Was at the game tonight and as mentioned first half poor, second half much better. Good to see CCV back first and foremost, few other players did well. Scales was solid enough but I reckon he is a squad player at best.

We probably have over achieved when we consider players who left and both windows. Even those of us who had saw Idah playing for Ireland were not over excited with us taking him on loan . Many thought Board were completely off their rocket allowing big Pierre ‘s son to sign for Norwich .
Now we can safely say Idah far exceeded all expectations.
Neil Mc Cann was very negative about Idah before we fork out, maybe up to £6m Neil says we don’t know how he will do in Champions League.

The standards in the Champions League are very high and there are no easy games home or away . For us to improve our standings in C L first of all we need better players on the pitch . The problem with this is that the C L starts very quickly after SPL and new improved players don’t get long to bed in .
The 2nd problem we have is traditionally we always try to take game to our opponents, we like to put them under pressure, Many European teams are very good at picking us off on the break . We can appear to play quite well against Europeans but just a little misunderstanding or slip of concentration and we are in trouble . In many C L we can play quite well, but we can be wasteful in front of goals, this means if we let a midfield player of M O’R go, our chances of scoring are really reduced, as he is probably our best “assist “ and scorer on the team.

The board are responsible for putting us through months of torture as the league would have been over at Xmas if they had not dropped the ball.

Weejoe totally agree. It's been an absolute rollercoaster of a season and the board are to blame. Just hope the recruitment in the summer is a lot better and that we are a lot braver in going for better players than just always looking to sign projects. We need a proper balance of ready made and project players. But still a great day.

We must surely be spoiled with success, when we completely blame the Board because we have dropped points in league . The Board, Manager and players along with the current support of some of our fans who are without doubt best fans in world . The Board have a responsibility to give the manager the players to win the SPL. . Whilst aware that at times it was far from pity and far from what is required by Celtic, we have to remember that our midfield 3 certainly the engine room and strongest part of our team has started only 7 games out of the 36 games played so far in league . What our club definitely needs is dialogue between the Board and different supporters groupings, supporters clubs who travel from near and far, supporters forum who gather the views of fans from everywhere and anywhere, all could contribute to improve understanding and discourse for the betterment of the whole club.

Ed any idea what has happened to Holm is he injured. I thought he had potential, but seems to have disappeared off the radar.

Has OH gone to Monte too, maybe we should ask the elite Scottish referees to go out at weekends to search for them . These refs have proven themselves capable of seeing a Celtic player especially If he has a hand away from body . Only need search party for 4 weekends.

Hoping MOR might stick around for champions league next season. If he was to be sold surely we must be looking at minimum 25 million with a 15 -20% sell on clause.

Hopefully we will see the quality players we all want. Think to see that though we need to push up the wage structure limit, we should be looking at say 40 -50k a week for decent players who would certainly improve us.
