearly evident he could perform in a better class league than SPL.
VVD- already widely thought of as a future holland international. PSV were also in race to sign him
So why would I feel need to say anything??
Lee Griffiths- struggled to get a game at wolves untill they were relegated from championship. ONLY got a game when they were in 3rd tier. Not one club apart from celtic interested.
Stop telling lies and stick to the truth
@Dn30 you may have explained your reasons but AGAIN no solutions. Where are the lies lol because you don't like what I say they are lies? Get real, I can only assume your arguments hold up in the playground.Oh and by the way I can reasonably assume like 99 percent of celtic supporters you had never heard of Wanyama Hooper and VVD before Celtics interest.AGAIN AND AGAIN I say what is the solution? Look up the word in the dictionary lol.
{Ed007's Note - Had NL heard of them is a more fitting question? Wanyama was a John Park find and Jim Melrose recommended Hooper to our scouts. By the law of averages I would question if NL found VVD. The board's failure to push the boat out on players the manager wants is an obvious problem, Lassad?? Miku?? And there is no way Griffiths was one of his targets, like the fans NL's ambitions are not being backed by the board. Do they not trust him to spend wisely?}
@rayman are u really that thick?? You have been told time and time again the "solution" SACK NEIL LENNON! how hard is that for you to understand?
You are telling lies. You couldn't give a truthful answer to question I raised about mowbray.
Did I say once that majority of celtic supporters knew about the mentioned players? that's the job of the scouting system or did u not know that? End of the day, u do not have a satisfactory answer to my questions. You keep trying to change subject with "solution" chat.
You have been told THE SOLUTION many times! Il say it once more SACK NEIL LENNON!
Yes I must be thick, you just don't get it lol SACK LENNON is not a solution it is a reaction, the solution is finding a better replacement which part do YOU not understand. Tellin lies because I didn't answer a question are you or real?I not interested in Mowbray you brought him up I was quoting you.When will you start backing up your rantings with solutions.Oherwise your just moaning and it has NO credibility.Also you say Wanyama VVD and Hooper were "clearly evidently"good players yet never heard of them before we signed them lol.If you judge a player before you even seen them all your arguments go out the window mate that you clearly sit next to. Just don't jump because not everythin in the DN30 world can be that bad lol or you hopin to come back as a zombie.
@rayman aye wait there. Sack lennon and put no replacement in? What planet are u actually from? I thought that was obvious!
Typical avoidance tactics from blinkered supporters like yourself, not answering questions I raised about mowbray which are very relevant to the case.
Been backing up "ranting and moaning" as you put it all the way through this thread. Not my fault your too dense to understand.
Wanyama, VVD and Hooper were "clearly evidently" good players. Stats don't lie and also why would a host of top flight clubs be in the chase for them if they were not? Just goes to show your judgement, when you think Lee griffiths is a good player. (Another blank last night)
You really do not have a clue what you are talking about. You keep trying to change subject and avoid questions I put to you.
Here you go again lol, look you were asked 1 question WHAT IS YOUR SOLUTION? You have not answered. what's Mowbray VVD Hooper etc got to do with this. YOU want Lennon sacked and said certain players not good enough. So again WHO would you replace them with and who would you replace Lennon with. Its about the 10th attempt and you still going on about other things or just use insults.
{Ed007's Note - Isn't he saying his solution is to change and improve manager and buy better players?}
